The Careers get annoyed
It was the second day of the hunger games and Clove was bored. She hadn't killed anyone since the bloodbath and was starting to loose her patience. She was seriously considering killing off some of her allies for fun when Callie, the girl from district 4 came over to her. "Hey Clove" she said "wanna do something fun" she asked, smiling mischievously. "Yeah sure, what shall we do" asked Clove wondering what she was planning. "I'll be back in a minute" said Callie sprinting away into the woods. A few minutes later Callie still hadn't returned, Clove was starting to wonder where she had gone when all of a sudden all the mockingjays in the forest began singing. "I know a song that will get on your nerves, get on your nerves, get on your nerves.I know a song that will get on your nerves and this is how it goes!" "What the hell?" yelled Cato staring at the mockingjays in shock. Clove burst out laughing as Callie returned to the camp, a huge grin on her face. this was going to be fun!
"How long will they do this for?" asked Clove. "No idea" laughed Callie as Glimmer tried unsuccessfully to shoot a nearby mockingjay. "Why wont they stop?" whined Glimmer clasping her hands over her ears. "Make them stop Cato" she pleaded. Cato, who was getting very annoyed, attempted to stab a nearby mockingjay. Unfortunately he overbalenced and fell in to the lake swearing loudly until he was knocked unconscious by his sword falling down on his head. "i can't take this anymore yelled Marvel shoving his head in the cornucopia in an attempt to block out the noise. Even Foxface, who had set up camp next to the careers so she could steal from them, was getting annoyed. She crawled in to a nearby cave shoving her jacket over her head. By now even Clove was getting annoyed and was violently stabbing the birds with her pet knife Stabby Mcstabbington. the only career who was still acting sanely was Callie, Clove looked at her in confusion "How the hell is this not annoying you?" she asked. "Oh there were earmuffs in the cornucopia" Callie said, smiling sweetly "Sorry, I thought you knew!"
