Gojyo bolted up in his bed. "Hey, did you hear something?"

There was no reply.

Annoyed, Gojyo clicked his tongue and threw one of his boots at the sleeping mass snoring in the next bed. He tried asking against when he heard the startled cry;

"I asked if you heard something, monkey."

Goku groaned as he sat up too, rubbing his head as he kicked the blankets (and Gojyo's boot) off him. "Does your stupid voice count?"

Goyjo was about to retort when he heard it again. It echoed in the hallway outside — a woman's laugh that slowly descended into weeping.

"Wasn't this cabin abandoned?" Goku whispered, clutching onto a pillow.

Gojyo was about to reply when something thumped slowly against their door.

THUMP THUMP THUMP

They took a moment to stare at one another in frozen silence. Then;

"SANZOOO!"
