I got up at 6 sharp and was driven alone to the school for a psychology lecture. Dick brought me a breakfast sandwich before first period and I hungrily bit down.

"Man I was starving. Alfred offered me breakfast before I left but I didn't think I'd be hungry."

"Well, you'll have to return the favor tomorrow morning. Dr. Alfulstein is giving his lecture to the master classes tomorrow morning. And you had it easy; I have to get here at 5."

"Poor boy." I giggled, walking toward my first class as the bell rang.

Rin had moved to the seat next to me, although how he convinced Dr. Herman was beyond me. Stacy still sat to my left and she was talking animatedly with him.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late."

"How did the lecture go?" he asked.

"Good, learned a lot. My hand is sore from all the notes but he really knows what he's talking about. I'd love to get to meet him personally and ask a few questions."

"Maybe you can. You know your Dad could get anyone from anywhere." Stacy pulled out a compact and touched up her lip gloss.

Courtney ran in the classroom a second before the bell rang and took her seat behind us.

We began the lesson, but the real interest was the furious note-passing that presumed after.

Courtney shoved a note over my shoulder and I quickly read it in my lap.

Your brother said to see him between classes next period.

Did he say why? I replied, giving her the note when our teacher wasn't looking.

No, but he said it was important.

If it was a mission, I should have gotten an emergency text. Maybe it was a mission for tonight?

I refocused my attention on the lesson, but Rin tracing circles on my leg just under the hem of my skirt distracted me. We left class and I waited for Dick, Rin insisting to wait with me.

"What's wrong?" I asked as he ran up.

"Long story, we need to go."

"Oh, okay. Bye Rin, I'll see you later."

"What, you're just leaving?"

"I have to, it's an emergency."

"But, are you coming back?"

"I don't know. I'll see you around." I waved and followed Dick down the hall. Roy exited a class and fell into step next to us.

"You get the call too?" Roy asked me.

"Yeah, although I don't know what it's about."

"Wait, Roy you're…?" Dick asked as we walked

"Don't act like you're surprised, I know you suspected. How do you think we met?"

Dick didn't respond but muttered quickly. "Something big is happening in downtown Sterling City. Green Arrow called Batman and the he called me. I don't know what but he said to come prepared."

"My mood stabilizer is still in my system, I might not be of any help against fire-wielders."

"That's fine, we'll need your other talents as well." We signed ourselves out in the office and quickly walked down the block to a high-end clothing boutique. We all changed from school uniform to battle suits that had been stashed in our backpacks. Both Dick and Roy summoned motorcycles and we speeded off to downtown.

My ear comm activated and Felicity's voice filled it. "Okay guys, this is pretty serious. There are actually two instances we need to address here. The Arrow and Batman are handling a hostage situation at the courthouse, Kanis has abducted three more judges and is sentencing them to one of his 'trials'. A few blocks away there is some kind of fire at a warehouse but it isn't normal. Firefighters have been there for hours and they say the flames won't extinguish."

"Probably another experiment gone awry, after we bashed them in Gotham they're more than likely trying to improve the process." Dick said, weaving around traffic behind Roy. "Do we know any details?"

"There weren't any civilians inside but the bank camera across the street showed four men entering this morning, but over a dozen men have been coming and going over the last month. I don't know how many are in there right now but they don't look too friendly."

"Thank you Felicity, we'll be alright." Roy pulled off the highway, taking an exit leading straight to the heart of his city.

"Batgirl, I want you to take a cleansing shot. We might need your more unique powers if this turns out to be what I think it is."

"Alright." I took one of the shots off of my belt and jammed it in my thigh, slowly pushing the stopper. Bruce had originally designed them to dispel poison or something we were subjected to by a villain, but it cleansed anything out of the body that wasn't supposed to be there. "We have 15 minutes before I can flare up, though."

"That's fine, we can buy that much."

The flames were thirty feet high, clearing any of the buildings surrounding the blaze. Firefighters were still trying their best but with no luck. We charged in and surveyed the scene in front of us. Three doctors stood trapped on top of a lab table, and two men were tied on top of blazing bonfire. One of the men was obviously dead, hanging limp with the flames devouring him. The other was screaming in pain. I knew this scene well.

"Stay away! Get the doctors to safety and get out of here."

"We're not leaving you alone!"

"You're gonna have to." I stepped through the flames toward the screaming man, trying to calm him. "Hey, I know. I know it hurts but you have to listen to me. You can't fight it. You have to accept it and all the pain will go away."

"They did this to me!" he screamed.

"I know they did this to me too but you have to trust me. If you fight it you'll die."

He regarded me for a moment and then sagged against his bonds. The flames seemed to sing in victory and coiled around him like a snake. His skin glowed and his eyes turned yellow. He took a deep breathe before standing up.

"I feel so, powerful!"

"You have to keep calm." I said.

"Calm? I've never felt so alive!" he ripped off his chains and faced the doctors. "I never knew how great this would be!"

The flames were growing higher and Dick was having trouble getting to the scientists.

"You have to calm down, you don't know what you're dealing with."

"I feel like a god!" he released fire bolts out of his hands, burning the building even further.

"Stop!"

Dick just got the scientists out when the building gave a creak and a groan.

"Never!"

I barely had time to back up before the ceiling caved in. The building crashed around us, and I had to curl up in a ball. I sent an electrical field through my cape and it hardened, forming a protective cocoon around me. Every brick and beam fell from the structure, the fire finally dying out.

"Batgirl, where are you?" Dick sounded desperate on comms, grunting as he moved aside rubble.

"Just east in the main room. There's a beam on my back."

"Hang on, we'll get to you. Do you have the test subject with you?"

"No. I couldn't save him Dick."

"We're coming to you know."

After five minutes, I heard the sound of shifting rubble. A few minutes later they unearthed me. I pulled aside my cape, coughing at the plume of dust surrounding the building.

"Are you okay?" Dick checked me over

"I'm fine. Are the scientists alright?"

"They've all received some nasty burns. They were carried to the hospital but we're not sure if they'll make it." Roy frown, looking worried. "Batman and Green Arrow haven't checked in, but we haven't heard any bad news either."

"I can help there." Felicity said. "No killings yet but their being forced to keep their distance. I can't see why though. It looks like just Kanus."

"If it was just him, Batman would have tranquilized him."

"I don't have any audio and what video I have is really limited. Make sure you guys are careful going in."

"No, Speedy you take Batgirl to Felicity and then meet me there. I don't want you getting hurt again."

"I'm fine, Nightwing. Besides, I can help. The cleanser worked, I can feel it."

"No, you need your rest."

"You can't make me stay." I scowled and ran off for the courthouse.

They had no option but to follow. A large crowd of dressed up people stood outside the courthouse, yelling into their cell phones and balancing briefcases and papers in their hands. A line of police held the media back but they let us through. Batman was nowhere to be seen, but Green Arrow was trying to bargain with Kanus. Taking the hint, me and Nightwing disappeared into the rafters, letting Speedy show his face.

"We've destroyed your little operation up the block, Kanus." Speedy advanced with a drawn bow. "They're all dead, thanks to you. Burned to ashes."

"They knew what they were getting into." He shrugged. "We're all just trying to create a better tomorrow."

"Come on Kanus, let them go and you can get a deal."

"I don't intend to let them go. Do you know what they've done? Let's go down the line. Justice Arganv has released multiple thugs onto the streets after being bribed by their lawyers. Amy Ramsey is a defense attorney here, and has been advising her clients to take plea bargains which ruins their lives just so she doesn't have to deal with their cases in court."

"Have you ever really looked into their cases though? Our prisons are over run, they can't hold any more people. Sometimes justices have to let the small-time criminals go to make room for the more serious threats. And most convicts take plea bargains because they can't afford to go to court."

"That just proves my point further; the system is corrupt. Now tell your little brat to drop his weapon or I start shooting."

"Speedy, it's okay. Lower your weapon."

Green Arrow sounded calm as Dick and I walked through the offices. Batman was still silent, but we were doing pretty good on getting behind Kanus. Nightwing was the first one to get around and we were just about to sneak out and cut the hostages free when Batman stopped us.

"There are bombs strapped to their chairs. If they're moved, the whole place going to be blown apart."

"An EMP?" Dick asked

"Maybe, they're triggered by something Kanus has, probably his cell phone. But you still have to disarm the bombs, the second it comes back online he's going to blow this place."

"I'll disarm, you rescue." I said and he nodded

"EMP activated, you have five minutes. Send the hostages to me in the Justicar's office." Batman confirmed, going silent again.

We snuck around Kanus and Green Arrow inched closer, keep all attention on him. Dick cut the first Justice free and sent him to the back, starting to work on the second. I assessed the first bomb and smiled, I knew this one. I cut two wires and totally separated the explosive from the device. I was only on the second one when Batman warned we had two minutes left.

"I need more time." I grunted, cutting the wires again.

"We don't have any more time. I'm getting the hostages out. Disarm those bombs, Batgirl."

I inwardly groaned and tried to work faster. Green Arrow and Speedy were backing away now, trying to get within range of the door to leave if they had to. Nightwing was positioning himself around Kanus to protect him from a blast. Then Kanus turned around, obviously feeling better since they were backing away. He saw his hostages gone and me kneeling over the bombs he had placed. His mask regarded me placidly, which creeped me out.

"What- how did you- you're not one of Green Arrow's."

"Wow, such a scholar." I assessed, cutting the wires to the last bomb.

"No! You are letting them go free without a trial! You're not the only one with a trick up his sleeve, Green Arrow." He aimed his gun at the side of the room, where a file cabinet stood. It wasn't until too late I saw what was happening. He shot it and it exploded with twice the force the chair bombs would have had. Nightwing swooped down on Kanus, enveloping him in his cape to protect him. The Arrows dove behind a wall to the door, escaping the worse of the damage. But my arm was outstretched, my cape too far away from my hand for me to grab it. I took the full force of it. I was pushed through four walls before just being slammed into a fifth. I felt a pressure push on me from everywhere, but I pushed back with my anger. A shield of flames surrounded me and shielded me from the worst of the hit. The force quit and I fell to the ground. My bad leg throbbed in its brace but I ran back into the courtroom. Kanus was gone, and Nightwing had a bullet hole in his hand. I ran over to him and noticed the bullet had gone clean through.

"I'm sorry." I murmured, holding a burning finger to the hole to cauterize it.

He jerked his hand and screamed in pain, quickly dampening it to a close-lipped grunt. I wrapped his hand and threw his good arm over my shoulder. We headed for the door, greeted by the Arrows on the front steps. No civilians had been hurt but Batman and the hostages were nowhere to be found.

"What happened?" Green Arrow asked, looking at the bandage.

"I shielded Kanus from the blast but the second it was over with he shot me and ran. I don't even know where he went."

"It's alright. We need to get you into an ambulance."

"No, I'm fine. We have everything we need to fix it. The priority right now is to find those hostages." Dick tucked his hand into his belt.

"Let us worry about that." I nodded. "You guys track Kanus. Nightwing, you go to the hospital and check on the scientists. I'll find Batman."

"Fine, be careful." He gave me a look before summoning his motorcycle and riding off.

I ran to the back of the destroyed courthouse, searching for any sign of Batman. He was in the alley behind the building and was crouching with the hostages.

"Batgirl, I need your help. Get the Justices to the police and tell them to put them in protective custody. Bring back a paramedic."

I nodded and waved over the two older men. A few minutes later I returned with a paramedic and a stretcher.

"She took a piece of shrapnel to the abdomen. I removed all of the metal but she's lost a lot of blood."

The paramedic knelt over her and called the rest of his team to him. Batman and I made sure she was alright before climbing in the Batmobile and driving off.

"Status on the scientists?" Bruce called into his comms

"Two of them didn't make it; their burns were just too severe. The female is holding on but it doesn't look good."

"Stay there with her for a while; I'll see if she has any family. Keep a close eye on her, Kanus might come back."

"Will do." He sighed.

Bruce took out his ear wig and spoke softly to me. "I want you to go take over for him, he needs to get that hand looked at. Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired."

"Hopefully we can get someone in to relieve you but I don't know when that will be. You'll just have to be patient."

"I always am." I sighed

He dropped me off at the hospital and I took a seat in the doctor's room. She was unresponsive but she was now expected to make it. I flipped through the television channels, settling on a documentary about the Bermuda Triangle

"How is she?"

"She is still out but she stabilized a few hours ago. They're not sure yet but it's looking better. Any luck finding Kanus?"

"He disappeared. No cameras in the vicinity saw anything, nor did any people. He just vanished."

"Take it from someone who has been with Batman for a while; no one vanishes, they just appear to."

"We're checking the sewer systems, cars that were in the area, air traffic control, anything we can think of but it's going to take some time." Green Arrow pulled out small communicator about the size of a smartphone. "I want your team to have this, you and Nightwing. In case Batman and I are tied up again, I want you and Speedy to be able to communicate without having to go through us or Felicity. We have to go and take care of some things but we'll be by to check in."

"Actually, I'd like to stay here. I want to be here when she wakes up so I can question her." Roy asked

"Fine, I'll check on the damage myself. Keep in touch and shoot straight." He touched his cap before leaving.

"Are you actually staying for business or did you just want to see me?" I winked

He stole a fry. "I figured we haven't gone on a real date and this is as close as we're going to get."

"A hospital room?"

"Hey, it could have been the morgue."

"You really know how to treat a girl."

"Then how about we go on a real date, with no extras this time. Can you do tomorrow night?"

"No, I have patrol in Gotham. What about the night after?"

"No, we have a business meeting at the office I have to go to. What night are you free next week?"

"I have patrol Monday through Wednesday, but I'm free on the weekend."

He sighed. "This is going to be a lot harder than I thought."

"You know we could go…public in a way. Lissa and Roy could develop something. Batman thinks it's a good idea."

"Really?"

"You're a businessman, my dad is a businessman; it makes sense we would meet. Besides, we would be the absolute power couple of the school."

"I'll ask Arrow but I don't see why not. It would be nice to spend some time together without the masks."

"Then what was the opera?"

"I don't like your friend at all. Javrin is too flirty for my taste, but you seem rather fond of him."

I finished off the last bite before I answered. "He's nice, and fun. He's spontaneous which is a nice change from Mr. Structure at home."

"What do you mean by spontaneous?"

"He calls me and asks to go do stuff at random times of the night. He doesn't care what everyone at school thinks of him. He's very different than what I'm used to."

"Sounds like you like him."

"As a friend." I lied smoothly, standing up to take his hand. "He can't compare to the masked archer of Sterling City."

He smiled and squeezed my hand. "Alright. But after we get a few dates in, I would like to spend more time with your family. I am assuming Batman is…"

"You know you can't tell another soul, right? He won't be too fond of you knowing."

"Green Arrow will probably figure it out, but it won't be from me."

"Thank you."

"Hey, what kind of boyfriend would I be if I couldn't keep your secret identity? "

I wasn't picked up from the hospital for nearly three hours, but Roy kept me company. The scientist didn't wake up at all and the doctors said they weren't sure if she ever would. Roy stayed and I went home to shower and crash. School was going to be full of makeup work tomorrow and I wasn't looking forward to any of it. I didn't get out of the shower until just after midnight and Rin was waiting in my room.

"Is this going to be a constant thing now? You want to move some clothes in while you're at it?"

"Would make some things easier. Where did you go today?"

"Family business emergency."

"Why did Roy leave with you?"

"He helped a little. Businessmen always like to stick together." I brushed out my hair, picking some pajamas out of the drawer.

"You know you don't need those."

I stepped away from him. "Rin, we can't do this anymore. You're lots of fun but, I really like Roy and I want to stay true to him. I don't want to lie to him anymore and pretend like this isn't happening. Besides, you deserve to be in a relationship where you can love her in the open and she can do that same."

He closed his eyes and sighed. "Please don't do this, Lis."

"Do what?"

"Cast me off." He stood up and walked over to me, taking my hand. "I don't mean to make you feel bad but this always happens. I fall for a girl and then she leaves for someone better."

"Rin, I told you I was in a relationship with Roy. You knew we couldn't be together."

"I guess I was kidding myself in believing I could be with someone as amazing as you."

"Rin, please-"

"No, it's fine. I understand you have a reputation to keep. Can't have the new kid messing up the Wayne thing, can you?"

"You're not messing anything up, Rin. It's just I can't-"

"Be involved with me. Yeah, I know this whole song and dance."

"Please, don't be like this. You knew what you were getting into. You knew about Roy and you know about the Waynes."

"You know I thought that night that you were different, that you didn't have a chip on your shoulder like the rest of them. That you genuinely saw me for what I was, not what you wanted to see. I thought that you saw better in me."

"What are you talking about?"

"I thought you didn't see me for the monster everybody else does."

"I don't. Rin, you're amazing. You are one of the sweetest people I've ever met and you are so much fun to be around. You keep me on my toes instead of doing the same boring thing like everyone else. You're not scared of being your own person. You don't care what other people think of you, but I have to."

"Because you're a Wayne." He spat the name like poison

"Yes, because I'm a Wayne. We can't control who our family is, Rin."

"But you can control who you are." He met my eyes and bored into them. "You say who you are and what you do, not your family."

"It doesn't work like that, Rin."

"It does if you say it does."

"Rin, you just don't understand."

He paused for a moment. "What if I…became one? A socialite? Would Bruce be more accepting of me?"

"Rin, it isn't that simple."

"But it would help, right?"

"Probably but you can't just flip this on and off like a switch, it takes connections and funding and-it's a complicated process."

"Can't be that hard."

"Rin, listen to me. You don't need to change. You're perfect how you are. You don't need to change for anyone. Ever."

"I want to be with you."

"This isn't being with me. Having to sneak in and dodge my dad?"

"In a way it's better. It's just us and no one else. Our own little world." He took my hands and pulled me closer. "We can be whoever we really are in this room, not what other people like."

He tilted my head up and kissed me softly. His lips barely brushed mine but they conveyed more emotions than a book. He pulled me in and kissed me deeply, trying to drink up every drop of me. Somewhere his shirt fell to the ground, and my towel slipped off as if on its own. The pain was ebbing away and I felt the pleasure he wanted me to. Even after he was done he kissed every inch of me and muttered love phrases into my ear. He laid under the covers with me and stroked my hair, soothing my frazzled nerves. He made me forget the rest of the world existed. In that moment, no else mattered but me.

"Lissa, can I tell you something without you freaking out?"

"Sure." I muttered, a stones throw from sleep

"I am really starting to care about you, Lissa."

I sat up and looked into his eyes, the windows to the soul. They were exposed, and he looked as vulnerable as an open nerve.

"I care about you too, Javrin." I leaned up and kissed him.

He pulled back and looked at me, trying to keep something down.

"What?"

"Lissa, I haven't been honest with you. But before I say anything you need to know how much I care about you."

"What's wrong?"

He perked up for a second and flashed into the closet. A second later Dick barged in.

"Emergency, we need to go now!"

"What's wrong?"

"I'll tell you on the way. Get dressed."

We were in Sterling City in less than 15 minutes and assessed the carnage. The Joker, Kanus, and their assorted goonies were amping up dozens of men with their special serum and releasing them onto the streets. Green Arrow's crew was doing their best to curb the damage but they were in obvious need of assistance.

"Green Arrow, here. These arrow heads have been fitted with a strong tranquilizer which will be powerful enough to put them under enough to get them into custody. "

"They're coming from the sewers. Speedy, go with Batgirl and Nightwing. We need to eliminate the source."

"Be careful." I connected eyes with Bruce before following Roy into a manhole.

The sewers smelled like-well a sewer. I was really glad my boots were waterproof; I didn't think Alfred would ever be able to get the smell out. We walked, following some noises sometimes, heading in the general area of the center of the city. Tactically being in the center would be the best means of distribution of their hyped-up druggies.

"Any ideas what might be ahead of us?"

"Probably a lot of bad guys, maybe Kanus." Speedy answered me, taking my hand "But we'll be able to handle them."

"I hope Kanus is here, I owe him a bullet hole." Nightwing flexed his hand from in front of me. "I hear voices and machinery, switch to stealth mode."

Our footsteps automatically got quieter, and we stopped talking. Speedy had an arrow laid across his fingers and Dick and I both had Batarangs ready in our hands. The tunnel we were in ended; and we peeked over the edge. Sure enough, the big three stood below us. Kanus, the Joker, and the Prince were administering shots to a group of four thugs. They were a mix of clowns and street criminals, but I wasn't keen to face any of them in combat. We quickly sedated all of them before any more of them could receive an injection. When we tried tranquilizing the Joker and Kanus, the Prince waved his hands and knocked the metal projectiles away.

We jumped down and faced off.

"Batgirl, Prince. Speedy, Kanus." He charged both the Joker and Kanus as I went for the Prince.

He got better every time I fought him, and this time wasn't spread thin to block my normal and powered attacks. Including Bruce, he was the toughest opponent I had ever faced. He kicked me in the ribs and sent my back into a railing. I used the momentum to swing around and kick him in the face, he caught my foot and moved to break it but I kicked his hand with my free leg and retained my balance. He kicked me again, throwing me into the Joker. We switched opponents then. The Joker was much easier to handle as he wasn't nearly as well geared to handle my powers. Kanus was knocked out in minutes by a shocker arrow of Speedy's, and the Joker was fading quickly. Speedy moved Kanus to the cement stairs to our left and re-aimed his bow. If the Joker went down, me and Nightwing could both take on the Prince easily. I swept the Joker's feet and knocked him to the ground. With a pounce I was on top of his chest, hair burning in victory.

An explosion shook the cement ceiling, dislodging a large piece. Things must be getting heated upstairs. It fell directly for the catwalk we were fighting on, and I was left with a choice: apprehend the Joker, or save Speedy who was directly in the way of the falling rock.

"Sorry!" I yelled, and fired a burning projectile at Roy.

It hit him in the side and caught his uniform on fire, but pushed him out of the way. The next second the cement beam hit the catwalk and scattered the rest of us. I was thrown off the Joker and sent plummeting into the swirling vortex below. I fired my grappling hook around a pipe grate above me and saved myself from the fatal swim. Dick and Roy did the same. The Joker had been thrown next to Kanus and they were now gone, the Prince had bent a metal handrail and was now climbing it as a ladder. He reached the destroyed remains of the catwalk about the same time we did and we squared off.

"Sorry, I don't play when the deck is stacked against me." He flicked his wrist up, dislodging the rest of the walkway. We dove for the cement stairs, watching the villain disappear down the pipe his mentor had left, bending the metal grate into a shield behind him.

"Well, no good to shoot him now." Speedy returned his notched arrow. "We should get back up, they might need our help."

We agreed and climbed up the top. Legions of the enhanced laid passed out on the streets, and only a few were left battling the older heroes. Combined we were no match and the elders pressed us for details. Hearing our story, the Arrow swore loudly.

"No offense, I'm getting really sick and tired of the Joker playing God. We have to stop this madness or half of the city will have powers."

"I agree." I spoke up. "And I have an idea."

After the bad guys were locked away and the police were dealt with, we gathered in Green Arrow's headquarters. Felicity had ordered food and the Arrows were digging in hungrily but we didn't touch anything. Rule 4: don't trust anything you didn't see made.

"So what's your bright idea?" Speedy asked around a mouth full of Lo Mein.

"They're playing God, right? But so far, everyone he has made has served him. I'm the one that got away."

"I don't like where this is headed." Nightwing growled

"I can be bait. If I go to him faking control issues, he won't refuse me. I can find out where he is staying, where he is getting all of this."

"It's risky." Batman said after a minute. "There is no guarantee he won't just kill you. He knows your weaknesses probably better than we do."

"I don't think anyone knows anything you don't." the Arrow chuckled. "But I do agree it is risky."

"I can defend myself. He'll be focused on my power, that's not all I have to offer."

"The Joker is no fool; he knows what you're capable of."

"Not everything."

"And what if he uses the Prince again? It has been shown he is a formidable opponent." Batman countered. "It is a good idea, but we're going to need a bit more planning. We can't just go in blind."

"We'll help however we can. In the meantime, we're going to continue to look for the source of these serums. Obviously their related, and since we destroyed their last hideout, they have to be looking for a new one."

"We'll keep in touch." Batman grunted and headed out.

We followed and piled into the Batmobile silently.

"While I know you have good intentions, the situation makes me nervous. There are too many variables. If the Prince wasn't there, maybe. Tonight shows you can handle the Joker, but not both of them."

"He is an enhanced, so he has to have a weakness right?" I bit my lip in thought. "Mine's related to my ability, maybe his is too."

"What is metals weakness, magnets?"

"Probably not." Batman grunted. "I'm not sure, keep your eyes open. I'll put some new tools in your belts the next time you face him and we'll see if anything works. We do know he is still human though; he can be attacked manually."

"He is getting better with his polarity; he'll start using it in combat more. This will make it harder to get to him."

"We'll deal with the situation when the time comes. In other news, tomorrow after school I need you two to come straight to the manor. We're going to be having guests."

"The occasion?" Nightwing asked

"You'll see." Batman gave a rare grin of secrecy.

"That's just mean." I grumbled as we pulled in the secret entrance.
