Father and Daughter Moments

Edward's POV

We were sat in our cottage watching the television set. Renesmee had control over the remote. She had Disney Channel on. "Renesmee, you've watched High School Musical a few dozen times. Could you not watch anything else?" I asked.

"No," she said, simply. Troy came on screen. Nessie smiled and sighed.

He is so cute. She thought. I raised my eyebrow at her.

"Gabriella is so lucky," she said. I fought back a laugh.

"I'm going to tell Jacob," I said. Nessie looked horror struck.

"Daddy, please don't," she said. I laughed.

"Don't worry, Nessie. I'm just messing," I said.

A couple of seconds passed. The piano started playing. Oh, how I wished I had my piano here with me. This Kelsi seemed like an alright player. "Oh I love this song!" Nessie said. She took a deep breath. Singing time.

"Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, yeah. You are the music in me. You know the words once upon a time; makes you listen there's, a reason. When you dream there's a chance you'll find a little laughter or happy ever after," she sang. She looked at me. I smiled and sang with her.

"Your harmony to the melody, it's echoing in inside my head."

"Hmm, you're pulling me..." We sang. Our voices blended perfectly. I was having fun, singing with my daughter.

Nessie's POV

You are the music in me started playing. "Oh I love this song," I said. I took a deep breath and started singing. After a bit daddy joined in. We sung in perfect harmony. I was having so much fun. The song came to an end. "Yeah," Daddy sang the last word. We both smiled.

"That was so cool," I said. Daddy laughed.

"To right it was," he agreed.

"Let's do it again!"

Edward's POV

"Let's do it again!" Nessie yelled getting up and pulling me along with her. We went up to her room. She walked over to her stereo and places a song in the player. The song started. I raised my eyebrow at the song. "Come on, Daddy please!" She pleaded. I grabbed a brush. She grabbed a perfume bottle. I started singing. She joined in when it was her part. We changed the song when it ended. We both heard the door open but we ignored it. We were singing our hearts out. It was like a karaoke night.

"Edward! Nessie!" Bella called. She stood in the doorway. The song finished and Nessie jumped into her momma's arms.

"Momma!" She yelled.

"Hey there," Bella said, kissing the top of her head. I walked up to them and gave Bella a quick kiss.

"So what have you two been up to whilst I was being tortured?" Bella asked. I frowned. Then smiled.

"Alice" We both said.

"We've been singing!" Nessie yelled. I laughed. She looked so cute. The smile was wiped of my face when I heard what she was thinking.

"No, Nessie. Please!" I pleaded. She looked up at me with pleading eyes.

"Please daddy," She said. Her eyes filled with tears. I groaned. She had been learning a few tricks from her Aunt's.

"Fine," I groaned. She screamed. She walked into our room and into our closet.

"Momma, come on!" She yelled. Bella trailed behind us. She rummaged through the clothes. She pulled out a blue sequin number for Bella and a pink one for herself. She then pulled out a white sleeveless shirt and jeans. She gave them to me. We all got dressed. She draped feathers around us. I groaned. We walked back to her room. She put the song on.

"5, 6, 7, 8!" She yelled. Bella started singing along with her. I put a straight face on and sung along too. I was only too happy when the song ended.

"Great job everyone!" Nessie said. She then eyed me. She ran out of the room and back in with another blue sequin dress in her hand.

"No, No way! Renesmee, if you make me wear that, I'll disown you!" I yelled. Nessie broke down in tears. Someday Alice would pay! I grunted and pulled the dress on. Ugh! Nessie squealed and put the music on again. Despite the fact that I was dressed in a girls dress, I was actually having fun. Too much fun to notice the six vampires coming in the house and up the stairs. I only realised when they poked their heads in the doorway and Emmett and Jasper started wolf whistling. They howled with laughter.

"Woooo! Looking sexy Edward! Bella, how could you resist! He's on fire!" Emmett yelled. Everyone burst out into peels on laughter, everyone except Nessie.

"Its okay, Daddy! I think you're beautiful!" She said which made everyone laugh even more.

This chapter was a tiny bit OCC but I had to do that to bring the humour in.
