Chapter 8
"Christopher who is this?" asked his mother, as he entered the house with Jess.
"Here you go Stubby," said Chris, chucking the keys to Stubby.
"A pink car you have got to be kidding me," groaned Stubby.
"Hey that's my Granma's," answered Jess.
"I will take good care of it," answered Stubby, as he left the house.
"Christopher I'm waiting," said his mother.
"This is Jess my girlfriend," answered Chris, as he lead Jess to the sofa. "Wait right there and I will be right back."
"What about Alexis hunny I thought you liked her. You were good together," said his mother.
"No you thought it was good publicity. I broke up with her," answered Chris. "I need to go and get changed. I'm taking Jess on a tour of LA. Do not hound her and go tell Alan I'm not doing the movie."
With that last comment Chris turned and headed up the stairs and Jess stared down at the floor.
Chris was back within ten minutes showered and dressed and found Jess in the same position and his mother glaring at her.
"You ready to go?" asked Chris.
Jess nodded.
"Chris we need to talk about this," said his mother.
"No we don't. I'm seventeen I need to start running my own life," said Chris, as he lead Jess to the garage.
"Actually you know what I'd just like you and dad to be my parents from now on not my managers. I'm not doing the movie," said Chris.
Jess and Chris drove away.
"You just fired your parents," smiled Jess.
"I guess I did," answered Chris.
"So were are we going?" asked Jess.
"To everywhere," answered Chris.
And they did. Hollywood walk of fame, Venice beach and the Hollywood sign. With a together photo.
"I am totally having that as my screen saver," said Jess.
"Yeah it's pretty cool," smiled Chris, before he kissed her and snapped a photo.
