Ch.3 Movies and shopping. What fun!

Alice had taken me to every store in the mall and my arms were now aching from carring about 50 bags. Unsurprisingly most of them were for me. Alice went on all day about how her and Jasper kissed and he was coming over and how cute he was and blah blah blah. My thoughts weren't with her at all, the ended up un Edward. Mabey now that Alice was going out with Jasper she wouldn't mind screaming to the school. But if I know Alice she hates to lose. Great, so now I have to break her brothers heart and mine.

"So Bella, what did you do to make Edward like you so much?"

"We played soccer." I shrugged. We were now in Alice's yellow porshe driving back to her house. My bag for tonight was already there. When we got in the house Alice brought all the bags upstairs and then brought alot of pillows and blankets down. We threw everything on the floor and then I helped her pop popcorn, make nachos, put the chips and candy into seprate bowls, and take out the pop. When we were finished it took 3 trips to bring it all to the living room.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Alice was bouncing and clapping. I rolled my eyes. "Come on Bella you have to wear the cute PJs I bought!" Alice dragged me upstairs and shoved a pair of baby blue shorts and a matching top in my arms. When we both were changed we had the same PJs but Alice's were pink.

"Alice! Jasper's here! Get down here so we can watch the movie!" That voice sent tingles down my spine. Shit! I'm falling for Edward and I'm falling hard. Alice had started bouncing again at Jasper's name and she grabbed my arm and basically flew me down the stairs.

We watched movie after movie. The snacks were pretty good and were gone fast, but I didn't care. Alice was snuggling up to Jasper and he was whispering in her ear causing her to blush. Edward was next to me but he looked kinda nervous. When the movie ended Alice went to shut off all the lights in the house and close the blinds. I looked at Edward confused but he just shrugged. Then Alice went to put in the next movie.

"What are we watching?"

"Scary movie 1-4."

"Alice don't you dare! You know I hate scarry movies!" I had pulled my knees closer to me so I was in a ball form.

"Don't be such a baby Bella."

I growled, but all that did was make them laugh. I made it through, well, about 5 minutes of the movie before I went back to ball form. After another 5 minutes I had acted without thinking. One moment I was sitting beside Edward and the next I had my face hidden in his chest. He seemed surprised for a moment but then he wrapped his arms around me in a protective way.

EPOV

We were watching a scary movie and Bella was scared. She had her knees pulled close to her in a ball form. I felt bad for her. I wanted to hold her in my arms to help her calm down, but I was nervous. I was arguing with myself and I finally decided to try to calm her down. I was about to put my arm around her when she jumped and hidd her face in my chest. I was shocked for a minute but I put my arms around her. I put my head beside her ear.

"It's just a movie Bella. It'll be alright." I whispered. She shuddered but pulled herself closer. I felt her warmth spread through me. She stayed like that for the rest of the scary movies, and I didn't want her to get up. She fell asleep in my arms and rested my head on hers.

"Bye Jasper." Alice called out the door as Jasper left. She turned on the lights and gave me a smug smile. I smirked at her and carried Bella to Alice's room. Alice was right behind me smirking as I kissed her forhead. I turned to leave when Bella talked.

"Edward." I turned at my name but she was still asleep. Alice mouth hung open and she looked furious. She obviasly realized that I would win the bet.

"Goodnight Alice." I smirked as I left. I fell asleep easily that night, and dreams of Bella floated through my head.
