Chapter Six
"...Now, are you going to calm back down and stop trying to kill Scooter or am I going to have to throw you into the wall again?" Maya growled out with great irritation, having watched Naruto chase the poor man around the garage with the intent to kill the mechanic once he got his hands on him for a full ten minutes before getting fed up with the blonde's behaviour and completely immobilizing him and restraining him with a simple Phaselock, her eyes and tattoos glowing a faint blue while Naruto was suspended a couple feet off the ground by the translucent orb of intangible dark indigo energy that made up Maya's Phaselock power, a small four-inch diameter orb of similar energy hovering in front of her open and outstretched left hand.
"..." Naruto, sore from being thrown against the wall the first time, simply turned his head away from the blue haired woman and Scooter, the second of them standing behind the Siren for protection, with an annoyed scowl on his face. Easily managing to land on his feet as Maya released him and let her power fade away for the time being, Naruto took a moment to straighten and smooth out non-existent creases in his clothing before stuffing his hands in his pockets and shuffling over towards the thing that now replaced his 'baby'. Turning his head to the side a little, Naruto reluctantly asked the one 'blasphemous' question that had been nagging at the back of his mind since the cruel mockery of his old truck was revealed. "Scooter. What'd you put in it?"
"I-I've been working on th-the n-new designs since you last visited and was just barely able to f-finish it all about seventy-two hours ago, I guess. The new engine was roughly based off of the engine of a strange and heavily armored APC-like vehicle that I had come across a few months back while I was out in the Dust visiting my sister." Scooter started explaining, stuttering a little at first since it had been the first time he had both seen and experienced his best customer's wrath, though he was lucky to have been saved by the Siren he had met a few years back when Handsome Jack was still alive. Thankfully, the more Scooter kept talking, the more he started to calm down as he focused on the truck he had personally designed and built to replace Naruto's old one after managing to convince Reina to let him take the truck off her hands, which hadn't exactly been easy to do. "It runs on four industrial-grade Hyperion power cells instead of any kind of conventional fuel you'll find on Pandora and it has almost twice the amount of power packed into every cubic inch of it than your old truck ever did, but it isn't that much faster than the original. The armor plating is a composite of my own design that can withstand nearly fifty percent more punishment than your old truck could while every square inch of the armor's surface has been coated with a very powerful neutralizing agent, also of my own design, that counteracts every kind of corrosive acid that I could get my hands on while I was still working on the formula for it."
"Hold on. You mean to tell me that you made an armored vehicle that is resistant to virtually all corrosive weapons?" Maya suddenly cut in, an incredulous look on her face as she and Scooter walked over to the truck, though Scooter made sure to keep Maya between him and Naruto at all times. Glancing over at the mechanic with a cocked eye brow and an unconvinced grimace, Maya continued. "I'm sorry, Scooter, but I refuse to believe that until you prove that this special formula of yours actually works right in front of me."
"...Okay." Scooter commented with a casual shrug of his shoulders before turning around and walking away until he was about ten or twelve feet away from the truck with his back to it. Then, without warning, the rather crazy and stupidly intelligent mechanic reached behind his waist as he spun around a little quicker than either Naruto and Maya had originally assumed he could move, causing a Corrosive-element Maliwan Torment pistol to digistruct into his hand as he selected it from a storage device horizontally attached to his belt behind his right hip that had previously been hidden under his oil, grease, and grime smeared button-up work shirt. Without wasting a single moment, Scooter showed a once-hidden level of skill with a gun as he took aim and opened fire all across the driver's side of the truck until the pistol clicked empty after a dozen and a half shots.
"Hmm...Although you completely fucked up my truck, I have to admit that you really outdid yourself this time, Scooter." Naruto praised flatly as he approached the truck's driver side to examine the potential damage done to the armor paneling. He was moderately impressed with Scooter's talent in armor-crafting as he watched the thick and viscous sickly green acid sizzle and hiss as it slowly started to drip down towards the ground as gravity took hold of the liquid. What it left behind, however, left Naruto honestly surprised and even a little stumped; the only damage the acid had caused was some of the paint to boil and melt off with a very minor, almost negligable, amount of actual damage done to the armor itself. The bullets that had accompanied the acid, however, were missing, having ricocheted off the metal paneling on contact and shot off to...somewhere...in the garage. Luckily, they didn't hit anything dangerous.
"Whoa..." Was all Maya could say, hastily backing up as some of the acid she was staring at dripped onto the diamond-plate flooring only a few inches away from her feet, the fluid hissing and steaming as it started eating away at some of the metal, but it had lost a great deal of its potency due to the 'neutralizing agent' Scooter had made and applied to the truck's armor.
"Now that that's settled, on with the lesson!" Scooter cheered before walking over to one of the front tires and leaning against the side of the truck while gesturing to the tire beside him. "I managed to call in a favor with a buddy of mine that used to make the tires for the Crimson Lance's Lancer APCs. Surprisingly, the factory he worked at still runs and he was able to put these babies together; each tire is made of kevlar-infused rubber with numerous layers of titanium-steel cables reinforcing the entire thing, but since they're completely solid, they don't have an inner-tube in them. Because of that, you don't ever have to worry about them going flat on you, but they don't really make for a smooth ride. So, to help out with that, I got to calling a bunch of parts dealers and searching through countless catalogs before I managed to come across the toughest and strongest suspension system and shocks that money could ever buy, but it was too big for your old truck, Naruto. That's why I made it bigger than it used to be and it even worked out pretty well in the end when it came to putting the engine in. I remembered how Reina had mentioned something about the engine's supporting framework busting in the crash, so I took the liberty of filling in all of that extra space by reinforcing the entire engine housing to keep something like that from happening again."
"I get the idea, Scooter, so you can quit with the explanations. Even without your little stories about what you had to go through, it's quite obvious that you worked really hard to get this thing put together. I'll throw a little extra cash your way later, off the books, when we get around to the cost for everything...and you better not try over-pricing everything like you tried to get past me the last time I was here." Naruto commented while stepping up on the foot-rail running along the bottom of the truck's chassis between the front and rear tires on either side before opening the driver side door, noticing how the hinges had been moved so that the door opened up at a fourty-five degree angle instead of just straight up like it was before. That was when Naruto noticed something a little unusual about the rear vertical section of the door frame, having had some kind of handle built into the section of dense metals.
Glancing around the area directly behind the door frame, Naruto noticed that there was a narrow gap running through the armor paneling in the rough shape of a simple rectangular armored door with two hinges on the rear-most edge of it and no window. Raising an eye brow curiously, Naruto hooked his fingers around the sunken in handle and pulled on it, only mildly surprised when the secondary door opened out and back towards the rear of the truck, the completely opposite direction of most other automotive doors. Ignoring the new set of doors his truck was equipped with, Naruto examined the interior of the truck. The entire floor of the cab was made of a pitch black rubber-vinyl composite material that looked and felt like it was completely weather-resistent and designed to be quick and easy to clean.
The dashboard and center console were made of metal that had been sanded down and painted to match the truck's exterior paint job, the solid black metal gear shift sticking up out of the rather wide-set center console within reach of the driver with the end adorned with a custom-made knob that looked like a six-shot cylinder of polished chrome from an old fashioned revolver while each of the six bullets were painted a non-reflective pitch black with a single dot of polished chrome in the very center of each bullet casing's base where the firing pin would have hit each of them. The cab was occupied by a full-length bench-seat in the front with two adjustable head rests and a one foot long and four inch deep indention in the front edge of the seat in the exact middle of the bench where it sat directly over the top of the center console, giving the gear shift plenty of space to move around when changing gears.
Both of the bench-seats were well cushioned and covered in moderately soft and rather comfortable black and grey camouflage upholstery with pure white stitching along the seams, a hidden compartment built into the floor in front of the front passenger seat along with a unique mag-lock gun rack designed for a rifle of just about any make and model mounted to the rear windshield just above the three adjustable head rests to the rear bench-seat. Glancing up at the cab's ceiling, Naruto discovered that it was covered in the same kind of black and grey camouflage material as the benches while casting another glance at the doors notified him that the interior of all four doors were made of metal that had been sanded down so that it was almost perfectly smooth and painted in the same black and grey camouflage scheme as the dashboard and center console.
"You really put a lot of detail into the interior, Scooter. I really like the knob on the gear shift and the gun rack you put in the back of the cab." Naruto praised once more while Maya quietly watched from her spot near Scooter, who was starting to get flustered and embarrassed by the praise, having finally rid himself of the fear that had gripped him earlier when Naruto flew into a rage over the, in Naruto's exact words, 'brutal and heartless desecration' of his original psuedo-Technical. "You did a nice job."
"Actually, Naruto, I didn't have anything to do with the interior." Scooter corrected. "That was all done by my cousin, Keira. I, uh...I kind of suspected that you'd be really mad about me changing your truck so much and since Keira's specialty is designing and installing interiors in vehicles of all sorts, I asked her to do the inside of the cab and even paid her a little extra to make sure that it was all done right. By the way, I am sorry about not getting the go-ahead from you before I started rebuilding your truck."
"...You're really lucky, you know that, Scooter? I still haven't found a better mechanic than you anywhere within a thousand kilometers of this place." Naruto responded as he stepped off the foot-rail and shut the doors to the cab before making his way to the back of the truck. Catching a glimpse of the sheepish grin the man had on his face out of the corner of his eye, Naruto pulled on the handles set in the middle of the two doors that were painted in a black and grey camouflage color scheme on the outside like the rest of the truck while they were just solid black all throughout the inside of the enclosed truck bed and opened the two armored metal doors to see the inside of the covered truck bed, noticing how there were a few metal handle bars mounted to the ceiling of the armored cover with enough space inside for several people to hunker down in with just a little less than five feet of clearance due to the armored cover permanently mounted to the truck's frame. "While I am still quite upset about you changing my truck so much, I won't hold it against you. I was due for a change of transportation, anyways."
"See? I told you that he'd still like it." Maya whispered just loud enough for Scooter to hear, having seen the finished product just a couple standard days before Naruto stopped by her apartment. Heaving a sigh of relief now that he knew Naruto was actually impressed by the massive truck, Scooter decided to get back to informing Naruto of the attachments that he had installed into it while Naruto shut both of the rear doors.
"I know you noticed these weird little tubes earlier, but couldn't figure out what they were, right?" Scooter asked as he walked over to the side of the truck bed where half of the four dozen tubes were mounted. Getting a momentary confirmation from Naruto, Scooter continued. "Well, they used to be a side-project prototype a business partner of mine had been messing around with in his spare time and when he found out that I was building a new vehicle, he worked as fast as he could to finish the designs and send them to me for the necessary parts to either be ordered or to be fabricated using the workshop in the back."
"That's all well and good, but what are they, Scooter? What do they do?" Naruto asked with a faint touch of annoyance in his tone, wishing that Scooter just got to the point instead of explaining everything all the time. Why was it only him that had to deal with the not-so-stupid side of Scooter?
"Alright, alright! I'll tell you. Just keep your panties on." Scooter answered, a little disappointed that he couldn't just talk. It was always business and only business with Naruto, but he couldn't really complain since Naruto had been coming to his shop for the past seven or eight years. "They're specially designed rocket launchers that fire a single self-targeting homing rocket from each tube. Now, in order for the self-targeting equipment to be put in to the rockets, we had to use less explosives to make it all fit together. Thus, we encountered a problem; they didn't pack enough of a punch to cause any serious damage to other vehicles or anything. That was when we found out that they didn't cost very much at all to build, they didn't take a lot of materials to make, and they took up only a small amount of space, so we decided to rig a handful of them together and see what happened. The end results were quite nice and I even made it so that the metal plates they're mounted to right now could roll over and hide them from sight just in case you need something to surprise an enemy with, you know? Anyways, Naruto, I need to tell you about a very important piece of information about this truck's weaponry. Unlike the old one, I managed to rig up a digistructing storage device to each weapon instead of hooking them up to ammo boxes like I would usually do to both save space and increase the maximum ammo capacity of each of the truck's weapons. It also makes reloading them a lot easier, too, since all you got to do is remove the empty storage device, fill it back up with the proper ammunition, and stick it back in; simple as that. Neat, huh?"
"Like I said earlier; there isn't a better mechanic within a thousand kilometers of this place." Naruto reiterated as he turned around and nodded up at the turret on top of the truck. Although he didn't mention it, Naruto had a feeling that both the turret and the engine had been based off of a Guardsmen Praetorian APC, but he couldn't actually prove it at the moment and even if he could, it wouldn't do any good. Besides, this new truck just might be better and tougher than even a Praetorian. "But what's up with the turret? I didn't see a gunner's chair or anything in there, so how does it work?"
"Ah, that was something else I had been working on recently. It's fully automated using an advanced IFF (Identify Friend/Foe) system of some kind that I salvaged from that weird vehicle I mentioned earlier. From what I was told when I took it in to get checked out, it's constantly being updated via satellite uplink every couple minutes with real-time information that keeps it from targeting friendly drivers. It's a really advanced piece of hardware." Scooter responded while rubbing the back of his neck as he stared up at the quad-barreled turret. "I had to order custom-made bullets for it, though, since there isn't a single store I know of on Pandora that sells anything even close to the right caliber bullet that's needed for the turret. Luckily, I found a couple unused rounds near the wrecked vehicle and sent them off to my ammo and weapons supplier for the vehicles I fix up and build. He's an expert with ballistics and can make any kind of bullet you could possibly imagine. Anyways, I ordered plenty of them ahead of time for you, but it'll be at least a week before they come in. Is that alright?"
"Yeah, that's fine. Is there anything else that I need to know right now? There's a few things I still have to do today." Naruto agreed and then urged. Thinking about it for a moment, Scooter shook his head negatively. "Good. Now, what happened to the machines I had in the back of the old truck and the black duffel bag that had been with them? I also need the rest of the supplies and items that I had in the truck."
"Those weird robots of yours are in the back room where I store all of my over-stocked parts. Everything else is back in my office." Scooter directed before leading Naruto to the aforementioned areas to gather his things.
"One last thing, Scooter. The new truck is far too different now for it to still be considered a Technical, so what did you decided to call it?" Naruto asked curiously as they made their way to the office first. Scooter suddenly flashed him a broad grin of pride.
"I call it...The Titan." Scooter answered with a momentary pause just for dramatic effect...
xXx
"How the hell is it possible that there are so many things about the Titan that it needs a manual a foot-fucking-thick?!" Naruto hissed out in disbelief as he stared down at the unnaturally thick paper-back manual in his hands before tossing it back in his truck and shutting the door, walking away moments later. After loading Spaz and Taz into the back along with most of his other stuff, Naruto had backed his Titan out of Scooter's garage and parked it off to the side of the circular cul-de-sac that sat right out in front of the shop near Sanctuary's main front gate. With his only his face mask pulled up over his nose to cover his face, Naruto continued to grumble and complain under his breath as he entered Marcus Kincaid's store while Maya had headed off somewhere else to restock her own supplies with plans to meet back up at his truck in an hour. "Oi! Cheapskate!"
"Damn it, boy! Stop calling me that!" Marcus bellowed from around the corner behind the barred off counter, stepping out from a back room just as Naruto reached the base of the staircase leading down into his store. "You've got to have balls of steel to call me that after I had worked so hard to find that gun you wanted."
"Well, it's true. You're cheap and you never pay a fair price for anything. Hell, most of your damn guns are way over-priced, too!" Naruto growled out as he put his hands on the edge of the counter and leaned forward, giving the licensed arms dealer a flat look. Scowling, Marcus set his left elbow down on the counter on his side of the bars and leaned forward a little himself, the two engaging in a staring contest like they always did when they ran into each other. Nine out of ten times, it had always been Marcus that won in the end with their longest average time staying around five minutes, but the merchant of guns saw something in Naruto's eyes that he had never seen before.
"Hmph. Cocky brat. Wait here while I go get your merchandise." Marcus muttered as he smirked with a snort and broke eye contact after only a minute and a half, something that caught Naruto off guard. Kincaid had never backed down so easily in the past, so why would he start now? Reappearing from the back room a few minutes later, Marcus set down the plain-looking metal rifle case on the counter and undid the latches before turning it around and lifting the lid for Naruto to confirm that it was the right gun. "Do you know how hard it is to find an old twelve-shot Jakobs shotgun, let alone a twelve-shot Jakobs shotgun like this one? Anyways, is this the one you were looking for?"
"Yeah...That's the one." Naruto responded in a mildly dazed state as he stared at the rifle. It was shaped like most of Jakobs other older shotguns, ones that hadn't been manufactured since Handsome Jack came to Pandora and changed the gun market completely. In Naruto's opinion, the man only fucked everything up. The older weapons were sturdier and more reliable, but more expensive. The newer ones were irritating, to say the least, for one reason or another. Sitting in the form cut-out that filled the case's top and bottom halves to better protect the rifle it held was a Jakobs Striker lever-action shotgun with a twelve-shell drum-like revolving cylinder that was permanently attached to the rifle and designed to split where the stock and barrel met while the twelve-shot cylinder opened up completely not unlike some types of old revolvers. The entire rifle was colored an earthy reddish brown with intricate polished silver designs embedded in the wood all throughout its length with a basic gun-metal grey barrel while thin metal plates of polished silver were mounted to the sides of the stock just above the spot where the trigger sat, the drum-like cylinder colored similarly. Naruto looked up at Marcus as the man shut the close and pressed the latches down to lock them in place. "How much?"
"Two hundred." The greedy man responded without a single moment of hesitation. They entered yet another of their staring contests and once more, Marcus was finding it a little harder to look the blonde in the eye than he remembered it being.
"One hundred." Naruto countered, his eyes narrowing slightly since he had a feeling that he might be leaving the store with an irritating headache after they finished their business with each other.
"Two hundred." Marcus growled out quietly as he leaned in closer, which Naruto mirrored until their faces were nearly touching the bars that separated them.
"Ninety." Naruto renegotiated, dropping the price since he knew Marcus couldn't afford to not sell the rifle to him and that Marcus needed to sell it for at least ninety to break even. Not many people wanted any of the older weapons anymore and as powerful of a shotgun as it is, it was also a one-of-a-kind classic with an expensive price tag attached to it. Luckily, due to supply and demand, Naruto knew Marcus couldn't sell it for its true value since most of his customers wanted the newest of weapons that he had in stock.
"No way! I can't do ninety! That's too low!" Marcus snarled while smashing his fist on the counter, still holding eye contact with the blonde. Naruto merely narrowed his eyes a fraction more. "One-fifty!"
"One hundred. No more." Naruto quietly hissed out through gnashed teeth, oblivious to how his irises had flickered from blue to red for only a split second, but it had been enough to throw Marcus off his game. Gritting his teeth as he glared at the cheeky little asshole that had been hounding him for years for older weapons, Marcus knew that Naruto knew that he needed to sell the rifle right then to make any kind of profit off of it, if not just barely breaking even from the costs of searching for it and obtaining it.
"...One-fourty." The dealer stated firmly.
"One hundred." Naruto repeated yet again. "Take it or leave it, Marcus. You know just as well as I do that no one else is going to buy that thing from you; not at your prices."
"...I'm going to shoot you one of these days, Naruto." Marcus warned quietly before slowly leaning back and slipping his right hand between two of the bars, not looking all too pleased with the outcome. "Fine. One hundred. Deal?"
"Deal." Naruto repeated in agreement as he shook the man's hand. He had to admit that while Marcus was always a bit shady when it came to prices, the man was still a reliable and honest businessman. As their hands broke apart, Naruto waved his right hand over his left storage device, withdrawing the proper funds to pay for the shotgun, setting the stack of bills on the counter. "One hundred thousand dollars, as we agreed upon."
"Just take your gun and get out of here, boy." Marcus growled as he shoved the gun case across the counter over to Naruto while the blonde calmly slid the stack of money over to Marcus. "I'm tired of looking at your ugly face."
"Same here, Marcus." Naruto retorted before he turned around and started heading back up the stairs. "Until next time, Marcus."
"Hmph..." Marcus Kincaid snorted with disdain, but also with respect for the blonde's constitution and determination as he pushed away from the counter and headed back to his office to put the money away. As Naruto headed towards the nearest Ammo Dump vendor to top off his ammo supply, the blonde remained oblivious of the person watching him from the shadows of an alley...
xXx
"Did you find a job request?" Maya inquired as she climbed into the Titan, the door slamming shut beside her as she glanced over at Naruto, who had already been waiting in the driver's seat and flipping through the manual to pass the time. Putting the key in the ignition and twisting it, Naruto was satisfied to hear the guttural bellow and snarl of the engine turning over, letting it idle for a moment before shifting into first gear and crawling towards the front gate. As he waited for the gate to lower, he answered Maya's question.
"Well, I got in touch with an associate of mine and they asked if we'd investigate something strange going on out in the Dead Sands region. Whether it turns out to be a bullshit wild goose chase or not, we still get paid in the end and it won't be pocket change either." Naruto commented casually while pulling out of Sanctuary. After almost a half hour of driving in a somewhat comfortable silence, he cast a side-long glance at her out of the corner of his eye. "I'm pretty you already know this, but it's going to be a long ride, so go ahead and take a nap if you want. I'll do my best not to drive too crazy, okay?"
"That actually doesn't sound too bad. I think I might just do that." Maya agreed with a small appreciative smile before lying down across the bench-seat, resting her head in Naruto's lap. Thankful that his mask was pulled up to hide the faint blush on his cheeks, Naruto kept his right arm draped across the top of the bench with his left elbow propped on the door at the bottom of the window while his left hand kept the steering wheel steady. He nearly lost it when Maya let out a quiet moan and nuzzled his thigh with her cheek about ten minutes later, but he was just barely able to keep himself under control; except for one thing.
'She's got to be doing this on purpose...No one can fall asleep THAT fast.' Naruto mentally growled with a look of mild annoyance on his face, glaring straight ahead at the tundra he was busy navigating through. His left eye started twitching slightly when Maya moved her head ever so slightly, his member slowly hardening and swelling directly under her head as just enough pressure was put on it to make it rather torturous for him. He couldn't even move without being tormented by it. Oh, he was soo tempted to just pull over and take her in the back seat right then and there, but he forced himself not to, deciding to hold off at least until they stopped to set up camp somewhere. He could wait a few more hours...
Hopefully...
Even without a radio, the hours just seemed to fly by for Naruto while Maya had finally fallen asleep for real along the way. It wasn't until he had crossed over from the snowy tundra of the Frozen Wastes into the dune seas of the Dead Sands that he decided to find a place to stop for some rest. Driving over to a large plateau as dusk finally started to set in, he spotted a big enough cave in the side of its rocky cliff face before pulling into it. Glancing down at Maya, Naruto smiled slightly upon seeing the peaceful look on her face, gently brushing the back of his fingers across her cheek.
"Mmm..." Quietly moaning, Maya stirred slightly and curled up a little, nuzzling Naruto's leg again. Rolling his eyes and smirking, Naruto turned slightly and pulled the head rests off the top of the bench-seat, leaving them on the floor on the front passenger side where Maya had kicked her shoes off earlier. He then carefully leaned forward so that he didn't disturb the slumbering woman before grabbing a lever under the seat, causing the back of the bench-seat to fold back and form a perfectly flat make-shift bed that spanned the majority of the cab. When he tried to move Maya further up to be more comfortable, however, the woman woke up with a slight groan, sitting up with her legs tucked under her while she supported herself with her left arm and gave Naruto a sleepy look. "Mm...Where are we?"
"Currently parked in a cave in the Dead Sands near the Frozen Wastes border." Naruto informed while reaching over and lightly caressing her cheek and neck, making Maya close her eyes and smile as she leaned into his hand a little. Kissing his palm, Maya slowly opened her eyes and looked at Naruto, smiling warmly as she leaned her head into his hand more, getting a smile in return from the blonde. "You slept through almost the entire ride here."
"Yeah, I guess I did." She whispered quietly while moving closer to him and lying down beside him, cuddling up against his side. Thankful that Naruto had left all of his weapons and armor in the back of the cab on the floor before they left, Maya smiled a little more contently as she laid her head on his chest with an arm draped over his stomach. Yawning tiredly, Maya let her eyes close and nuzzled his chest. "Mm...I'm still sleepy..."
"Might as well get as much rest while you can. Tomorrow is going to be a long day." Naruto suggested before lifting his head to kiss Maya on top of her own head.
"Hm...G'night..." Maya mumbled as Naruto's heart beat started to lull her back asleep, using her lover's chest for a pillow. As another small genuine smile formed on his face, Naruto wrapped an arm around her and let his hand rest on her hip.
"Good night." Naruto quietly returned as he let his eyes close in order to get some sleep himself. However, Maya mumbled something else a moment later that honestly shocked him to the core. He didn't know if it was because she wasn't thinking clearly due to her being so tired or if it was an honest statement, but either way, it would plague him for hours, keeping him from falling asleep...
"Love you..." Maya mumbled quietly as she curled up a little and cuddled closer to him, quickly falling into a deep sleep within seconds of her saying those two words...

A/N: I'm sure some you readers noticed that I had an X instead of a name for the Jakobs shotgun. Well, that was because I couldn't remember the name of it at the time and then forgot to look it up. Well, I fixed that. Sorry for the delay. Anyways, thanks for reading and stay tuned for Chapter Seven of Blood and Bullets.
