Alpha and Omega: The Accepted

Armstrong's POV

"You sure that Lou wouldn't go away from the trail?" I asked, looking back at Salty.

We were walking for hours, without so much as a sign of the kids, no tracks or anything, it was surprising really, I didn't even smell them! Leon couldn't either and he was trained for stuff like this.

"Yeah, getting lost is one of his worst fears!" Salty confirmed, scratching his head "He wouldn't stray away it unless everyone else did and even then it would take him some convincing"

I sighed, without knowing where they were going we might as well be getting lost ourselves.

"There has to be some kind of trail somewhere" Cyrus started "Leon, any luck?"

I looked to my brother as he looked around the trail for any sign of them in case they did wander off but he shook his head.

"I haven't seen anything sense we started walking, did the kids say anything to any of you?" Leon asked, still continuing to look for tracks.

"Conrad didn't say anything to me" Cole responded, then looking to the rest of us as we took turns shaking our heads but then our gaze landed on Cyrus as he was staring at a white flower "Cyrus?"

"Hmm?" He responded, still staring intently at the flower.

"Did your kids say anything to you that might give us a hint to where they might have gone?"

He shook his head, his eyes not leaving the flower as if he was expecting it to come up from it's roots and start walking away, there was always something going on with him.

"But, when we were going to Jasper, we met some interesting young wolves..."

Leon growled from where he was at, rolling his eyes.

"Why does that matter at all?!" He growled.

Cyrus didn't have much of a reaction, he just continued to examine the flower from all sides keeping a straight face the whole time.

"Because he told us and the kids about some party that he was going to and invited us..." He responded.

We all stared at him, keeping quiet until he eventually noticed all of our gazes and tilted his head, clearly confused at why we were looking at him like that.

"What?"

"You didn't think of telling us that before?" I asked, sighing.

"Nope, the kids didn't seem that interested when he told us" Cyrus answered "So I didn't put much thought into it"

"Did this wolf mention where the party was?" Cole asked, tilting his head.

"Yeah, why?" Cyrus asked, his tail wagging behind him

Was he really this clueless? I mean there has been some times when I thought Cyrus was just kidding about how little he could peace things together but now I was starting to think that he didn't know what was going on. But, after giving him some time, he finally seemed to get it.

"Ohhhhhhh! You think they're there?!"

Leon growled, angry again at the level of ignorance that Cyrus had.

"Yes Cyrus..." He said, sighing.

"Okay! Good idea!"

Cyrus looked around, putting a finger scratching the back of his head as he tried to obviously remember, and if my memory serves, then Cyrus has a terrible memory.

"I think the party is that way..." He said, pointing one way "Or that way..."

His other paw then went the complete opposite way and I heard Leon growl again, shaking his head and walking in circles, clearly annoyed by him as Salty patted his back, trying to get him to calm down.

"Lets try both okay?!" Cyrus encouraged, walking one of the ways that he pointed with a little perk in his step.

"At this rate, they'll be back before we even find this party" Cole claimed and honestly I couldn't agree more.

Lou's POV

"One here...and here...no, over here! Perfect!"

Groaning, I finally woke up from the constant noise and speaking. I expected to wake up and see just one of the walls from the den that David let us stay in but instead there was David himself, my eyes slowly adjusted and I saw that he had his nose pressed against mine, a smile on his face and when I looked at his smile I saw a rose in his mouth. As soon as I saw this, a blush spread across my face and I jumped up, mumbling whatever came to mind.

"D-david! What the-, what-when did you get here?!" I asked, flustered.

My eyes then went to the rose in his muzzle and blushed harder but that was nothing compared to what I saw when I looked at my feet. Red petals. Red petals all over. But not just that, they were forming a shape, one that I knew all to well. He put petals all around me in the shape of a heart. I felt my eyes widen and my face become red, I knew it was visible.

"Thats a cute look you have there Sweety" David said, winking at me, his voice a little altered from the rose in his mouth.

I couldn't believe it, how as he able to do all of this in the time that I was sleeping without waking me up?! While I was contemplating this, David found the perfect oppurtunity to push me onto my back, perfectly into the center of the rose petal heart. He put his paw on my chest to keep me there and smiled down at me.

"Sweety...I found this for you..." He said, offering the rose to me by putting his muzzle next to mine and the stem of the rose to my lips.

I hesitantly opened my lips and took the rose into my mouth, watching his own just incase he tried something. But he didn't, once he saw that I had a good grip he let go, only slightly though, from there he moved to my nose and pressed his against mine.

"When I was walking last night, I saw this rose bush filled with roses and they looked beautiful...instantly, I thought of you..." He told me, smiling and kissing my nose "Because you are the most amazing sight I've ever seen"

My head felt hot, I knew I was blushing by now but why I was still didn't make sense.

"David...I'm sorry..." I applogized, remembering the events from last night.

He stared at me with a questioning look, tilting his head as if he didn't know what I was talking about.

"What about, Sweety?"

"You know...about bringing up the kids and what happened to them" I reponded, looking away and avoiding eye contact, afraid that I might bring up that same face from him that I experienced last night "I-I felt really bad about bringing up something like that, so I wanted to applogize"

I didn't hear anything for a while, nothing but silence, and the fear of seeing him look at me like he did last night was keeping me from turning my head to investigate, I just kept my eyes centered at the rose petals around me to my left side, wanting a distraction from him.

Eventually, after a few minutes went by without even a sound, my curiosity got the best of me and I took a small peek, his expression surprising me. It wasn't that blank expression I expected, he was shocked! His mouth was slightly opened his eyes wide, motionless, he wasn't even blinking!

"Y-you felt bad?"

I nodded.

"...Can I kiss you?"

"W-what?! Where did that come from?!"

"Please? Just a small kiss is all I ask for..."

"N-no! Why would I kiss you?!"

"Because you're so sweet! I love you!" He informed, smiling and leaning in "Come on, just a small one..."

I turned my head, trying to get him to miss my lips but each time I tried he moved so his lips were infront of mine. This continued on to the point where I just was swaying my head back and forth to avoid making lip contact with the wolf who has a crush on me.

"No! David, go away! Conrad is still in the room!" I complained,putting my paws to his chest and trying to push him away.

"No he's not, the pups took him out to go play with him" David replied "It's just you and me"

I looked over to where Conrad had fallen asleep last night and what David said was true, he wasn't there and neither were the pups. That would explain why no one else was talking except for David and I...

David grabbed one side of my cheek, smiling down at me as he hindered one way my face could move and he held it there, slowly leaning down and kissing my cheek first, then moving to my lips even with the rose in my mouth, his eyes half closed as he moved closer.

"Wow..." A sudden voice rang, making both of us freeze.

Turning our heads towards the entrance, we could see the three brothers and Glacier, standing there and watching us. I looked from them to the scene they were witnessing, seeing us like this, almost kissing and with rose petals all around us in the shape of a heart and a rose in my mouth.

"T-this isn't what it looks like!" I swore, shaking my head.

"I think this is exactly what it looks like..." Marcus replied, smirking.

"We knew that you two would eventually get together..." Glacier added.

I shook my head, about to deny it when David hugged me tight and nuzzled my cheek.

"Yup! We're official now, Louis and I are a couple!"

I growled, hating my real name and hating it even more when he says it, I told him that I didn't want him to use my real name! I hate my real name!

"No way!"

"Sweetheart, I know you're embarrased about our relationship because it's new, but everyone is happy that we're together! It's okay!" David said, going along with the story.

I scoffed, growling at him. How did I ever feel sorry for this guy?!

Sirius' POV

Where was everyone?!

The only one I could find was Marshal and I was already with Drake to start with. But this crowd was just ridiculous! They must've been up all night because I was up and I never stopped hearing other wolves howling and talking.

Throughout the night though, Drake kept me up and he and I talked, without arguing surprisingly, that was a first time in a long time, we talked about all of the good times we had with Conrad and Lou an each other of course. He constantly brought up how we were always snuggling close together and all of the other passionate things we did while we were a couple.

He reminded me of all of the good times we had.

When we finally decided to get up and walk around, all of the wolves we saw before were still up as well, talking to each other like no time had passed. Luckily, we found Marshal resting away from everyone else and he offered to show us where David was staying. Knowing David, he probably had Lou with him and last time I checked Conrad was with Lou.

Marshal remained quiet the whole time, just looking straight. David said he was shy but I doubt that, he hasn't had trouble talking with us, he just plain seems like he doesn't want to. Was he just anti-social?

If so, then despite his looks, he is the exact opposite of Armstrong.

"We're almost there" He announced, looking back at us for a split second.

"Okay" I responded, then deciding maybe it was best to start a conversation with him "Say, Marshal, how did you meet David in the first place?"

Marshal looked back at us, taken surprise by the question. He stopped and so did we, but why would he stop? The only place we were close to was David's den. Was there something he didn't want him to hear?

"The first time we met was when David asked me out" Marshal responded, his arm going to the other and holding it.

"Y-you! You and David?!" I asked, not believing in him.

"Damn, that guy is good..." I heard Drake mutter.

"Yeah, it was around two years ago when we met here" He replied, looking down "He just walked up to me one day and asked if I wanted to go out sometime"

"And you said 'No' right?" Drake asked, tilting his head.

"I said yes"

"But I thought you were straight!"

"I am, I was curious about what it would be like if I were to date another guy" He responded "We dated for awhile but it just wasn't for me, so we broke up and we've been friends ever sense"

"Just how many wolves as David taken a liking to?" I asked, curious about what Lou was getting himself into.

"Well I don't know how many he liked before me, but afterwords my count is...around nine"

"Nine?!" I asked rhetorrically.

"Damn, he is good..." Drake commented, getting a punch from me on his shoulder.

Nine, ten if I included Marshal, wolves, thats how many wolves he's been with? Judging from the way that he is with Lou I could have guessed that he was David's first love. I guess not. These facts lead me to think that maybe David wasn't really 'in love' with Lou, maybe he was leading him on.

Feeling like I should protect Lou, I continued walking towards their den with Marshal at my side, just a bit ahead of me to show me the way while Drake followed us. I had a few questions to ask David.

Okay I updated! A little earlier than my recent updates which took like a month to do but I hope you guys enjoyed reading so leave a review if you'd like and as I always say...
