Halloween themed one. I know there is no Halloween in the FMA world, but remember these don't have to make sense, I mean Arakawa made Al into a genie once. So basically this is if The FMA crew were to have a pumpkin carving contest what each one would end up doing.
Contests and Jack O'Lanterns
It was that time of year again and the FMA crew was having their annual pumpkin carving contest. Riza and Fury had volunteered to judge as the entries were just finishing up.
They came over to see Roy's Jack O'Lantern first. "Um, it's on fire," stated Riza.
"Well, an ordinary candle just wouldn't do to light it up." Roy replied.
"Yes, but by the time we make our decision, it will be nothing but a pile of ashes" replied Riza. Apparently that never crossed the Colonel's mind.
"And Winry, yours seems . . . normal," the Lieutenant exclaimed looking at the young mechanic's normal looking happy face. Then Riza noticed a power saw hiding behind her back. "Sorry Winry, power tools violate the rules."
"Bu-but I only used it on the mouth, I swear!" Riza and Fury ignored the young girl's protests and headed over to see what Al had done.
"Seems decent, well done Alphonse." Riza stated. Al had, of course, carved a carefully done cat face into his pumpkin.
"Thank you, Lieutenant."
They skipped by Scar as it was apparent that some time during carving he got frustrated and blew up his pumpkin, and instead headed towards Falman and Breda who had teamed up.
"Um, it looks like . . . a rabbit?" Both Riza and Fury were tilting their heads to try to depict the form carved into their pumpkin.
"It was supposed to be Black Hayate as a vampire dog," the two replied.
"Oh" stated Fury, "now I see it. Wait, no, not really. It was a good effort guys."
"And what do you have for us Mr. Fullmetal?" Riza asked. Ed was piling up a good half dozen pumpkins together.
"Wait for it," he said as he clapped his hands together and put them on the ground next to the mound. "Ha, ha, I present to you the best of them all!" Ed alchemitized a huge Jack O'Lantern almost as big as himself, and what was carved into it was . . . himself. His cartoon version of the face with just the cowlick and the braid sticking its tongue out.
"Well, it's certainly scary. I'll give you that." Riza stated then she looked back over her score sheet. "Alphonse wins," she proclaimed as she handed Al the first place ribbon.
"What? But why?" The alchemist complained.
"Bigger isn't always better, Brother."
So there it is, and just in time too:) have a safe and happy Halloween people!:D
