Tokka Week 2020 Day 1: Jealousy/Grief: Sokka awakes to a knock at his door, and emotions run high when he receives an unexpected visitor. Oh...and Toph really wants pickles.

She was gentle and beautiful and kind. She was a murderer. Who is one and the same? Ursa. Another look at the woman who changed the fate of a nation and never seems to get any credit. Here is her version. Will deviate from canon.

Every once in a while, when they're out late, the moon will catch her in just the right way. Sokka thinks Yue is trying to tell him something. Yet as Toph sends him a beckoning smile over her shoulder, moonlight glinting against her skin, Sokka pushes the message away. [Tokka, told through lenses of jealousy. Mentions of Lin and Su. "Oh, I don't know," Azula said, shrugging nonchalantly, though her eyes glinted with a malicious mirth. "But if I had to guess… Maybe it had something to do with the royal advisors talking about what a shame it is that someone as dull and plain as her is going to be the next Fire Lady of our great country -" Zuko didn't wait for her to finish. He who has fought against Sozin, against, Azulon, against Iroh, and against Ozai. Against a Dynasty. Before he was King, Ba Sing Se was the jewel of the Earth Kingdom. But, during his reign Omashu has flourished. King Bumi-Si.

"But at least we have now," Zuko murmured. "Let's make it count." Aang nodded, giving them both a radiant smile. "Always." And as Katara pressed another kiss to Aang's cheek while Zuko placed one on his forehead, she knew they'd make it work. As long as it made Aang happy… well, she and Zuko would do anything. Zuko turns out to be a cultivator, Katara learns what an "arbuz" is and everything becomes just a little bit sweeter.

Zuko has finally had enough living at home. He's finally made the decision to run away and create a life for himself away from his family. Along the way, he meets someone who will be able to become the family that he has always longed for. Surviving on the streets is rough, but it's easier with a buddy. (Eventual Zukka)

A few months after Ozai's defeat, the Gaang stops at Kyoshi Island for a breather. Aang and Katara spend some time goofing off. Rated T for safety.

AU story. Story takes place under the assumption that Katara had a relationship with Azula prior to the end of the series explained through flashbacks. Things don't go quite as planned and the Fire Nation ends up winning the war and Katara is a prisoner. Terrible summary but give it a shot. Also this is a rewrite of the story Twist of Fate.

Thirteen years after the war, Sokka breaks into Zuko's courtroom with a plea to help Katara who faces certain death. Zuko abandons everything to rush to his friend's aid, but once there, he realizes that for Katara to live, he has to make a big sacrifice - one he is not ready for. Post War Zutara.

Inspired by the episode "Tales of Ba Sing Se," Tales of Team Avatar is a series of stories that follow the characters between the show's end and the "The Promise." The stories each vary in subject and tone, showing the growth of the characters and the world around them. I will write stories for Toph, Suki, Iroh, Zuko, Sokka, and Aang & Katara, but will include other characters.
