How will Legolas and Young Thorin, son of Dain, get along together and will they object to being used in this way?

Thorin's sister Dis is beautiful, confident, and in love with Dwalin. But fate has never been kind to the last Heirs of Durin. (this is a prequel to 'Belong', a story I wrote about Fili and Kili as boys. I wanted to go back and develop Dis and her husband as strong characters with their own history.)
