Abigail and her close friends explored the outlying street that bordered the college campus, while her family rested at the deli. Passers-by carried themselves in a different manner than what Abigail was used to. Instead of music blaring out of car windows, passers-by plugged their ears with small earplugs. Abigail didn't question but thought this wasn't too safe because of the traffic. Somehow passers-by managed to continue on their ways without getting hit by cars. Little shops and bookstores adorned the outlying street. But, at last, Abigail and her close friends located a coffee shop. What's a college town without a coffee shop?
They drifted into the coffee shop, which was located in a narrow building. Abigail and her friends meandered past the café tables towards the counter. They each ordered the house blend, and observed the interior. Artwork and a bulletin board adorned the walls. Roasted coffee beans filled the air, along with a sweet pastry smell. They filed over to a cluster of vacant café tables and sat down. The barista brought over their drinks and left. The smooth taste of the coffee put Abigail and her friends on an even keel as they continued to solve the world's problems.
