Authors Note - Back to Kate's POV

We were on the floor, sweaty and out of breath. He lightly brushed his fingers threw my hair and looked at me with those beautiful dark eyes of his. I never wanted this moment to end.

"Is this real?" I whispered, finally breaking the silence.

"I hope so" Snape replied back.

This is how my first time should have been. Fulfilled, satisfied... and with Severus Snape. A wave of guilt hit me. Should I just tell him?

"I better be heading back, Sirius is going to be pissed when he finds out I'm not there" I mumbled.

He slowly pulled himself out of me and stood up. He held out his hand and helped me up; my legs were still a little shaky.

"Well if he's already going to be mad, then you might as well spend the night." Snape suggested.

He tried to pull me closer, but I held out my hand to stop him.

"I need to go." I whispered.

"Kate?" He asked concerned.

My hand started to shake as I try to hold tears back. I felt like I've betrayed him by not being his first.

"Please, tell me what I did wrong." Snape insisted.

"It's not you." I replied as I started putting my underwear back on.

"Then tell me what's going on." Snape said.

I felt the tears coming. I tried as quickly as I could to put my bra back on, but Snape grabbed my hand.

"Kate..." he said looking into my eyes.

How could you not know when you can see all my secrets with just a glance into my eyes?

"You're not my first..." I mumbled.

Snape let go of my hand and stepped back.

"What?" he asked.

A single tear escaped from me.

"It was stupid, and I regret every moment of that night and I wish with everything I have that I could take it back." I said to him.

I continued to clasp my bra and picked up my dress.

"I'm so sorry..." I whispered

"Kate..." He finally said back.

I wiped away another tear that escaped and slid my dress up over top of myself. I walked towards the door, but he grabbed onto my arm.

"Kate, stop please." He insisted.

I obeyed. I turned around; warm salty tears filled my eyes.

"You're not my first either..." Snape replied.

My stomach turned to ice as shock took over my emotions rather than sorrow.

"It was a long time ago, I loved this other woman... and... she married someone else. I was so upset that I started drinking... and, well there was this one woman in the bar and we started talking and drinking some more and... Well one thing led to another..." Snape informed me.

I stood there trying to absorb what he had just told me.

"But, I thought you said..." I started to say.

"It was true...I don't know much about sex and relationships... I don't remember that night too well... I just remember waking up in the morning next to her." Snape said letting go of my arm.

I took a deep breath in. Might as well say this while we're being honest.

"That night, when you caught me after hours... drunk..." I admitted.

He raised an eyebrow

"I was really drunk, and I was blacking out and I woke up and he was on top of me and I tried to get him to stop, but he was already finished." I said looking down.

"Who was it?" Snape asked angrily.

I shook my head.

"I don't think that matters now." I replied.

Snape wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to his bare chest.

"Even if you were my first, do you think it would have actually matter to me that you weren't mine?" Snape asked me.

I looked up at him.

"I thought that it might." I replied.

"You worry too much." He said kissing my forehead.

"I just didn't want to hurt you." I replied.

"You hurt me when you cry." He said wiping my face gently.

I smiled.

"There's the smile I love to see" he murmured.

"I still better go." I replied

"I'll walk you to the end of the street." Snape said walking towards the door.

"Severus..." I said.

"Yes?" He replied turning around.

"You're going to go outside naked?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

I took off my high heels as I walked threw the door into Sirius' house. I slowly closed the door behind me and sneaked down the hallway.

"I'm glad too see you're alright." Sirius said.

I stopped and turned towards the dining room. He was sitting at the table with his legs crossed and a cup of tea in his hand.

"Uh, hey...Sirius... dad... I was... just..." I tried to explain.

"I want to meet him and that's final." He said taking a sip of his tea.

"I don't know what you're talking about; I was just... going for a walk." I lied.

"Uh huh... I want to meet him kid. He must mean a lot to you if you're willing to risk your life sneaking out of the house to see him" He said setting down his cup of tea.

"Sirius... There is no one." I lied again.

"So you went for a walk in that black dress and high heels?" He asked

I looked down at the high heels in my hand.

"Yes?" I replied

He stood up and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.

"I want to meet him... and you're grounded." He smirked.

"Grounded?" I repeated

"Yeah, a wonderful benefit of being your father." He said pinching my cheek.

"Great..." I muttered.

"Get to bed young miss, and I'm very serious about meeting your boyfriend." He said releasing.

"Goodnight." I smirked as I kisses him on the cheek.

I started walking up the stairs.

"Goodnight kid." He replied back.

I started walking up the stairs, but not to my room... to Reia's. She was sleeping on her back with her hand over her face when I walked in. I slowly closed the door behind me and then did a running jump at her bed and landed on her.

"WHATS GOING ON!" She yelled sitting up in the bed.

"Shh Reia, it's just me!" I giggled.

"Kate! You're back! How did it go!" She said turning a lamp beside the bed.

"It went... okay." I said sitting up against the headrest.

"Did you guys fuck at least?" She asked.

"Oh yeah, we did it on his floor." I replied smiling.

"Okay, no need for the sarcasm." She said rolling her eyes.

I looked at her.

"Reia... we fucked on his floor." I repeated.

Her eyes widened.

"WHAT!" She yelled

"REIA, SHHHH" I said covered her mouth.

She tried to talk to me threw my hand.

"Reia you have to keep quiet." I insisted.

She pushed my hand away.

"Kate! How was he? How big was he? Oh my GOD I want details!" She said jumping on top of me.

"Reia, he is amazing... in every way." I replied with a sigh.

"DETAILS!" She exclaimed.

I explained mostly everything to Reia, excluding the whole... conversation at the end.

"Aw, you guys are so cute." She said when I finished.

"Yeah, but Sirius is hell bent on meeting my boyfriend." I sighed.

"Well that's easy." Reia smirked.

"Easy! You think me...telling Sirius that I'm dating a person he absolutely hates." I exclaimed.

"Why does it have to be Snape that you're dating?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Oh my god... okay... why don't you just bring home a random boy to meet Sirius and SAY that he's your boyfriend?" She explained.

A huge smile broke out on my face.

"Reia! You are a genius!" I said hugging her.

"Oh, I know." She replied.

"But... where are we going to find a boy to play along?" I asked.

Reia smirked and winked.

"You leave that to me doll face." She replied.

Even though I was grounded from... pretty much everything... I still walked around the house in a good mood. Reia and I walked into the dining room the next evening after the Order had finished their meeting.

"How was the meeting Sirius?" I asked pouring some coffee into a cup.

"More witches and wizards have been going missing..." He replied.

"Sirius, I don't think it's appropriate to be discussing this with your daughter." Mrs. Weasley commented.

"I think she's old enough to know what's going on Molly." Sirius replied.

"Sirius, honestly..." She started to say.

"Molly, I may not have been a parent as long as you and Arthur, but I would appreciate it if you don't tell me how to raise my daughter." Sirius snapped.

The room went silent. I took a quiet sip of my coffee.

"This coffee is delicious." I said finally breaking the silence.

Sirius smirked.

"Yes, Molly is rather talented when it comes to coffee." Sirius replied.

"Honestly Mrs. Weasley, this coffee is brilliant." I commented

She smiled.

"Kate's boyfriend is coming tomorrow night." Reia blurted out."Reia!" I exclaimed.

"Excellent" Sirius commented.

"Oh god..." I said hiding my face with my one hand.

"Is this the boy she's been sneaking out of the house to see?" Lupin asked.

"You told them!" I exclaimed at Sirius

Reia smirked.

"Reia! YOU TOLD THEM?" I yelled.

"Oh come on Katie, it's about time people meet the boy you've been sneaking off with." She said.

I glared at her.

"How serious are you two?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

"I'm not getting into this..." I said putting my coffee cup down.

"I'm just finally glad you admitted that you have a boyfriend." Sirius smirked.

"Can we just stop talking about this?" I said sitting next to Lupin.

"So Reia, how cute is he?" Tonks asked

"Please stop..." I groaned.

"He is adorable!" Reia smirked.

I rested my head on the table.

"Please kill me now." I moaned into the table.

"Reia, can you at least tell me the boy's name?" I asked as she applied lip balm to my lips.

"Are names really that important?" She commented

"Reia..." I groaned.

"His name is Claude and he's from Russia." She said standing back from me as if she's was admiring her own artwork.

"Is this the boy you met?" I asked.

"Duh, what other boys do I know from Russia?" She replied.

"Knowing you... I can't be too sure." I said raising an eyebrow.

We heard a knocking at the door.

"Kate! Your boyfriend is here!" Sirius yelled up the stairs.

"I really wish he would stop embarrasing me." I groaned.

"What kind of dad would he be if he didn't embarrass you?" Reia commented.

We walked down the stairs. I saw a blonde haired blue eyed boy standing there holding a dozen pink roses.

"He's cute" I whispered to Reia.

"Very much so." She whispered back to me.

We reached the bottom of the stairs. Claude grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"Ah, Kate... it's been to long yes?" He said

I blushed as he handed me the roses. Sirius leaned against the door wedge with his eyebrow raised.

"Uhh... Dad... this is... Clyde" I stammered

Reia elbowed me

"Claude, this is Claude... "I said correcting myself.

"Ah, you must be Mr. Sirius Black no?" Claude said offering his hand to Sirius.

"Charmed..." Sirius said sarcastically as he shook Claude's hand.

"Awesome, now that you guys have met, Claude can go now." I commented.

"Ah, not so fast Kate... I thought Claude would like to stay for dinner." Sirius said with a smirk.

I glanced over a Reia and wanted to punch her. She had a huge smile on her face.

"Shall we?" Sirius said leading us into the dining area.

"I think I'm going to vomit." I replied.

"Don't because you're going to ruin your make-up" Reia smirked.

We took our seats at the dining room table.

"So... Claude... its Claude isn't it? What do you do?" Sirius asked him as he took a bite out of his garlic bread.

"I just got out of the school, so I am still looking for the vork." Claude said in his Russian accent.

"So how did you and my daughter meet?" Sirius asked.

Claude glanced at Reia and me.

"We met when the other schools came for the Triwizard Tournament." I lied.

Reia nodded.

"I see" Sirius replied.

"Ve vent to the ball together." Claude added.

I closed my eyes.

"I thought Kate sang at the ball." Sirius said raising an eyebrow.

"We still... danced together on the first song... and ate dinner together." I quickly lied.

Sirius nodded and shoved some spaghetti in his mouth. I noticed Reia rubbing Claude's leg. I shot her a dirty look and she quickly removed her hand.

"So Claude... what are exactly your intentions with my daughter?" Sirius asked.

"Dad!" I exclaimed.

"No, it's okay... I am in love vith her... and I plan on spending the rest of my life vith her." Claude answered grabbing my hand and kissing it.

"Love eh?" Sirius said looking at me.

"Sure is..." I said smiling.

"Dinner is over. Claude, it was a pleasure meeting you, but you may leave." Sirius said standing up from the table.

"Wait. What?" I said standing up as well.

"Kate, can I have a word with you in the other room?" Sirius asked me.

I glanced at Reia and Claude, and then followed Sirius to the next room.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Do you honestly think I'm stupid?" Sirius asked me.

"What... no of course not." I replied.

"He's not your boyfriend." Sirius said.

"Yes, he is!" I replied.

"Oh yeah?" Sirius said nudging his head towards the dining room.

I turned around and Claude was pretty much eating Reia's face.

"Nice try kid, I want to meet your REAL boyfriend." Sirius said messing up my hair.

"It's honestly not going to happen." I replied, trying to fix my hair.

"Look, Kate... I don't understand why this is a big deal to you." Sirius commented.

"No, I don't understand why you're making a big deal about this." I replied.

"I just want too meet him, that's all." Sirius exclaimed.

"You wouldn't understand." I said.

"Understand what?" He asked.

"Nothing..." I mumbled.

"What is he some sort of Werewolf or something, because I'm pretty open to that. Lupin's a Werewolf and he's my best mate!" Sirius informed me.

"Lupin's a werewolf?" I asked.

"Don't change the subject. What's wrong with him?" Sirius asked.

"You just... wouldn't approve." I commented.

"Try me" Sirius smirked.

"Honestly... I already know." I informed him.

"Is he a vampire?" Sirius asked.

"No..." I replied

"Then what? I will approve of anybody or anything; I just want to know that you're happy and safe with this man." Sirius said.

Anybody but Severus Snape.

"I can't..." I replied.

"Do you not trust me?" He asked me

"I do, honestly Sirius... but this just isn't going to happen." I said turning away.

"Kate... please..." Sirius pleaded.

It broke my heart to deny Sirius anything, but I couldn't tell him I was with his school rival. I turned around to face him.

"I love you, and I'm sorry I lied that Clyde was my boyfriend." I whispered.

"I love you too kid...and I'm pretty sure his name is Claude." Sirius said quietly.

I smirked and then walked upstairs leaving Sirius wondering...
