Birth
I witnessed Paolo's birth seven years ago. I was 16 at the time, and it scarred me for life. His mom was in labor for 48 hours – do you realize how long that is? That is two days of pushing and pulling and dilations and contraptions, or whatever they are. How she did that without passing out is beyond me. I don't know how I got stuck there with my aunt in labor, but all I remember was being deeply disturbed as I saw things I never wanted to see and had my eardrums blown out.
I don't like childbirth.
Sadly, this is all I could come up with for this chapter. Sorry about this disturbing blob of words.
By the way, I know that "contraptions" is not the word – it's "contractions". I just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't that hopelessly confused.
