A/N: Rosalie has always fascinated me. She's shallow and self-centred and an absolute nightmare, but I can't help liking her. So, I tried to write a poem for her…not sure how well I did, but I like the imagery. Let me know (please!) what you think…xxx
Rose
Marble and gold
A vision to surpass any dream
A statue of a goddess
To grace any temple
Breathtaking;
Not breathing.
Sunlight and snow
A shimmering chill
To capture the unwitting
And hold them in time
Frozen;
Unmeltable.
Heart-stopping irony
Give up future, past, present
For eternity
A dream realised into a nightmare
Unchanged;
Unchangeable
A snapshot taken and fixed in stone
My future written;
Indelible.
