Chapter 5

"Alexis Bender arrived at her birthday party last night without her leading man," said Libby Lamb.

It was the morning after Chris appearance at Under 21. Jess was sat at the breakfast table, sleepily eating bacon on toast. She'd gotten home before Sara and AJ the night before, so she had been told by her mother, she had arrived home asleep and in Chris's arms. Despite her promise to not fall asleep at his house she had. Fortunately Chris had no problems getting her out of his house and into her house. He spent twenty minutes having a nice chat with her mother before heading home.

"I really don't like Alexis Bender Chris is my leading man," thought Jessica, glaring at Libby Lamb.

"Although no one saw him arrive at the fabulous club under 21 witnesses confirmed that Christopher Wilde did indeed make a secret appearance to sing to packed club of well wishes. Party goers say the popstar left the club immediately following his performance only to be seen hours later with a different girl. My sources tell me this mystery girl might be stealing the heart of our favourite popstar," said Libby Lamb.

"Please don't have pictures," thought Jess. "Please don't have pictures."

"Awe there's no pictures," whined Sara.

"Yes," thought Jess.

Her phone bleeped.

Story on news. No pics – Chris.

Can I see you today – Chris

"Take Jessica with you," said their mother, as Jessica looked up from her phone.

"Where are they taking me?" asked Jess.

"To the beach," said their mother.

"Ok," said Jessica.

Going to the beach – Jess

See you there – Chris

You don't know what beach – Jess

I'm guessing your going with your sister so it'll be Malibu beach – Chris

Hadn't thought of that – Jess

"So where did you disappear of to last night?" asked Sara.

"I said I came home," said Jessica.

"No you didn't," answered Sara.

"Yes she did," answered their mother.

"I'm going getting ready," announced Sara, before she headed up the stairs AJ following her.

"He's a nice boy," smiled their mother. "Such a gentleman."

"Whose a nice boy?" asked Mr Olsen

"The boy Jessica has been spending all her time with," answered Mrs Olsen "She fell asleep in his car last night as he was bringing her home and he carried her in."

"Who?" asked Mr Olsen.

"Christopher Wilde," answered Jessica, with a smile.

"Really?" asked Mr Olsen, not believing them.

"Really," said a voice.

"Chris!" exclaimed Jessica, running to him and hugging him before pulling back.

"How?" she asked.

"You're Granma let me in," smiled Chris.

"You need to go before Sara and AJ see you," said Mrs Olsen.

"I came to ask if I could borrow Jessica for the day?" asked Chris. "I'll drop her off before the concert."
"Or you could drop me off at the concert and I could just meet the girls there," said Jessica. "I'll go get my bag."
"You're going to the beach with your sister," said Mr Olsen.

"Dad do you really think I want to go to the beach with my sister to look for my boyfriend when I could be with my boyfriend?" asked Jessica.

"Go," smiled Mrs Olsen.

"Thanks mum," said Jessica, running upstairs.

As she ran into her room to grab her bag. She saw Sara and AJ staring out the window.

"What are you guys looking at?" asked Jess.

"Christopher's car is outside," squealed Sara.

Jess glanced out of the window.

"Lots of people have that car I've seen like twenty of them," she said.

"Maybe he's come to pick us up for the concert," gasped Sara.

"You have lipstick on your teeth you may want to check your make-up in case it's him," said Jess, as she slipped on her shoes.

Sara and AJ hurried into the bathroom as Jess grabbed her bag and ran downstairs.

"We need to go before they come down to see if it's really your car parked outside," she gambled. "Bye mum bye dad bye Granma."

"Have fun!" called her mother. "Check in with me in a bit."
"Ok!" called Jess, as she let the door close behind her.

Just as Chris's car drove off Sara and AJ came downstairs.

"Where's Jess?" asked Sara.

"She's gone out with her boyfriend for the day," answered Mrs Olsen.

"Jessica doesn't have boyfriend," answered Sara.

"She met someone," said Mr Olsen.

"I have veto him," said Sara.

"He's a nice guy go to the beach," said Mrs Olsen. "Jessica will meet you at the concert."

Sara huffed and then headed to the beach with AJ.
