"Anthony! Enough! Put the girl down!" Hagrid bellowed at the Vampire.
Anthony hissed at Hagrid and reliantly realised me.
"Now bring her back down here" Hagrid demanded.
"You always spoil my fun Hagrid" Anthony snarled.
Hagrid glared at him. Anthony sighed and grabbed me by my waist again and jumped back down to the ground.
"Kate are you alright!" Reia asked me
"Oh yeah, fine, I didn't almost become a Vampire meal" I replied sarcastically.
Anthony laughed.
"A meal! No my darling, I would have made you my bride" Anthony smirked sniffing my hair
"Enough Anthony" Hagrid said before I could reply back to Anthony.
He hissed again at Hagrid.
"You know why I'm here don't ya?" Hagrid asked
"Yes, yes of course" Anthony replied putting his hand up as if it was no big deal
"What are you doing around these parts anyways?" Hagrid asked.
"You know… Fresh meat" Anthony said smiling at me and Reia
I shivered
"Dumbledore told me to tell you and the rest of you guys to leave these parts of the woods." Hagrid told him
Anthony sighed
"That Dumbledore, always ruining my fun too" Anthony sighed. "Maybe I don't want to leave"
"Dumbledore said that you guys should remember what he did for you back in the days" Hagrid quickly replied.
Anthony hissed and spat on the ground
"He can't throw that in our face forever Giant!" Anthony yelled at Hagrid.
"As long as he's alive, he doesn't want you in these parts Anthony! You are too close to the castle, making it easier to fall into temptations" Hagrid bellowed.
Anthony and Hagrid glared at each other.
"On one condition" Anthony finally said.
"What's that" Hagrid asked.
"I want those fucking dragons out of our parts of the woods" Anthony hissed.
"Deal" Hagrid quickly replied.
Anthony Hissed and then he was gone.
"Thar we be gals, all done. Let's go back to the castle" Hagrid told us starting to walk back towards the castle.
"So, what was the point of us coming on this little adventure then?" Reia asked
"Anthony wouldn't have shown himself if he you gals haven't been here. He has a sore spot for the pretty ones" Hagrid said
"So, we were bait then" I asked
"Yes" Hagrid confirmed.
Reia and I exchanged glances
"I think I hate Snape now too" I commented.
The next couple of days were just about as uneventful as four people trying to take an egg away from a dragon.
The Slytherin's were upset that Harry Potter didn't die in the first task, but they have bets on that the second task will be the one that will do him in. I choose to ignore the whole situation; I have better things to worry about like my play list for the ball.
Dumbledore found me a band and we start rehearsals next week.
"Will you stop daydreaming and help me with this potions homework!" Reia growled at me.
"What's with you tonight?" I asked Reia stretching my arms in the air.
"I'm stressing about finals okay!" Reia snapped at me.
"Finals aren't until June" I explained raising one eyebrow.
"You are way too stressed out. Here drink this" I said while tossing her a vial full of red liquid.
"What's this?" Reia asked.
"Just drink it" I smirked.
Reia shrugged, and drank it down.
"Feel better?" I asked.
"Yeah, I do! What was that!" Reia asked.
"Fruit Punch" I replied putting one of my headphones in my ear.
"WHO THE HELL WALKS AROUND WITH A VIAL OF FRUIT PUNCH IN THERE POCKET!" Reia hollered.
"Calm down, you're going to ruin the effect of the fruit punch." I giggled.
Reia glared at me
"Well honestly Reia, you're freaking out over nothing" I explained to her.
Reia sighed.
"It's not finals I'm worried about" Reia admitted.
I took my headphone out of my ear.
"What?" I asked her
Reia sighed
"I'm late" Reia confessed.
I raised an eyebrow and looked at the clock
"Late for what?" I asked
"No, Kate… Geez! Get there faster!" Reia exclaimed.
I sat there and thought about it for a second, and then it hit me like a tidal wave of shock.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT!" I hollered
"You want to say that a bit louder! I don't think the north side of the castle heard you!" Reia hissed at me
I quickly looked around the library too see if anyone was looking at us. It was deserted.
"Do you know for sure!" I asked her
"No, I just no that I'm late, and if I am pregnant, I don't even know who the father is" Reia told me looking down in shame.
I reached across the study table and grabbed her hand
"It's going to be okay Reia" I reassured her.
I saw a single tear fall down Reia's face.
"Come with me, There's one way to find out" I said grabbing her by the arm and dragging her out of the library.
I dragged her to the hospital ward. There were kids sleeping in the hospital beds and there was only a dim light illuminating the room.
"Kate, what are we doing here?" Reia whispered to me.
I put my index finger to my lips in a silent "shhh"
We tip toed to the cupboard in the corner.
"Alohomora" I whispered
The cupboard door unlocked. I opened it and started looking for something.
"Give me some light" I told Reia
"Lumos" Reia whispered as she held her wand up to give me some light.
"Ah, here it is" I said grabbing a tiny black bottle.
"Who's there?" Someone asked from behind us.
I quickly pocketed the bottle as we turned around and saw Madam Pomfry walking towards us. Some of the kids woke up, rubbing there eyes, wondering what's going on.
"Um, we were…" I started to say.
"Ugh, Madam Pomfry, I think you gave me too much of that bone re-growth stuff!" One of the kids complained.
Madam Pomfry sighed
"Just leave girls, I have too much work to do" she said walking towards the complaining kid.
Reia and I exhaled and left the room quickly and headed towards the Slytherin common room.
"Just prick your finger and drop a couple of drops in this bottle" I explained to Reia, closing my bedroom door.
I handed her a safety pin. She looked at the pin and then at me.
"Trust me, you want to know if you're pregnant don't you?" I asked
"Yeah I guess I do" She whispered.
She flinched away as she dug the sharp end on the safety pin into her index finger. Blood started trickling out.
"Quick, drop some blood in the bottle" I urged.
" I don't know if I want to know Kate" Reia said in a panicked voice.
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Well what if I am, what if this is were my life stops? I'm not ready to be a mom" Reia cried out.
"You're going to find out sooner or later Reia" I replied back to her.
Reia slowly nodded her head and closed her eyes as her dripped a couple of drops of blood in the black bottle.
A yellow puff of smoke emerged from the bottle and quickly disappeared.
"What does that mean?" Reia asked.
I smirked
