Please read, follow, review, etc etc. Hetalia doesn't belong to me :D
I can't tell you when I must have fallen asleep next to him. All I know is that the next thing I knew, Dan was standing in the doorway. Rather, he barged in with a loud knock (and not waiting for an answer) then stood there, aghast, at the sight in front of him. It wouldn't have changed anything much if he had waited for an answer because Ice was such a deep sleeper. A sleeping Ice in my bed, whether I was awake or not, would not look good. Maybe it was worse that Dan found me snuggled up to Ice, but it really wasn't that much different.
Dan did a quick 180 and dashed down the hall and out the door. I heard the front door slam. At this, several of my books on the shelf shook, two of them falling down on their sides. The subtle thud, however, was somehow enough to wake Iceland. Sleepily rubbing his eyes, he muttered with a slur, "what?"
I walked up next to him and explained the situation, about how I'd fallen asleep as well, and Dan had barged in to find us sleeping... well, together. Ice blushed slightly, lowering his gaze. He then whispered to me, "we weren't actually 'sleeping together,' were we?"
"Of course not! I was watching you sleep so peacefully but I fell asleep too and I guess... while I was asleep I... cuddled you." My words started with such energy but fell short and slowed down to a low murmur. I shook it off in my head and regained my composure. "Never mind that. Let's go get our dumb brother before he does anything dumber than he usually does."
We left the house in search for Denmark. Our first stop was his favorite place to drink. I'd guessed that he'd probably drink to forget, and why not do it here where he has friends? We entered the bar, greeted by a very loud (and drunk) Prussia.
"KESESESESE! YOU GUYS CAME TO BASK IN MY GLORY? WELL, LUCKY FOR YOU, I'VE ONLY JUST BEGUN!"
Ice coldly acknowledged him with a "k" and walked past him. He didn't seem to take offense to that, but decided to ingest yet another large beer. From the redness of his face, I'd guess that he was on his 30th or 40th beer by now. I walked up to Germany and Austria quietly talking in the corner and asked, "have you seen my brother recently?" Austria chuckled. "Have you seen his brother recently?" He asked as he looked towards Germany then Prussia. Germany's blushing scowl attacked Austria, but quickly returned to a more neutral expression. "No, can't say I have. I've been here all day babysitting these two children," Germany said, his tone getting slightly annoyed near the end. Austria gave a small laugh once more. "Oh, you have been babysitting us? That's not the way I recall the events between 9 and 10 am, Mr. 'Let Me Drink All The Alcohol In This Pub.'" Germany exhaled sharply, trying to conceal anger. "Anyways," he said through clenched teeth, "no luck here. Try somewhere else."
aaaaand that's it for now. Til next time, HASTA LA PASTA~
