Conrad's POV
"Where is he?" Sirius asked as I heard him pace around me "Lou never takes this long right?"
"Not that I remember" I sighed, letting my head rest on my paws as we waited for the last wolf to show up. Lou.
Usually it was Sirius who took forever sense he was always the one that would never wake up when he needed to and we would have to send Drako to go and get him, but that was when they were dating and it was Lou this time. Which was deffinantly new because he hated being late, probably because he thought if he's late he gets left behind.
"He has to hurry up! If he doesn't, we're going to get found out by our parents" Lucas said, shaking his head.
"Speaking of which, Sirius, how did you get out of the den without Armstrong or Candu knowing?" I asked, knowing how protective Armstrong could be with Sirius.
"Ummmmmmm well I uh snuck out when Candu was nibbling on Armstrongs ear while they were sleeping, thats when Candu is the most occupied" Sirius answered, laying next to me.
"Is this Armstrong guy really that strict?" I heard Marcus ask.
"No, not really, just...worrisome" I answered sighing, burrying my head into my scarf and closing my eyes "He was like that with me when I was a pup"
I could practically feel someone staring at me as I burried my head deeper into my scarf, if there was one thing I hated it was wolves staring at me. I hate it when they stare...
"Conrad, I've been meaning to ask you, what is with that thing that you where around your neck?" It was Sylus.
"My scarf? Its nothing...just something I wear" I answered, sighing once more, lying of course.
This scarf had great centimental value to me, so much that I don't let anyone touch it except my adoptive parents and even then I'm a little hesistant when they do.
Others have tried to touch it, like those wolves that always try to bully me because of my scarf as well as the fact that I'm the only dog in Jasper Park. They always try to take it and rip it apart but they've never put a paw on it, thanks to Drake and Sirius...okay and Lou a little bit.
"Hey guys!" Lou said, running up and panting as he arrived sitting down next to me.
"Hey Lou, you finally ready?" Marcus asked, chuckling.
"Yeah, sorry I just wanted to do something before we left" He answered his voice sounding a little shakey.
He was hiding something...
Sirius' POV
"So what did you actually do Lou?" I asked, a little curious, he was acting strange, well stranger than normal
"Nothing, just trying to get out of the den without my parents seeing me" He answered, rubbing the back of his head.
I raised my eyebrow at him, he was really acting strange, there was just this thing about him, like I knew he did something he wasn't supposed to do. Eh its Lou how bad could it have been?
"Well now, you guys ready?!" Marcus asked, clearly excited about the 'party' we were going to.
"Yeah, I guess so" I answered, helping Conrad up from where he was laying.
"Then lets depart!" Sylus said smiling as we began to walk.
This was all new to us, maybe not Lucas and his brothers but this was deffinantly new, Conrad had to stay close to me so that I could lead him while we were walking. Lou stayed in the middle of the group, feeling that that was the safest place to be in this kind of situation.
However, I didn't know how familiar with this they were, they didn't seem like they were were bothered by leaving like this at all, without permission that is, just how much trouble did thse three get into?
"So, Conrad, I know Sirius has a thing going on but what about you?" Marcus asked, looking back at us.
"A 'thing'?" He asked, tilting his head.
"You know, are you with someone?" He asked, smirking "It's Lou isn't it"
Lou blushed, shaking his head frantically as well as Conrad, both starting to say different things at the same time to the point where it was in audioable at what they said. To be honest it was kind of cute...
"Jeez you two, I was just kidding!" Marcus joked, chuckling "You two seemed a little defensive about it though...maybe you two are together"
"No! I-I like females!" Lou disagreed, looking back at Conrad afterwords "No offense Conrad"
"No problem! I like females to!" Conrad complained.
"So you're the only one huh Sirius?" Marcus asked, winking at me.
I rolled my eyes, I technically wasn't the only one who went for the same team but I also like girls to! Drake was the one who was only interested in...well I'm not really sure, he likes males, I know that much but I'm not sure if he's shown any signs of liking girls as well, although they showed many signs about liking him.
"Not really" I answered, looking away and exhaling.
"But what about this Drake guy I've been hearing about?" Lucas asked, looking back at me as well "You're still together aren't you?"
I didn't really even need to think who told them that, it kind of answered itself when Sylus smiled back at me with a huge smile. Of course he would be the one to tell, he was so curious about when Drake showed me affection and I declined it.
"No, we broke up some time ago" I answered, sighing.
"Really? May I ask what happened?" Lucas asked, generally curious about my old relationship.
I felt Conrad react physically, as if he had slowed down to listen, but I didn't pay much attention to it, he really wanted for us to get back together but I just didn't see that happening anytime soon...
"Its a very long story..." I replied, sighing "In short, he basically cheated on me and because of that I broke it off"
"Oh, I see, and now what are you going to do?" He asked.
"Hopefully find someone new, you know? Someone I just fall in love with, like Armstrong did! Well he had two but still" I replied, my smile coming back from when Armstrong told me about how he and Candu fell in love, what they went through and what happened to Hutch when he met Leon.
"Two?"
"Yeah, thats an even longer story" I answered, rubbing the back of my head.
"Come on, tell us! Long story or not!" Marcus requested.
These three...they're so curious, not that I minded. I could tell that they wanted to learn more about the three of us and become friends which I was more than happy to do.
"Okay but I appologize if I ramble, I really like this story" I replied, smiling.
"So do I!" I felt a pair of warm paws going around my waist, pulling me back into a warmer chest, a familiar chest, yet one that I didn't want to feel again. Looking back, I saw that wolf that had a dark shade of brown for his fur and his lighter face, those eyes that I fell in love with when we started to date in the first place. My second friend and first boy friend.
"Drake!" Conrad gasped, hearing his abnoxious voice when he pulled me back into his embrace.
"I love hearing that story" He informed, nuzzling me "It reminds me of you and I whenever you tell it"
"W-what are YOU doing here?!" I growled, looking at him.
"Came here to look after my boyfriend" He answered "You really didn't think that I would just let you leave like that would you?"
"So this is the Drake I've been hearing about..." Marcus exclaimed, raising an eyebrow.
"How did you find out that we were leaving?!" Conrad asked, sounding generally surprised that Drake was here to.
"I felt my lovely Sirius leave Jasper, so I decided to follow him" Drake answered, nuzzling my cheek with his.
"Whatever, whats the real reason now?" I asked, knowing he was lying.
The whole time we were together he always used to give me 'surpises' and say that he knew I would love it because he had a sixth sense when it came to making me happy, I later found out that he always would ask other wolves that I was close to what made me happy. It was really sweet of him, always going out of his way to do anything to have me smile.
But, that too when we were together, and I'll admit that I missed it.
"Someone informed me that you were going to a party and knowing this I wanted to come along!" He confessed, smiling and keeping me close.
"Someone?" I looked around at everyone who was there with us.
Conrad seemed to be so surprised that he was here so it couldn't be him, Sylus barely knew him at all and his brothers didn't know Drake at all! So there was only one more wolf that could have been responsible...
"Lou..." I half growled, looking at the wolf as he cowered when he knew that I figured out it was him "...You were the one who told him weren't you"
"Y-yes..." He replied, his ears going flat against his head.
"Why?!" I asked, pushing away from Drake.
"I-I wanted for us all to be together when we go to the party!" He confessed, looking down and crossing his paws over each other "I-It didn't seem right leaving Drake out of it"
So thats the reason why he was so late, he was informing Drake about what we were going to do.
"But you knew I didn't want him with us!" I sighed, growling slightly.
"I-I just felt as if he should come with us!" He said, putting his head down.
"Sirius, don't be mad at him" Drake argued, stepping in front of Lou "Its unfair of you to ask that they stay away from a friend just because of what you assume is me cheating on you, which of course I would never do"
"What?! I don't make them not see you! Right Conrad?!"
I expected an almost instant answer but what I recieved was utter silence instead.
"Conrad?" I asked, turning to the dog.
"Well ummmmmm you kind of do..." He replied, choosing the wording carefully.
The three brothers watched as we exchanged words, Sylus I'm guessing was trying to find out what was going on between us, Lucas was probably just waiting for the argument to end and I was pretty sure Marcus was loving the drama right now.
"I-I do?"
"Yeah, its just that you don't really want us to hang out with him, I mean we meet in a different place now, you walk away whenever Drake is around and it just doesn't seem fair to him, he's our friend to" Lou explained, standing with Conrad.
"W-well I didn't know you two thought that way...I-I'm sorry" I apologized, looking down and felling stupid.
"Don't say sorry but can we have Drake come along?" Lou asked, looking nervous about the request.
"Please?!" Conrad joined in.
Drake then came around to my back, bringing me close to him and hugging me once more "Pwease?" He asked, winking at me charmingly.
"Ugh, I'm probably going to regret this but...fine, he can come along"
At the sound of me finishing my sentence, Lou and Conrad immediantly got smiles on their face and began welcoming back Drake to the 'group' along with the three brothers, they began introducing themselves, getting along from the looks of it. Which meant that he was deffinantly going to be taggling along for awhile.
I guess I'm going to have to learn how to deal with him, hopefully he won't be to flirtatious like he usually is, maybe he'll be to distracted with the brothers to actually do anything with me!
"Hey beautiful" Drake said suddenly, breaking me out of my day dream and causing me to look up at him and in the process our noses touched!
He looked down at our noses and smirked, winking at me.
"Jeez lovely, I didn't think you wanted a kiss that bad"
"Shut up" I growled, moving away from him and begining to walk again.
"Awwwwwwww stop being so grumpy love! Just think! It'll be like old times!" He cheered, smiling.
"Grumpy?! I'm not being grumpy!" I argued, growling a little again.
"It's okay that you are!" He said, going up and hugging me close "You're so cute when you're mad!"
"If you don't move your paws you're going to see me mad" I replied, growling at him.
Drake just stared at me, almost entranced by something before one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen came from him, his tail wagging madly.
"You're so adorable!" He announced, his paws going around my waist and his head going against mine.
Just bare with it Sirius...Try not to kill him...Just try not to kill him, or seriously hurt him...
Just remember its for Conrad and Lou.
Leon's POV
"NO! NO! NO! NO!" I growled, pressing my head into Hutch's fur "WHY?!"
I was practically in tears, how could this happen?! Why did this have to happen?! Why now?!
"Honey, its okay, we'll get through it" Hutch said, rubbing my back and trying to calm me down.
I looked up at him, shaking my head as I was about ready to burst into tears from the news that I heard about from my little brother and his mate.
"It's not that bad when you look at it" He said, smiling.
"I knew that there was something wrong! Didn't I tell you?!" I asked rhetorrically.
"Come on, if everyone else doesn't mind it then why should you?"
"Because 'it' follows me around like a plague!"
"You know 'it' is a wolf right?"
"I thought I got rid of him, but nope, he followed me here!" I informed, walking back and forth from one side of our den to the other.
"I doubt it was to get your riled up lovely" Hutch replied, smiling happily at me, seeming to be unaffected by the news "You're just being parranoid"
Just then, he walked in, smiles and all, his tail wagging, looking straight at me. Oh how I felt my heart skip a beat at the sight, just seeing him made me fear for my life, all of the memories came rushing back, all of the near death experiences, all of the accidents.
"HEY LEON!" He cried out, running up and hugging me tightly.
"Hello...Cyrus..." I welcomed, sighing deeply.
"Hello Cyrus!" Hutch welcomed as well, then noticing his mate at the entrance of our den and welcoming her in as well "Hello there Emma, how are you doing?"
"Really good actually, Cyrus was very eager to see you two again" She responded "He likes spending time with you both"
"Well then, I'm very flattered" Hutch thanked, looking at me "What about you Leon?"
I sighed, looking at him and growling slightly, he knew that I flet very unsafe when Cyrus was around because of the past experiences with him and still he gives me that cute smile of his, boy was I going to get him after they left...
"Yes, very flattered" I 'agreed'.
Update! Okay I'm sorry for making so many excuses about not being able to update as frequently as I used to and trust me I hate the fact that I update one story every week but I'll see what I can do about it, but I made this chapter a little longer than usual so please tell me how I did or if you have some advice its much appreciated soon when the group gets to the party there will be a few characters that I'm really excited to introduce just thought that I would put that out there so...
