The Master's annoyance was nothing compared to that of the Doctor. And that was saying something. The Doctor fussed over the issue at hand which the Master had given up on. He sighed, wishing that he could get some peace without something going wrong every single time he tried to help the Master with rewiring the console, or just generally with anything.
It was dangerous to leave the Master free to touch anything really, so this was for the good of the universe. If only the Master concentrated while the Doctor explained why he was configuring the blue buttons to stabilise the controls, and hit the spinny thing with the hammer, so they could move around the vortex faster than they currently were, because neither of them fancied hanging around in the same place for more than ten minutes.
The Master was restless, a dangerous problem when combined with a frustrated Doctor. "You could help you know," he huffed.
The Master looked at him, smiled widely and went back to what he was doing. The Doctor closed his eyes, trying not to get angry because he knew full well he would never win a fight with the Master. He bit his tongue to stop himself shouting.
The Master was watching the Doctor tinker with the TARDIS controls, pointedly ignoring the fact that he could help. It was far more fun, the Master thought, to just watch the Doctor struggle on.
