Inuyasha looked into Kouga'seyes and saw nothing, but love and trust. Inuyasha moved his lips to form a word, "Yes". Kouga was shocked at the hanyou. He thought that he would yell at him and runaway. Kouga was truly shocked. Then, he started thinking about asking the hanyou the biggest question of all.
"Inuyasha". Kouga said. Inuyasha looked up at Kouga with a questioned look on his face. Kouga took a deep breath and said, "Inuyahsa….. Would you like to become my mate?" There, he said it al. Inuyasha was truly speechless. He couldn't believe his rival and the one he loved wanted to become his mate. "Yes", Inuyasha whispered.
Kouga wrapped his arms around the hanyou and brought him into a comforting hug. Inuyasha rested his head on Kogua's strong chest , embracing his new mate. Inuyasha breathed in the scent of his new mate. "You smell like sweet spices", Inuyasha whispered against Kouga's chest. Kouga sighed hugguing his puppy a little tighter.
Kouga looked at Inuyasha smiling. Then, he said "Inuyasha…. would you like to become my mate?
Inuyasha and looked at Kouga and said one word that united them forever, "Yes".
