Words of Blue And What They Do

-

So many words of blue.

They all remind me of you.

It's the color that you wear everyday

And it's what I felt when you left without say

-

You made me stronger when you went

Your back was all you sent

I made my fist, made my mind

Next time I won't be so blind

-

Even though anger rushed in me

I won't let it free

I won't do what you did

My life, I will never bid

-

You may have thrashed my love

But I'll pick it up once more

I'll give it to you again

I'll never leave your door.

-

You may not care, but I do

My heart was filled with so many words of blue,

But I still felt the same, that I knew.

So I'll wait forever.

Because I love you.

"Sakura?" whispered an injured shinobi from his hospital bed. His eyes, even though they were tired and blank, had a pale fiery light in them.

"Yes, Sasuke-kun? Is your head hurting again?" asked a pink-haired doctor. She saw him holding a piece of old paper.

She gasped.

"Th-That's…!" she panicked, blushing," W-Where did you get that?!"

The shinobi only stared at her, smiling faintly," It was in your side pocket. It fell out when you left yesterday."

She cringed, blushing harder," Oh, that was not supposed to happen,"

He looked at the paper again," This handwriting was when we were Genin."

Her cheeks matched her hair, if not darker,

"And?" she squeaked, gripping her clipboard so hard it might break in half.

"You waited?" he quoted from the poem. He looked at her with tender eyes. She saw the seriousness in them. Glancing down at her feet, she nodded.

"I've been. Always," she said quietly.

Silence fell between them. Her sea-like eyes focused on the white tiled floor, hating the tension that filled the room.

"Ichiraku's. The second I get out of here." He suddenly said.

"Huh?" she looked up. He wasn't staring at her anymore; his attention was at the window. She peered at his reflection.

There was some red on his cheeks.

"Just you and me. Understand?" he quietly ordered, not facing her when he laid back down on the bed, " The sun's setting. Go home before it gets dark."

After thinking about what he said, she inwardly smiled.

"I will."

AW!

I thought that was cute. Hee.

I'm not a poet, so tell me what you guys thought about the poem. Seriously. I need to know.
