I got inspiration for this story from Sloganmaker. I typed in James Potter and it told me "There's something about James Potter you'll like." XD

Lily Evans was dreaming. What you may ask? Well, let's delve into her mind and find out!

Lily was walking through a fairground. It was only semi-full but laughter could be heard from all directions. Lily was exploring the Art Market section. Rain was beginning to fall and several artists were distressed about their paper creations. Lily breathed deeply, the clean smell of fresh water tickling making her grin.

She pulled the hood of her windbreaker around her face. Shielding her hair from the wetness. As much as she loved rain Lily wasn't big on wind. It only tangled her hair and chapped her skin.

And Lily was wearing shorts. Goosebumps were popping up. Cursing herself she ran to find shelter.

This refuge was found in a musty fortune teller's tent. The canvas was purple with yellow stars, and the stale cigarette smoke was overpowering. Lily was turning to leave, deciding to seek out a better place to hide from the icy gales, when a voice piped up behind her.

"Hello child, come to learn about your future?" Freezing Lily looked to see a small woman with straggly white hair, dressed in dirty yellow sundress.

"Oh, well not really I was just-"

"Nonsense! Who doesn't wish to know about their future? Come child, sit down!" Lily did not want to sit down. This lady was a muggle, no question about it. It would only be a waste of money to learn about a future that would never happen.

The woman grabbed Lily's hand and dragged her over. Pushing the redhead into a dingy orange armchair.

"Now, tell me your name." The little woman had such a serious look on her face Lily almost laughed.

"Lily. Lily Evans."

"Well Lily Evans, let me get my crystal ball." The woman peered under the table and hoisted a large ball of misty liquids onto the table. She stared into, a look of confusion crossed her face.

"Well Miss Evans I see many things will come your way after school. You'll marry and fight a war. That's very brave."

Well... Lily did have plans to fight a war. Deciding to humor the woman, Lily questioned her. "Who will I marry?"

"According to the facts, James Potter." Lily started choking.

"Wha- What! I hate him!"

The woman smiled like she held a secret, "Maybe you do now, but there's something about James Potter you'll like."
