Ch.2 Alice

APOV

"Hey Edward! Sorry I'm late." I skipped cheerily to my brothers side. He was standing in the middle of the soccer field starring at the road. "Umm Edward? Helllllloooo?" I waved my hand in front of his face. He blinked and looked down at me.

"Hey Alice." He smiled a weird goofy grin. I took a step back.

"Edward what the hell has happened to you?" He laughed. "This is not funny!"

"I met someone." He shrugged. Oh shit! He wasn't supposed to meet anyone untill tommorro night. And the girl he would meet then was going to be Bella. I am so going to lose the bet.

"Who?" I tried to look happy and half of me was while the other half was saying call of the bet while you have the chance. He didn't answer. "Edward WHO!?" He just grinned at me.

"I'll tell you when it's official." I groaned. OFFICIAL! Jasper will so never ask me out once I scream to the whole school. "You look a little nervous there sis. And you should be." He smirked.

"Ugh! I'm going home. I need to lie down." I turned on the spot and walked off. I was 3 feet away when he said something that gave me hope.

"Looking forward to your movie night tommorro. Mabey I'll bring Jasper." He chuckled and walked to his volvo. OMG I have to call Bella. I pulled out my phone, and dialed her number.

"Hello?"

"Bella did you meet Edward at the park?"

"Umm yeah. I think he likes me so don't worry."

"No worries here!" I paused to clap when I saw Jasper. "Nevermind!"

"Alice what are you talking about?"

"Jasper. He's shooting hoops across the street! What do I do?"

"Alice breath!" I took a deep breath. "Just go talk to him. Be his friend first. It usually works."

"K. Thanks Bella."

"No prob. Bye Alice."

"Bye." I snapped the phone shut and took a few deep breaths. I can do this. I walked across the street and strait to Jasper. My heart was thumping loudly in my chest and I was surprised he didn't spin around at the sound of it. He was so cute! His hair was a honey blonde, he was tall and muscular and had the most gorgeous blue eyes I ever seen.

I watched as he made a 3 pointer before I got the courage to speak. "Nice shot." I smiled when he spun around surprised.

"Oh. Umm hey Alice...what are you doing here?" He was starring at his feet and I felt my heart jump.

"I met up with Edward, but he decided to leave."

"Well... you could always...hang out with me." He shrugged. God he was so cute.

"Sure. Let's play one on one." He looked surprised but he smiled.

"Are you sure you're not afraid of losing?" He smirked. I laughed before stealing the ball and shooting it strait in the basket.

"No I'm not scared. Are you?" His mouth had fallen open. I laughed and shut it for him.

JPOV

I was shooting hoops in the park. It's what I usually did when I was trying to think. Tonight I was thinking about what had happened last night.

"Jasper!" Edward punched my fist like always and let me inside. I had never been in his home before but he invited me tonight to play video games. We walked into his living room and put in guitar hero. I was winnining when a door upstairs slammed. Edward looked a little frightened as someone stomped the down the stairs.

"EDWARD ANTHONY CULLEN WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY PHONE!?" I was a little scared myself at the sound of the angry voice.

"What the hell is going on?" I whispered to Edward.

"Shh. Don't make her madder." He whispered. Just then a small pixie like girl stormed in.

"EDWARD WHERE IS MY PHONE!?" She stopped in the door way. Her eyes landed on me and I blushed. She was amazingly beautifull, with pointed black hair and amazing hazle eyes. "Sorry I didn't know anyone was here. But if I don't get my phone back tonight I'm stealing yours." She glared at Edward before leaving the room.

"Umm who was that?" I looked at my feet so he wouldn't see the light pink in my cheeks.

"Alice my sister she can be pretty anoying but-" He paused. "You like her!"

"No I don't! Come on let's finish the game." He shrugged and we continued to play.

I shot the ball from half court and it went strait in. "Nice shot." I spun around surprised that I was no longer alone.

"Oh. Umm hey Alice... what are you doing here?" God that was stupid. Why couldn't I be charming?

"I met up with Edward, but he decided to leave."

"Well... you could always...hang out with me." I shrugged hoping she hadn't caught the excitement in my voice.

"Sure. Let's play one on one." Shock spread across my face but I covered it up with a smirk.

"Are you sure you're not afraid of losing?" She laughed and stole the ball. She shot the ball from half court and it went in smoothly.

"No I'm not scared. Are you?" My mouth was hanging open. She laughed and shut it for more me. We played for 5 minutes and we were tied.

"You've got game shortie." I grinned at her. Her cheeks went pink.

"You're not so bad yourself." She smiled and my heart fluttered. She looked at her watch and jumped. "I gotta get home." She ran off in the direction of a yellow porshe.

"Alice!" I ran over to her. She turned looking a little confused. I took a deep breath before speaking. "Doyoumabeywannagooutwithme?" I asked it like it was all one word.

"What?" She looked confused and frustrated.

"Do you mabey wanna go out with me?" I was starring at my feet. I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks. I glanced up and she was smiling.

"I thought you'd never ask." I smiled, realizing we were both leaning towards each other. Unfortunatly right before I was about to kiss her, her phone rang. She groaned before answering.

"Hello?... Fine I'm on my way!" She snapped the phone shut. "Sorry but I gotta go. You can come to my movie night tommorro if you want."

"Sounds good." She walked to the middle of the street, hesitated then ran back to me. Before I could ask what was wrong she kissed me quickly and ran back to the car. I watched her drive away, a goofy grin plastered on my face. I don't know how long I stood there but I eventually went home. My thoughts went to tommorro night. This should be interesting.
