Ch.5 Apologies

APOV

It was completely black outside when I drove to Bella's but I didn't care. As I parked in her drive way I saw a curtain pull open then snap shut again.

"Alice?" Bella was in the door way with a shocked expression.

"Hey Bella." I smiled slightly and she smiled back. She let me inside and I apologised a hundread times. "I can't believe I got so angry. I'm so sorry Bella."

"Alice stop. Your forgiven." I smiled and hugged her.

"Sooo... you and Edward huh?" I smiled when her cheeks went bright pink. "He really likes you." Her cheeks darkened. I stayed over untill 10:00 and we talked about Edward and Jasper.

"Bye Alice." We were at Bella's front door.

"You know what? We should go on a double date! Tommorro's Saturday so we should go to dinner or something. Oohh I'll make reservations at the really fancy place." Before Bella could speak I was running to my car. Once I got in I rolled down the window. "I'll take you shopping tommorro for the perfect dress." She smiled before closing the door and I drove off.

The next day was great! I found a pretty black dress that hugged my figure nicely and went just below my knees and forced Bella to get a stunning midnight blue dress that tied behind the neck and had light blue rinestones outlining the top. I hugged her figure nicely as well but if I said that she'd take it off, and it also went just below the knee. Edward was gonna stutter when he saw Bella tonight!

7:30pm

"Bella you look amazing!" I jumped up and down clapping my hands. "Tonight will be so much fun!" We were in my room and I had just finished Bella's make up. I put it on lightly since she hated make up, but mine was almost exactly the same.

"Alice Jasper is here! Can we go yet?" Edward's voice drifted up the stairs.

"Coming Eddie!"

"Stop calling me that!" Me and Bella burst out laughing as we walked down the stairs. I thought I saw Edward's jaw drop when he saw Bella but he closed it to quickly.

"Hey Eddie." She giggled.

"Bella you look... amazing." He smiled and put out his arm and she gladly linked her's with his. I smiled, this should be a fun night.

EPOV

My jaw nearly dropped when I saw Bella. She was always beautifull but when she tried to look... classy she looked stunning. I smiled as we got in the back seat of Alice's yellow porshe, as soon as we got in she put her head on my shoulder and I stroked her hair.

It took ten minutes to get to the restraunt but the time flew with Bella by my side. We walked in and the host walked up quickly.

"May I help you?" I noticed her eyes linger over me but I only had eyes for Bella.

"Cullen." Alice stated firmly. I nearly choked with laughter. Alice had always wanted to say that.

"Right this way." Her tone sounded bitter when she noticed my Bella's hand in mine. Jasper smirked at me making it harder for me to control my laughter.

Dinner went by quick. The waitor was also a girl and actually slipped me her phone number with the bill. As soon as we were out of the restraunt we all burst out laughing.

"Well that was an interesting experience." Alice grinned causing us all to laugh again. Alice dropped Me and Bella off at her house so she could be with Jasper. I rolled my eyes knowing she was just getting me alone with Bella.

"Make yourself at home." She gestured toward the living room and I sat on the couch while she went to change. She came back down in sweat pants and a T-shirt but I still thought she looked stunning. I patted the couch next to me and she laughed before sitting down. We watched a few movies and as soon as her head was on my shoulder I knew I had to tell her.

"Bell... Bella?"

"Mmmm"

"I... I love you." Her head snapped up. Her eyes full of what thought was hope.

"Do you really mean that?" I nodded. "Edward I love you to." She placed her hand on my cheek and I couldn't take it. I kissed her. She responded imediatly, knotting her hands in my hair, while I put my arms around her waist. I licked her bottom lip and she moaned.

When we parted for air I kissed slowly down her neck, before we heard a car door.

"Charlie!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs. I smiled, she clearly didn't want me to leave. We entered a large bedroom with yellow walls, a large stereo, a computer, and a large bed. "Sorry. I'll just go tell Charlie I'm going to bed so he won't check up on me." She left so I went to sit on the bed.

I heard a car door and the purr of an engine. Bella came back in smiling.

"He's staying over at Billy's for fishing tommorro." She sat next to me and I ran my hand down her arm. She leaned closer and we started to kiss again. I ran my hand down her side and paused at her calve before wrapping her leg around my waist. I turned so she was lying on the bed and I was on top of her.

I had a feeling this was the girl I would spend the rest of my life with.
