This is a random, drabbling poem. I know Ryou seems very defiant, and Bakura's defensive. OOC? Maybe. Depends on how you look at it. Some of the poem rhymes, and some doesn't. It's basically Ryou and Bakura's conversation, in poem form. I'm not sure if I like it, to be honest. Tell me your thoughts!
DISCLAIMER:Don't own it. Don't claim to. Simple as that.
Normal:Ryou - Hikari
Bold:Bakura - Yami
I'm the light
You're the dark
Opposites
Like night and day
I'm the dark
You're the light
I'm strong and powerful
While you crumble
I'm not broken, my yami
I'm barely holding on
Clinging to my sanity
You haven't won yet
Yes I have
I'm dominate
I conquered
You are no more
I'm still fighting!
Though you might not know
I'm much stronger
Than you will ever see
Fool!
You haven't won
You're a broken mirror
Shattered hopes and dreams
You'd like that, huh?
But that's not how it is
You're the weak one
The one who shall lose
Insolent little animal
Idiotic, weak hikari
You are lower than a thief;
A scrawny, pathetic worm
Stop! Stop! Stop!
You have no idea what you're saying
You're wrong
Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!
Upset?
You should be
I'm much more powerful
Bow down
I will never bow to you
You don't deserve it
You're just a scared little child
Who sees yourself in me
I'm not like you
I'm not weak
You are the tiny one
...Not me
Now who's upset?
Shut up!
No!
Don't make me do it, light
Do what?
You can't hurt me
Not any more
I know you care
Why would I care for you?
You mean nothing to me
You are small
In my eyes
Am I like you?
Were you just the same
As me?
I think you were
I was not!
I'm much stronger
You're lying
I can see it in your eyes
What about you?
You sob every night
Tears streaming down your face
Glistening in the moonlight
Just like you
No
Yes
Shut up!
Make me, yami
Why don't you see?
We're not so different
At all
I doubt that, hikari
We aren't as similar as you say
We're like you said:
Night and day
Night and day work together
In harmony
At sunset and sunrise
We are one
Maybe,
Maybe;
Maybe...
Very odd. But it was kinda fun to write! And, my first poem by itself. Um...Whoo? Well, review on your way out.
