In a desperate attempt to escape the pain of heartbreak, Korra does the unthinkable- she self-harms. What will happen if Mako finds out? What if she goes too far? What if Asami finds out? Bolin had been shot down by the Avatar. After that, the commander of the United Forces and possible heir to the Fire Throne was small potatoes. Like those ones they served at Foggy Swamp Tribe restaurants, with the crisp jackets and the buttery texture underneath when you peeled them off. Bolin/Iroh, in case that wasn't clear?

Amon survives the boat explosion and is captured by the Equalists; now led by the Lieutenant. The Lieutenant wants to make him pay for his betrayal. Slash, prompt fill.

Originally written for The Scarf series, but it doesn't fit the feeling. Bolin hears some lingo and Mako ends up giving a very awkward sex talk. I giggled while writing it. Strong T for themes and sexual lingo.

"Put your arms around me..." She wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head under his chin. "Like this?" His smile spread wider as he heard her heart beat faster. "Perfect." Tenzin/Pema

It was sobering, the feeling of the pulsing vein beneath her lips, its steady rhythm, and the realization that no matter how strong they were, they're still human, and that makes them vulnerable.
