Today Is The Greatest Day

John got Dean up at sunrise and they headed out in the Impala. After a terrible werewolf hunt yesterday he wanted to make it up to Dean. He couldn't stand his grating silence during the ride. He was never that quiet, only when he felt something was his fault. John wanted to show him it wasn't. He parked in front of a weapon store and gave his eldest fifty dollars.
"Buy anything you want, Dean."
"Really?"
John nodded and smiled as Dean's face brightened. He watched him run into the store excitedly, and that right there made John very happy.
