Oh no here the hunters go

So after the events of last night it's fair to say Percy was worn out beyond the healing of even poseidon blessed water. He lay on the couch in the middle of temple of Artemis beneath a always full shining moon, snoring so loudly Hecate had to reinforce her walls with a soundproof barrier as to not hear him a temple over. While he slept soundly on the outside, his mind traveled back to the andes mountains taking his semi mortal spirit on a quest through a realm of spirits. His whole body tingled in that way when your foot's asleep and to him it felt annoying enough to open his eyes, maybe artemis had poisoned him to keep his secret safe. As he opened his eyes he lazily muttered "Soooo worth it though." and to his utter surprise he was hovering twenty feet above a small rocky shoreline, with a cliff overlooking the ocean. "Not bad no camp half blood but not bad, now to find out why i'm flying over theee...pacific?" He knew few things in his life, kicking ass, and water based ass kicking were two, and knowing your oceans came with the second. How in Hades he got here was a mystery though, he floated there thinking to himself about what he remembered from the night before, water goddess, near death experience, jungle death hunt, sloppy sloppy face fannangling. Oh yeah he lingered on that last one for a second, almost long enough to not notice he was slowly descending. He took up as much of a fighting stance as he could with no ground beneath him, putting up his fist he steeled himself for a good old fashion sea wuppin because his captor picked the wrong place to pick a fight with a son of Poseidon. To his surprise a much younger, and dare he say attractive, Mama Cocha stared up at him with a warm smile. Her skin was smooth and wrinkle free, her black hair no longer in braids cascaded down her form covering her backside, she now wore jade anklets and matching bracelets that accented her poncho perfectly. "My champion has returned to me, it is good to see you prima i was hoping you would not resist my call, not many would travel so far in the spirit realm." He shrugged and tried in vain to make his feet meet solid ground. "Well you know us sea brains we usually just go with the flow, and not to be rude my lady but why and how have you called me out here i mean were not even really on the same power spectrum." He stopped and thought for a second, seeing Mama Cocha smile even wider. "Mortals, always so worried about things beyond their own understanding, my little prima there is now a piece of me in you, it connects us like the rivers that travel across the mountains." Percy looked more than a little weirded out, and also worried, if zeus got mad when his all powerful bolt got stolen how would he feel about Percy having the power of a foreign goddess that could throw celestial hands with poseidon.

"Excuse me Mama Cocha" he gave a slight bow mid air. "I'm a little lost and half asleep right now so could you explain why im here, and flying?" She sat indian style on the cliff overlooking...well technically herself and sighed. "Is loneliness ever a good enough reason, young percy i have been asleep so long, mortals now number in the billions all over the wide plane of kay pacha and they now think me and my slumbering brethren are mere fables." Percy felt the goddese's sadness so strongly it almost made him tear up, she was old and strong, but even gods had emotions and could get lonely. "I call to the sun for my child Inti and i fear he to may be asleep far from me,... So far from my arms." She stood tall her tears flowing freely. "I know little of the other pantheons but i have met your sire only a handful of times, poseidon is the side of him that you call your father i believe." Percy froze in confusion. How had she known he didn't make a single mention of his godly parentage before, and then again she knew a lot about him from just looking deep into what he was. "I'm sorry, i can't imagine what it must be like with no one here to greet you with open arms and a hug." It was the goddess's turn to feel sadness coming from percy as he remembered the faces of all the campers had seen fall in battle, all the ones he wasn't there to fight alongside, he took each one as a personal failure, and used it as a fire that drove him into battle blade in hand. His shift from a calm see to a terrifying maelstrom was jarring to his camp mates, and its why every monster feared the green eyed demon. "For sadness to drive one so kind makes this old goddesses heart weak." She reached uo and touched his face, the calming sensation washed over percy. It was like a whirlpool of sadness was always there in him since annabeth only widening with his realisation of how weak it made him, yet her touch was calming and it ripped away a portion of the sadness. "Um sorry i didn't realise...probably dont want a blubbering champion." He wiped his eyes of the salty tears that threatened to spill down his tanned cheeks and finally she let him touch ground. "My champion your emotions are what pull your overwhelming power and half godly influence to the surface, do not fear them as all living beings feel them and like you it pushes them in every direction they choose to swim, like an everflowing current, which brings us to the reason you are here." She waved her hands and in a flash they were gone, his dream like body wisped away to the rocky shores below they reappeared on a large stone hill jutting out just above the water. "You may not have the blood of an incan hero like Manco Cápac or his descendants, but you will learn just the same."

She raised her head to the sky and closed her eyes and around them the water shot up into the air with the force of a charging rhino, she drew her finger through the air and whatever rock or patch of earth she shot it at was completely destroyed or cut clean in half by the pressure of the water. "You know the sea may wipe away the land and that its storm may cast aside even the mightiest of vessels." She dropped her hand and the water slammed down with an overwhelming force from right above them, Percy flinched even though he couldn't be harmed by it even when he was in the waking world. "But have you truly seen how the ocean provides for the land and those who walk upon its shores, for those who cast their nets into the seas in hopes of nourishment," She drew up her arms and whipped the sea before them into a frenzied maelstrom and out of it poured leagues and schools of fish and glowing golden water. "Your mortal brethren may have forgotten to show the ocean it due respect, but you will know the life it gives, the life you may give to those who need its help." An enormous pirarucu fish landed at his feet flopping around but not resisting the goddesses call, for it knew its place in this cycle of life, a sacrifice to something greater so life may move on. "Thats alot of fish." Percy exclaimed dully as he saw even more rain down from the mass of water geysering up around him. {Hah take that Roland Emmerich i made that line better, if you don't get it watch 1998 zilla and feel the hate with me.} "My numerous children follow the cycle of life and return their essence to the heavens when they are ready to pass on, as we all do in the end." She picked up the enormous fish and its scales melted away, and it cooked before his eyes. "For your mortal sensibilities." she adde like a grandmother cutting the crust off of a tuna sandwich for him. Percy grabbed the cooked fish and took a whiff of the steaming amazon delicacy, it reminded him of the time he and his father cooked fish by campfire when the titan war had ended, He took a large chunk out with a ferocious bite and chewed slowly savoring the heavenly smoked flavor. "THANK YOUR." he mumbled with his mouth full. Mama Cocha smiled, he was like a child even in the presence of a primordial like herself, he had no idea how fearless yet childlike he seemed wolfing down her cooked meal filled with the healing strength of the ocean. Percy was to busy chowing down to notice his scars disappearing, reminders of countless battles and vicious attacks gone in an instant mending together to form even harder steel like muscle. His body in artemis' temple gained it full lively colour back as his body began to glow a deep blue and sea green mixed together, and his muscles expanded slightly filled with a new strength and durability. "Man..gulp..that's one good cooked fish."He wiped his hands on his see through ghostly shorts, only to realise the futility. "My compliments to the ch…..Mama Cocha?" Where she stood was instead a wet patch of rock, but he heard her calming voice in his mind. "Your friends wait for you in the waking world my champion, and they do seem distressed, return to me once you have explored your new gifts." As he began to speak the sound would not come out as he wa suddenly rocketed through the air being pulled back in the direction from which his dreamself originated. One thought struck him before he awoke, and it filled him with a deep primal fear. Wait...what friends is she talking abo...OH GOD NOT THIS AGAIN THEY JUST HEALED MY CHEEEEEEEEEKS!"

And with a jolt he was awake, oh dear god's he was awake, and of course not alone. Surrounding him was a hunter of every shape and size, as well as varying degrees of murderous intent present in their glares of death. And right when he was losing the fear of very much recognised the first hunter and her friend as the bath buddies from earlier that week. The tallest of the two spoke first. "Male dog, by what right do you enter this sanctuary of woman hood." {that's what she said} He heard several knives being drawn as well as bows being brought the ready. "ARTEMIS LET ME IN, ARTEMIS LET ME IN I SWEAR TO ZEU…..POSEIDON!" Thanks brain didn't want thunder daddy seeing me in torn up clothes on his daughters couch, that honestly was gonna have some weird stains for the foreseeable future. The shorter hunter spoke next "Pincushion his male ass!" And they did make the honest attempt to do so as dozens of arrows twanged loose, but in the next instant a bright flash of light made almost every arrow instantly combust. Almost every arrow. Artemis stood their glowing silver under the moonlight staring down at her hunters scowling. "Would anyone care to explain why you have attacked the only male i have deemed worthy to enter my temple while i am present?" Her eyes glowed a radiant silver to emphasize her displeasure with the situation. Which Percy honestly found very hot, sew him he dug chicks glowing with god fire. "She turned to percy and began to speak. "Now Perceus please explain why you." Her face took on a shocked appearance as she noticed his newfound muscles and glowing appearance that only she could see, she also noticed that his buldge had grown slightly. Her first thought was to teleport to her temple in greece and try this new power of his out. Her face changed as she saw he also had and arrow barely imbedded in the skin of his left leg, damn was his dick that distracting. "PERCY!" he snapped out of spaced out state and dumbly replied. "Yes, I mean yes Lady Artemis." He quickly righted himself and felt a slight pinch in his thigh. Looking down he saw the gleaming shaft {no the other one} and gawked, that should realy be painful. As he reached down he gripped the shaft {NO THE OTHER ONE} and gave a little tug it popped out like a splinter, not even a drop of blood. He looked up at the suprised stares of the hunter and smiled, he shouted at them "HA, THE FISH GAVE ME SUPERSKIN, EAT IT!" Artemis just stared at the moon and silently prayed. "Please let him get smarter, just a little bit."
