"What do you mean?", Inu asked.
"Inu Yasha. I know that Kagome did hurt you. And I know that it might sound selfish of me. But is it possible that I... that I..."
"That you...?"
"THAT I CAN REPLACE KAGOME IN YOUR HEART!", she yelled.
"Shiori... Does that mean you...?"
"Yes, Inu-chan! I love you. I did since we have met for the first time. You are the only man in my life and I was very angry with Kagome for what she has done to you. So... can I be your other girlfriend?"
Inu closed his eyes.
"Shiori. I hope that you can understand that I can't love you in the same way like Kagome."
"I... u-undestand...", she said with tears in her eyes before she turned around and started to leave.
"And I don't know if I ever can get over her. But if I do, than I need your help."
Shiori turned to Inu.
"What do you mean by that, Inu-chan?"
"You should know that love takes time. And I feel that every part of me that was taken away by Kagome comes back with you by my side."
She cried, but her tears were tears of joy.
"But there will be two things that I want to say you. First, don't be angry with Kagome anymore. That would make me sad. And second. Neither you nor Sango should be jealous about each other. You know about my curse, Shiori."
Sango and Shiori smiled.
"I wouldn't call it a curse.", said Shiori happily.
