Okay I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh! GX earlier and I thought to myself: Why is Jaden so obsessed with getting Jesse back if they're just friends and not lovers? Well, I came up with a solution. And here it is!

He ran down the mountain side, desperate to get to the bottom of it. He knew he'd just broken a promise but he had to reach Jesse. Jesse was the only person who made him smile now. He missed him dearly and being torn from him made Jaden's heart ache with pain. A pain he knew all to well.
The pain of separation.
He pushed his legs to run faster, aware that he was being watched by the Dark Army's scouts. He'd have to act surprised when they catch him in their trap. But he didn't care about being caught. He only cared about the one person he missed with all of his heart.
Jesse.
Jesse.
Jesse.
An image of the cheerful, bright, and smart bluenette filled his mind and he had to blink away the tears at the thought of something horrible happening to Jesse. He couldn't bear the thought.
No-one knew the truth. His friends were ignorant to it even though it faced them every single day since Jesse joined them at Duel Academy. The teachers just thought they were good friends that loved to spend time together. They had to pretend to be oblivious to the talk of the yaoi fangirls at their school who wanted them to be together.
Because of one big secret that could ruin everything.
They were brothers. Twins.
Separated by their cruel parents because Jesse wasn't like them at all. Jesse wasn't a brunette nor did he have chocolate brown eyes. Jesse was different and their parents hated it.
