Children

I started walking to Molly's farm, heart pounding and mind racing. I saw Paolo and Chloe on my way, holding hands and blushing. If children can confess how they feel, I know I can.

"Be fearless, Toby, like a child," I pep-talked myself.

I can do this…I can tell her how I feel…I am not a loser.

I'm not.

As soon as I was in front of her, I blurted, "Molly, there's something I have to say. I can't-"

"T-Toby, I love you," she cut in.

I stood there in shock as she stared at me intently, awaiting a response.

Wow, this was thrown together, and terribly, at that. :(

Toby, don't you realize wanting to be like a child is a bit…ah, never mind. You're too dang cute to correct, and you somehow pull it off! :P
