Simon and Clary quickly began to walk down the hallway the group of boys said to take, keeping their eyes peeled for the huge double doors of the advisory committee. After passing a few more snack machines, many of them Clary had to drag Simon away from, and what looked like a teacher lounge they came across two giant redwood double doors with the letters A carved on one door and C carved into the other.
"you think this is the place?" Simon asked as he admired the doors and the golden slinder handels.
"only one way to find out." Clary sighed as she grabbed one of the handel's and pushed open one of the large doors revealing a huge room filled with teachers and assistants running around trying to file all the paperwork strewn all across the ballroom sized room. It seemed like every desk in the room was filled with mountains of mountains of papers around the room filed away for the year. The teens were about to turn and leave until they heard someone greet them.
"Oh my, hello, what brings you two here to this choas" a teacher with long red hair, sea blue eyes, and a unbelievable amount of papers in her hands asked.
"Oh we were told to come here to get set up for the school year" Clary said awkwardly as the teacher went into a deep look of thought before looking at the two teenagers with excitement.
"You two must be the transfers from New York ive heard so much about, here come with me ill help get you guys booked, filed and off to your first class of your school year!" The teacher said with a smile as she walked the two through the choas that was the advisory committee to a small desk that had a apple computer surrounded by picture frames. The teacher set all the paperwork down on the desk then sat down on the black spinny chair as she motioned for the kids to grab some near by chairs and sit on the side of her desk. Soon the teacher quickly pulled out a hidden mini desk from under the main desk that had a white wireless apple keyboard and mouse, her delicate fingers seemed to glide over the keys as she quickly logged into her computer before turning her attention back to the teens. "OK lets get you guys set up, by the way sorry about the choas i promise we are WAY more organized than this later in the school year"
"Its ok it would be surprising if you guys were really organized on the frist few days of school" Clary said as the teacher chuckled and Simon looked down at the ground, studying the shaggy dark blue carpet as if it was a new specie's of animal.
"Very true, anyway can i have your guy's names please"
"Oh im Clarissa Fray and he is Simon Lewis" the teacher quickly pulled up the student roster and typed in there names. The teacher quickly found their files and clicked on them before she printed out there schedule's. They came out of the printer on her desk a few minutes later.
"Alright here are your guy's schedule's, looks like i have you both for 3rd period." The teacher said as she handed the two their schedule sheets " im Mrs.Heart by the way, Kairi Heart"
"Thank you so much Mrs.Heart, the guard by the fence also told us we'd get our student ID's and our tour guides while we we're here."
"Thats right i almost forgot, just a second you guys" Kairi exclaimed as she began to print the teens student ID's in the card printer and pushed a small button on her desk phone before speaking into the reciver "Liz and Patty Tompson will you please come to the advisory committee, i repeat Liz and Patty tompson to the advisory committee thank you" Mrs Hearts voice rang over the big almost surround sound speakers making Simon jump at the sudden loud noise. After Mrs.Heart hung up the phone she got up and walked off towards the card printer, grabbing the teens cards, then handing them their cards with a soft smile.
"does this school have busses by any chance, because my mom can't drive us to and from school every day?" Simon asked queitly finding his voice.
"Yes we do actually but they aren't set up until Friday so tommorow you should be getting your bus schedules" Mrs. heart explained with a soft and gentle smile. Suddenly there was a soft creak of the advisory committee doors being opened, the soft click of them being shut again then the sound of footsteps coming towards the group.
"You wanted to see us Mrs. Heart" a tall auburn haired girl said. The tall girl was wearing a pair of jeans, a cowgirl like hat and boots and a crop top. The girl that was next to her was shorter than the first girl and had bright blonde hair and wore jean shorts, a cowgirl like hat, some boots and a crop top.
"yes girls, these two are Simon Lewis and Clarissa Fray, they are transfer students from New York City and they are also going to be your guy's guideies" Mrs. Heart explained as simon and Clary waved at the two shyly. The girls knodded towards the two as a subly hello. "Alright you guys just stick with them for the next week or so and they'll show you how the school works and where everything is, have fun guys!" Mrs. Heart exclaimed as Clary and Simon got up from there seats while the two girls waved goodbye to Mrs. Heart and began to lead the two other teens out of the advisory committee doors to explore the school that would be both hell and a safe haven for the unexpecting New Yorkers.
