Whoa, I had no idea it's been so since I uploaded, I'll try to get some stuff out to ya'll. Sorry for then lack of fluffy-ness in the chapter, what can I say? This thing actually has a storyline, almost.
Just as Jean expected the Professor's voice rang inside her head just after Scott drove her though the mansion's gates. "Jean, I'd like to speak in my study." "Ugh!" Jean moaned making everyone in the car jump.
"It's just The Professor." A chorus of "OOOooo"s followed Jean as she rolled her eyes but never the less bolted from Scott's car. Jean gave a weak smile to Beast who just nodded to the Xavier's study, upon reaching the door she didn't even have to knock before it opened.
"Please take a seat" The Professor gestured before the Red Head had taken a step over the threshold. "Professor I am so sorry, but-" Jean's mile long reply was cut off by Xavier's raised hand.
"Jean" the teacher looked over his knitted fingers at his student. "Your parents are very proud of you, and they have decided to give you a car of your choice as an early birthday and graduation gift." Jean was speechless so the Professor continued. "I have no objections to this, as long as you meet your parent's guidelines and graduate."
"I-I totally understand" Jean stammered, not believing her good luck. "You're free to go." The elder telepath informed the younger. Jean was so excited that she didn't notice The Professor answer the phone with a "Hello Reverend Craig".
"I take it you heard the good news?" Storm asked Jean once she entered the foyer with a ear to ear grin on her face. "I can't believe I'm getting a car! It'll need a big back seat."
Jean realized her mistake the moment she spoke it. "I mean to take the load of Scott!"
"I mean carpooling!"
