After convincing Amanda that Kurt would be back to his old self in a few days Jean gladly left the bathroom. Even if Jean couldn't shake the feeling Kurt's girlfriend didn't believe the fact that he didn't walk in on her.

In the hallway Jean found Kitty with her arms around Lance. "Aww, thanks!" Lance said, after making sure none of the other brotherhood members where around.

"I was going make make you some cranberry muffins-" "That's okay Kitty." Lance kindly cut her off, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh I know! But I wanted to give you a treat since you're always eating Blob's food!" "Yeah..." came Lance's replay shuffling his brown bag lunch from sight. (Containing a peppered turkey and aged Swiss with a lemon glaze on sourdough bread. And a Twinkie.)

"OMG! The mansion has been so crazy lately! I'll tell you over lunch" Kitty continued without missing a beat, taking her boyfriend's hand and leading/dragging him to the lunchroom.

"Yeah..." Said Lance again, not moving his feet as the disappointment covered Kitty's face. "Lunch detention again?"

"Yeah, apparently Ms. Smith was so impressed with my impression of her she wanted a lunch date. Haha...hey don't give me that look I'll call you after dinner tonight."

With a quick kiss the couple parted, spotting Jean Kitty walked over and side by side to the lunchroom. At the door Jean felt her companion stiffen. Looking at Shadowcat the elder saw every patch of her skin beet red. Thinking quick Jean scanned the room for Rogue and finding her made her tray of food land on the nearest empty table.

"What the hell ya think you're doing?" Rogue asked Jean telepathily, shooting her a nasty look. "This morning has hit Kitty, I AM NOT DOING THIS ALONE!" Rogue just rolled her eyes and set down with her tray of food. Jean gently lead seemingly numb Kitty to the table.

Upon reaching the table Kitty promptly put her head on the moaned loudly. Jean and Rogue stared at each other across the table daring the other poke the emotionally unstable girl. But it was Tabby's signature cackle which roused them all from their state of mind.

"Sounds like someone was saving water this morning in the shower, hun Kitty?" Boom Boom said smirking down to the trio of girls, Amara was standing sheepishly in the background.

"Ugh! If screaming like a psycho saves water" came Kitty's reply, lifting her head off the table. "Well if you were reenacting Psycho there would have been been chocolate syrup!" Rogue interjected to the confused looks of her friends.

"Psycho? The old Hitchcock film? ...I miss Risty..." With that Tabby and Amara left, and Kitty got talkative.

"Kurt has a four pack! Did you know that? I know it's not a six pack but that's impressive for a 15 year old, I mean Lance is 16 and doesn't have that, I don't think... kinda feels like a gut, I haven't really seen it...OMG and Kurt is so furry! I knew he was blue everywhere but fuzzy too! Even down there...! How awkward!"

"Should we tell her?" Rogue asked Jean telepathically. Jean thought a moment than answered: "I think it'd be better not to tell her, might scare her off boys for awhile."
