A/N: …And the story's just begun. Story inspired by "Book 8" by Hank Green. I was considering Hagrid's dad and Hagrid's mum, but that would be…awkward to write. Anyway, as usual, I'm not J.K. Rowling, because if I was, I wouldn't be on Fanfiction. Although that'd be pretty cool. So before I go off on another tangent, enjoy!
The Dark Lord glared down at his most devoted servant. If she was one of those Death Eaters who serviced him only to avoid death, like Wormtail, he would believe she had ulterior motives by telling him this. But he knew better. Resisting the urge to kill her right that moment, he looked at her calmly with eyebrows raised.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, my Lord." She had an odd glint in her eyes, a mixture of worry, pride, and the lustful look that always showed up when she was around him.
For once, he wasn't sure what else he could say. "Leave," he told her.
As usual, she did exactly what he told her to.
He was torn between killing her, banishing her from the ranks of the Death Eaters for the next nine months, disowning the child, and just letting the child be born into the Death Eaters to forever serve him, unknowing where it came from.
Killing her would not help him; it would only take one Death Eater from his followers.
Banishing her would do the same.
Disowning the child would, for nine months, take one Death Eater away, but return her to the ranks of his followers quickly.
And he couldn't even fathom keeping it.
But then he could also kill it. He'd never had any trouble killing people or babies before.
Other than…But he couldn't think of Potter.
He'd just have to banish it. It would live in an orphanage like he did and would grow up unknowing.
Yes, that would benefit him the most. And that was all he cared about.
A/N: I like the idea, it was just hard to make this a somewhat substantial chapter. I'm not sure when I'll update...I'm working on a different story at the moment. But trust me, it won't be more than a week or two. I can't update at all this week, because I'll be at camp, but I will update when I can. R&R in the meantime!
