Chapter 5:

Qiuyue had been through stupid things in life, but when she had been kidnapped by the Bean and then ended up leaving to the past, was utterly ridiculous.

If you want me to continue this quick fast forward chapter to more of the story, let me know. Otherwise this story will be concluded as an end. Just one person even. Anyways hope anybody will enjoy this, and do remember the past is changeable as much as the future, although her presence in this timeline does effect the future.. :3

Chapter 5:

I rolled my eyes as I leaned against the wall watching the horizon turned to beautiful pink hues. My heart wasn't falling for the Prince of Darkness, nor was I going to love him. My only desire was to gain more power and place my foot in history and make myself a name to remember. I hated that I was nobody but Empress Wu Xetian, Zhao Feiyan, Empress Wei and Empress Lü . And I forgot to not add: Hua Mulan, Qin Liangyu,

My most favorite had been Empress Wu Zetian, how she had climbed, back stabbed, plotted her way to the top made her my idol. If she could do something like that, then surely I will fight for my rights as a woman. Despite this age and the horrid cruelty everybody faced, I had to prevent myself from that happening.

I roamed the field aimlessly searching for anything to entertain my mind, I had to find something that would make my inner pleased. I found by a river side that long haired red hair woman with her feet in the river, staring at the fish that swam by. I wandered over to her quietly, I felt the gentle air caress my skin softly. One thing I loved was that I could manipulate air a little bit, I believe forget about fire, water and earth.

"Do you want to play a game?" I asked her as I leaned next to her ear, she jumped to her feet and threw her fist towards my face. I leaped away from her and flipped my long hair back from my face, peering at her playfully. "Ah, I see that you do..Alright, let's play a game!"

She narrowed her eyes, beginning to chant unfamiliar words that fell on my ears in foreign words. I didn't understand one word she spoke but I did figure that she was casting a spell. A shiver ran up my spin and my heart raced, I felt my body jerk towards her with my hands stretched out, before I knew it was my hand wrapped around her tiny neck, her bright ember eyes staring at me in shock. "What are you?" She asks me lowly, before throwing me back by her magic. I was enticed by her control of magic, I had to have her teach me more about it.

"And who are you, witch?!" I snapped at her, my ears picking up on her rapid heartbeat threw her chest.

She struggled against my grip, I didn't know what made me this strong and so quickly either. I glanced around the field before peering in her green eyes, full of young magic. I didn't understand how I knew these things either, was I granted some sort of knowledge by my dragon side? I certainly am content.

"Quiyue, as you now know. Who are you witch?" I couldn't stop back holding my snide tone, this women would disturb my piece if she didn't answer. I watched as she looked me over and then stared at my face, her eyes rose in disbelief before letting out a low chuckle. "Oh, so another dragon? How cute. Alright, I'll tell you. I'm Wuya, not just a witch!" she retorted placing a hand on her voluptuous hip, her hourglass frame made me envy her a little bit.

"Alright, Wuya. I think I like you, but tell me...What do you mean another dragon?" I watched as she looked me over again before smirking. "There's another one like you, Quiyue. But he's stronger than you, you're Heylin magic is weak. Who trained you?"

I bit back my laugh, I turned around and watch as the sun set in the sky. "Somebody pathetic I must state. Would you train me any better, hm?"

"Wait, tell me. The Bean trained you, he took Chase away from me. But I have you now, I guess" She murmurs lowly, more in thought than to me.

I let out sigh, which I believed which made Wuya confirm her suspicion. "We will start immediately then, as I fear that ..."

She trained me for several months, I learned her tricks of the trade. I made sure to remember her moves for future reference, I had to figure out a way to defeat her if she got in my way one day.

I begun to see Wuya as a close friend, a sister nearly. I never truly had a sister that cared for me, not even a family to say the truth. "Wuuuuuyyyaaaaa, did you see that!" I shouted pointing at the sky as a huge dragon flew across the cloudless sky. The scales looked just as young as me, a toddler in dragon years, if I read the real information in my own present.

A big whoosh of wind pushed me forward, I turned around to watch a figure approach me menacingly. I could smell him anywhere, his own earthly scent entering my nostrils. I smirked at his appearance, "Tell me, how did you find me? We still have a few days till we fight" I announce ecstatically.

"No, it was yesterday. I believed you were a coward, but my master wants to train you. I will be forced to take you back by force" He informs me calmly, his new wild eyes staring at me. I noticed that his scaled were a little more prominent then before. I let out a hearty laugh, unable to hold it back I asked him, "And what this pathetic Bean wants me?! He can go boil in a pot for all I care!"

Chase raised a brow in mildly amused, he inclined his head. "Then I challenge you, If I win then I surely will go, but if I lose I will come along" I exclaim chirpy, for once I had no clue why I was so hyper.

The next thing I realized was that I was in the air falling, I flipped around and manipulated the air to help me land gracefully on my feet, like a cat.

I wasn't the one that initiated the fight, Chase threw one fist at another towards me, I felt my tail rip through my warrior gown and wack him across the field. He hit the ground creating a big puff of dirt in the air, he rose from the miniature crater and charged at me once again. One second he stood before me and the other he had me pinned against the only tree where Wuya stood a few feet away in shock. "Chase, let her down!" Her words didn't reach his ears.

His claws dug in my shoulder and neck, I clawed back at him and my tail uselessly pinned painfully behind me. I knew I had several cuts across my body, inches long and deep enough I needed stitches. I danced across the field full of adrenaline, I couldn't feel any pain. Every attack he threw at me calculatingly missed, he swooped for my feet and knocked me to the ground. I rolled to aside as his foot embedded in where my stomach would have been. I pushed myself to my feet and held out my hands, I moved to my stance I learned when Bean was my master. One that seemed utterly useless in this fight. One of the eight stances I used: Dragon Stance. I kicked and swung at him, he stumbled back as soon as my knee hit his stomach hardly. He begun to inflict wounds on my body and I did the same, only a few less.

I watch as my skin attempted to re-stitch themselves back together. "How did..." he breather out in awe.

"You still have a lot to learn about your...new side. I also had it longer" I teased him, "And I thought you were stronger than me and would figure it out sooner, how lame"

I watched his facial expressions grew darker, he didn't like my comments.

I back flipped several meters away from him, I wiped my bloody lip and spat the blood out. I raised my head and held my hand out watching as my skin turn to my white scales, his eyes watch in bewilderment as I transform to my real side. "Wuya, back away now!" I commanded her. I didn't feel any sort of remorse for telling her, she only nodded her head and fled several hundred feet away, but still in watching distance.

Our fight lasted awhile, although I believed that it would end soon, I felt my stamina drop and I think his has well. I pulled him to the ground with my bloody hand on his throat and his lean hand through my shoulder. I shifted back in my form, I watched him with blurry vision. He went limp against my shoulder. I couched violently and fell to the ground, his own unconscious body with me. I watched weakly as Wuya ran towards me with her hand glowing green, I didn't know that should could heal. I only remember hearing her coo me to be calm and rest as she heals me.

The next morning was awkward when I found myself bundled in a wool blanket and a fire lit several feet from me, I sat up noticing that Chase was out cold on the other side of the fire in his own blanket. Wuya was watching me like a mother hen, I wandered to hug her to death, but my roaring stomach prevented me. "The fish will be done in a few"

"Thanks" I murmured as I smiled at her tiredly. As the night grew on, we discussed a few things quietly hoping to not wake the sleeping man.

I spent the next three months sitting next to him with my hand in his, I didn't understand how this came to this. How we found then become friends and then this. I hoped that this won't stop my plans for MY future. Or our own.
"Chase...about earlier...When I kissed you, well...umm I like you and all...I. I hate this, I want to kill everybody and gahh!" She threw her fist in a tree creating a huge hole with the size of her fist.

He watched me silently, he shook his head in disbelief. He didn't understand how he would be this far and how she convinced him to betray the Bean.

"No, Quiyue. I care for you, even these months I spent with you and Wuya. It's a strange feeling, but I understand" As I remember from Bean telling me that the past was different from the future, and it;s very much ironic.

As we packed out belongings and continued on the roar ahead, I was still in shock that I had brought this odd past together, the three of us growing stronger and finding out our own way to survive, it was worse that the Bean was on our trails hotly searching for all three of us.

One night I accidentally killed a older monk when he attempted to purify Wuya with some odd magic, when her skin sizzled a little, I reacted out of primal fear for her and ripped him apart. That was when the word got out to the other monks, they found us and begun fighting us. We fled once again with deeper wounds, I couldn't stand that feeling of killing a innocent, although deep inside me I rather fancied it. I had to grow strong and not be such a little innocent bitch, I began to grow accustom and immune to bloodshed. That was when my bloodshed stained me among the villagers as an "Malicious Maiden".

Wuya and Chase grew to know me as a changing person, a trustful ally, friend and lover. I didn't know that I would go down this tasteless tale and path. One morning I grew thirsty and wanted to fetch some fish for our morning meal along with rice and some other succulent meal, but I was confronted my some young monks that resembled the monks I ran across in the future.

"Quiyue, you have committed the worse crimes by nature, you will be sentenced to death when your trial ends. Please come with us without a fight" The youngest woman stated, she had intricate braids on the top of her hair, however she had a flame tattooed on her chin spreading to her eyebrow, it was a beautiful tattoo or birthmark. Her companions appear if they are her underlings and she was the leader, it was strange to see.

"Kaiya, she won't listen, look how she's watching us bored!" The brunette male with a white spiral across his wrists and towards his neck. It looked like it was a part of a more large piece, could he be an incubate of air?

I let out a yawn and pushed the kids aside, I wasn't amused to be bothered by their existence. "No, I will not go. I have food to gather, so leave me!" I swiped my hand towards them and they were thrown back. The one who has the white spirals watch me in awe and horror, "How did...how did my element affect me?!"

"She's evil, look at her eyes! She's a Heylin!" the shortest of them all spoke, he looked really shy and nervous. When he spoke those words he hide behind the muscular man with dirt covered hands.

I left them and gathered the items, by the time I was back our home was surrounded with more monks. I wondered how they found us, there wasn't any places for miles all around us that had any monks.

"FUCK!" I snarled kicking the ground, I threw the food to the ground and ran at them in high speeds, causing that young monk from earlier to gawk.

I stood next to my two friends and glared at the monks that stood before us, they could not leave us alone? Did they find out about our plans to...WEll that's getting to far, right?

Before we fought those monks that were against us, he gave me one last kiss. A strange feeling in my heart stirred a sick loving feeling in my heart.

As soon as that ended, I was thrown back by a speak from a monk. I pulled myself off of that spear confusing everybody and myself that I survived that. I marched towards that man and grabbed him by his throat and snapped it quickly, I threw his body to a side and darted towards another. I could smell blood splatter everywhere, I only felt anger. I watched as Wuya killed several men but she was sucked in to a box.

I twisted as much as I can with this body and the wind allow, I felt that when I used more of my air that I grow stronger. I eventually figured out how to transport to short distances with my powers.

"Fight me like a man!" I shout loudly, dashing across the ground barefoot, footsteps from fallen soldiers' blood staining my feet. "Don't be a coward!" I stare longingly as a bald man with a long staff make his way towards me. I grinned widely and bee lined his way, I jumped gracefully over dead bodies and stopped before him. "Let's fight, ne?"

More of the monks surround me, old and young alike, I attempted to defend myself but Wuya castes a fire spell on them. I shouted a 'thank you' and made my way back to the master monk. He pulled something out and stared at it blankly before whispering something, I didn't know what he was doing either. The item was so beautiful and intricate that it made me want it in my hands and keep sake.

Several of the men fell dismembered, I threw their heads aside. "What's next...ohh what, can't you face DEATH?!" I bellow out, I felt my acrimony for killing them all grew heavier. I had to do something that would make us all safer.

The Grand master stared at me with pity, before he could move I felt my body succumb in a fire. I screamed continuously as it consumed me, I didn't understand what was happening to me.

"Chase! Wuya!" My words left my mouth in a panic, the one I came to care for turned to face me and reach towards me. He narrowed his own eyes, his skin begun to change.

I fell in the Earth watching as he helplessly jumped for me, I cried out: "No, leave! You have to run and...remember what I told you!" Something flickered in his eyes and he flipped around to ready his flee after injuring the Grandmaster. That wasn't his last either. One last thing I seen was a blue butterfly flapped by.

As I remember those rough lips, I couldn't believe that I would ever try to kiss Chase, and catch him off guard. I found myself back in the future where the other monks stared at me in disbelief. They asked me what had happened, I only shook my head unable to answer them for I thought of a cover story, but for the wounds that covered my body they all assumed I was in a bloody battle. I told them the lie: I got caught in a warfare that wasn't meant for me. They tried to pry into more what happened, so I made the biggest lie that I ever told.
