I wrote this while listening to Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, and Hollywood Undead, and I kept stopping to draw my Boyfriend's b-day card, flipping back and forth XD so enjoy

Raoul downed another bottle before smashing it on the ground. Meg hurried up and cleaned the broken glass.

It had been almost two years since Christine was "taken" by Erik. Everyone had searched that cave several times, never finding what had happened to the pair. Raoul had started getting drunk, no one believes that he's been sober since. His business was in ruins, his wealth spent on liquor, Meg had stayed with him, much to her mother's dismay for Raoul treated the blond poorly. But Meg was content on taking care of her "Sister's" childhood friend.

No one but Madame Giry knew what happened to the Phantom and his Angel. She planned on telling Meg, if she ever left Raoul's side. He could never know.

At the moment, Madame Giry was sitting in a plush chair, opening the letter with the skull stamp sealing it. She smiled softly at the news. Christine was with child, and they wanted her to come to their house to live with. But she couldn't leave Meg with Raoul.

She got up sliding the letter into a box that was locked after she shut it. She left the room, finding Meg, of course, with Raoul.

"Meg, I need you to come with me." She said calmly.

"But, mother." She started to complain, but Raoul stood up, bottle of beer in hand.

"She's my wife." He slurred. "What you have to say to her, you can say to me." He tried to stay upright, but he was swaying.

"No, you never got married." Giry said, her patience running short.

"She's with MY child." He slurred, finally giving up and landing in the chair.

"Meg, explain." Giry hissed. She saw the panicked look in her daughter's eyes a moment before she spoke.

"He's drunk, Mom, he believes I'm Christine." She whispered.

"Tell me the truth." Giry snipped.

"Fine, one night he really did think I was Christine, and….well…." Meg trailed off, her eyes glazed over as she recalled the night. "Well, from that one time I got pregnant." She said sheepishly.

Giry raised an eyebrow. "So you let him defile you just like that? Meg, you were a virgin! You should've saved your self for when you got married!"

"Mom, I've agreed to marry Raoul…"

"Raoul, who are you marring?" Giry snapped, as she did, so did her patience for Raoul altogether.

"Christine Daae." He slurred.

"Meg, he doesn't even realize it's you! He doesn't love you!"

"But I love him!" Meg wailed.

"See, Christine didn't chose the fucking Phantom over me!" He snarled harshly.

Meg blanched. Raoul told everyone that the Phantom took Christine, not that she chose to be with him!

"Fine! Meg, if you love him so much, then stay, I'm gonna move and live somewhere else." Giry finally made the decision, she was going to Christine. She stomped up the stairs and started to pack all her belongings.

"Momma, I don't know what to do." Meg's voice came in the doorway. Giry spun around, seeing her daughter with tear-filled eyes.

"What don't you know what to do?"

"I don't want you to leave, but I can't just leave him like this! Not to mention that I am gonna give birth to his child…" She sobbed, but Madame Giry saw through it.

"Meg, you are not five. Stop the act." The tears dried instantly.

"Fine! Leave! You didn't want to help him anyway! I love him and there's nothing you can do about it." She hissed.

"I know you won't tell him now, cause if you do, he'll leave you, Meg when you come your senses, I'm going to be with Christine." Meg gasped.

"You know where she is?" Her eyes were wide.

Giry smiled. "Yes, but you can't tell him, he'll leave you to find her and kill her love, to be with her."

"Why didn't you tell me? I didn't love him when I started taking care of him!" Meg asked.

"Well that was before they started hounding me to come to them. Christine is also expecting child."

The look of conflict was truly in her eyes. She was torn between her "Love" and her Best Friend, who was more like a sister.

"Meg, come with me, leave him to his parents. I'll help you and Christine raise your children. They'll grow up as you two did." Giry begged. "There will be others, ones who will treat you well, you are young." Meg closed her eyes, deciding. After a minute she opened them slowly.

"I want to see Christine." She declared.

"Go pack and hurry, I'll go and get his parents here to take care of him, they've wanted him back for a while now."

**THE NEXT DAY**

Madame Giry and Meg sat silently in a carriage, heading to Erik's house.

"Mom, are you sure about this? I mean, he IS the phantom that killed in front of everybody." She asked, her eyes wide in fear.

"Meg, where's your courage, he was driven by jealousy, you have to remember that he wasn't raised like you, he was beaten for entertainment. Christine is the only thing that stopped his pain. And his name is Erik, not Phantom." Giry scolded softly as the carriage came to a stop.

Meg looked up. It was a mansion, not uncommon, but it was far from the town. It was black and haunting, warning others away. Meg gulped. She was about to meet the man that was a threat to everyone.

Two servants emerged from the shadows, taking the women's bags, and another smiled politely at them.

"Come this way, madameozels, I will lead you to Master and his Wife." He pun on his heels, and led them up the winding pathway to the main door. He opened the door with a bow, gesturing for the women to enter. Madame Giry and Meg stepped inside the lovely entryway. And there before them was Christine, with her back to them and neatly fixing a vase that stood in the center of the hallway. It was a vase of blood red roses with a black ribbon over the vase itself. There was the sound of a piano in the room to their right.

Christine turned around.
