Fabian POV
I'm really worried about Nina buy I'm trying to hide it.
She didn't come home last night. What if she got lost, or worse, kidnapped. Amber covered her of course, or Trudy would have been freaking out.
Me and Amber are the only ones who knew that this story about Nina staying with family is fake. No one in Nina's family (that she knows of) has even been to England.
Amber and I were walking to school when I herd a whimper. At first I ignored it but when it kept going I dragged amber over to it (who hates any animals except for cats, dogs, and fish) It was coming from the bushes.
I moved the bushes out of the way. It was nina! She was soaked and shaking from last nights rainstorm. She was covered in bruises and even had some blood on her face .She looked terrified and happy to see us all at the same time. It was like she wasn't even sure it was Fabian and Amber her best friends. She looked like she wasn't there. Like she was in a trance or something.
"We cant leave her here all day" I said to Amber. " I'd tell you to pick her up but you have no manly strength what so ever. We should get someone strong…Like Mick!" I rolled my eyes at Amber even thought that was mostly true. I usually cant lift a 20 lb weight but adrenaline kicked in and I carried her into the house and set her on a couch.
"Amber go get Trudy something might be wrong." I said my words shaking with me.
Nina seemed like she was walking from her trance. " I-I d-don't even remember his face" she quietly whispered as I stroked her hair.
I have absolutely no idea what she's talking about. But I will find out. And I will kill the person who hurt my Nina.
