AN: Just because it was requested here is the aftermath of Eli Crashing at Clare's
Eli
I groaned as the light glarred into my eyes. Why must the mornings be so bright? I complained in my mind as I rolled over pulling a pillow to my head. "Come on sleepy head." A gentle voice called from the door way. I smirk to myself knowing that lovely voice. I looked to the door squinting through the bright light to see the beautiful blue eyed red headed little girl standing there. "Mommy says you have to get up now."
"What can the birthday boy not sleep in on his speacial day?" I asked giving a fake pout to the beauty before me. She giggled at me then ran up and jumped on the bed.
"Dad that is no excuse to be lazy. What are you going to use for tomorrow when you aren't the birthday boy?" She asked smiling up at me. It took my breath away how much this little girl looked like Clare. She had my facial expressions but Clare's eyes, Clare's hair, Clare's smarts. I pulled her close to me and rolled over tucking her in with me.
"Why don't we both be lazy?" I playfully held her down as she tried to sit up.
"Oh no you don't you're not getting me introuble too. Now come on. Mommy's got breakfast ready. Well it's more like brunch for you lazy." She replied slipping from my grip and running away. "Don't make me get a bucket of water." She called before leaving me alone. Yep she was just like her mother.
I stretched trying to get my muscles to charge up. I smiled realizing that Clare was down stairs cooking me breakfast on my birthday. How did I get so lucky to win her back? I smiled again thinking about the night she confessed she was pregnant. My heart still skipped a beat by the passion we had shared that night. "Are you getting up!" Stacy shouted up at me causeing me to laugh.
I jumped up out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. I hurried and got ready in a hurry to see my two favorite girls in the world. I had to admit me and Clare have had our fair shares of issues but after she had Stacy and I quiet my job things have been perfect. I ran down the stairs almost tripping over the dog. "Oh Da..."
"I hope you're not about to say what I think you are." Clare shouted from the kitchen.
I grinned at Clare's response. Ever since Stacy came into this world she's been the perfect example of Saint Clare as she use to be known. "Oh I happen to remember a certain blue eyed minx who use to say worse then that." I replied sneaking up behind her and slipping my arms around her waist. "Good morning beautiful." I whispered kissing her neck that was reviled to me.
"Well good morning birthday boy." she giggled tilting her head to the side giving me more room to work with. I silently groaned at her scent wishing we could forget about breakfast and just get to the birthday sex I've been waiting for.
"Get a room." Stacy called from the table. I chuckled at her attitude and pulled away from Clare who was blushing.
"Stacy don't speak like that." She demanded, trying to hide her blush from our daughter. I chuckled at the fact Clare can still be so innocent when she needed to be. I was still amazed after everything we've done she was still capable of a blush. I grabbed a grape from a bowl on the counter and sat down across from Stacy.
"Yes Stacy don't make your mother blush so early in the morning." I joked earning a glare from Clare. She might not like it but due to my childhood my parenting experience wasn't the same as hers. Where she was the stressed out moral centered christian, I was the fun loving, carefree, laid back parent. We balanced eachother out and created the perfect environment for Stacy. Clare passed me swatting at me while sitting a plate of delicious looking food in front of Stacy. "Hey what happened to the golden rule of birthday boy being first?" I asked giving a playfully hurt look to my daughter who took a big bite of bacon in front of me and stuck her tongue out.
"Well if someone would wake up at a decent hour on his birthday he might have got first dibs." Clare stated making me a plate. She sat it down giving me a peck on the check before sitting down with her own plate.
"MMMMM This looks amazing Blue eyes." I stated digging into the amazing smelling food. My eyes rolled back in their sockets as I took the first bite.
"Good?" Clare asked sporting a proud smirk. I winked at her then looked down at our beautiful daughter.
"So you excited about going over to Uncle Adam's?" I asked, her through a mouth full of food. She just nodded knowing better then talking with her mouth full. How bad was it our 6 year old had better manners them me... Not bad at all I think. We must be doing something right. I thought glancing over at my beautiful wife.
Yep she was my wife. She held true to her promise and when I asked her to marry me on Stacy's 3rd birthday it had been like a fairy tale since then. Okay maybe like a Brother's Grimm Fairy Tale but not matter what hard times came at us Clare and I have made it through. She must have noticed me staring because she blushed before grabbing my hand. "Happy birthday sweety." She whispered as Stacy smiled up at us.
I sighed dropping down on the bed tired beyond belief. Once Adam came over with his kids it was all crazy after that. the day consited of shouting, running around, sugar, and games. I have to admit as tired as I was I wouldn't give it up for the world.
"Hey birthday boy." Clare purred from the bathroom door. I looked over to see her wearing a new bright red nighty. The color flaunted her rich creamy complection perfectingly causing me to practically drool at her. "Are you up for one more birthday present?" She asked seductively, swaying her hips as she walked slowly over to me. Any tireness I felt seconds before was gone as she made her way to me in that sexy outfit.
I sat up oogling her perfect body. Every curve made me crave her more and more. I looked up to catch her eyes. She blushed as she stopped infront of me and my hands began cressing her curves. "I am prepared to suffer through anymore birthday surprises you want to give. Under one condition... You have to either continue wearing that or strip it off." I declared pulling her into my lap. She giggled at my response and pushed me back on my back.
I raised an eyebrow at her realizing my fisty Clare was awake now that Stacy wasn't home. She bit her lip, a tell tale sign she was nervous. I gripped her hips looking her in the eyes. "Is everything okay?" I asked her nervousness starting to rub off on me.
"I'm perfect Eli. I have everything I could ever want. I beautiful daughter, a perfect house, a great job, the most amazing husband ever..." she paused looking down at me in a teasing manner. I slited my eyes at her waiting for her to finish. "And it is still growing." She finished.
I stared at her confused. What the hell was that suppose to mean. I watched for any sign that she was just messing with me. "That's your last birthday present Mr. Goldsworthy. I wanted you to know you're going to be father to another child." She whispered placing her forhead against mine. My heart stopped much like it had when she told me we were going to have Stacy.
"Are you sure?" I asked her.
She stitched her eyebrows together confused by my response. She nodded "I've missed last months and I'm late this month." She answered, starting to pull away.
Before she could get away I pulled her too me holding her close. "How did you know what I was wanting?" I purred the question into her ear before nibbling on it. She looked at me amazed. "You always knew me the best." I added crashing my lips to hers. I felt her smile against me as she responded to my kiss. I grinned up at her when she pulled away looking at me. Yes she was my other half the most important part of my life. I don't think I will ever be able to live without her again. She bit her lip again looking the same as she had in high school. I smirked at her only imagining how much I looked like that messed up boy she once knew. To think all this happened because of one night that I crashed at her house.
AN: Um so yeah this isn't my best work ever but it gives you a conclusion to their life. Hope you are satisfied knowing they are happy and totally together.
