Just an idea that popped into my head, doing poems on the crazy minds of Avatar, which is really only…three? Unless I count Koh? How about the crazy and the creepy…? Anyways, this first one is about Hama. Enjoy!

At first the day seems alright,
Nothing to make you suspect violence.
When suddenly to Hama's fright,
A ship from the fog ends the silence.

They fight back of course,
But it is too late.
No matter their force,
Death is their fate.

They throw them in prison,
Leave them to rot.
Her anger is risen,
Yet escape is unsought.

Even though she is tethered,
She feels it in her veins-
It cannot be severed,
The power she gains.

She has learned the art,
She is sure of escape,
The guards she'll outsmart,
She'll leave them agape.

But how, just how?
She still isn't sure.
She must leave now,
She cannot endure.

And then in the dark with the moon oh-so-bright,
As the rats are a' wondering who has taken control,
She twists her hands and using her might,
The rat is dead before it reaches its hole.

Her smile is wicked,
She can now have revenge,
With this act so horrid,
She can now bloodbend.

The months carry on,
She perfects her form,
But her heart from thereon
Begins to deform.

It made her a sadist,
With all else locked away.
This heart seems the bravest,
She made it that way.

Revenge and her power,
These thoughts run her head,
And by the light hour,
Inside she is dead.

First poem ever. I think the rating is too high...What do you think? Leave a review saying so! I'm thinking I might make a second half for after she escaped. Again, what do you think? The other two I'm thinking of doing are Azula and Ozai, and maybe Koh. So leave a review, give your honest opinion, tips, whatever! It'll mean so much!

Update as of 5/7/11: I am no longer updating this. I'll label it as complete and file it away, just because I'm really not good at poetry. It's not like anyone read it anyways. :P
