Well, you probably guessed what I'm about to say.

With heavy hearts, I regret to inform that I have lost interest in writing and reading FanFiction, have lost faith in my own AU story, even to the point of being embarrassed of what I have wrote in the past, and with the overpowering upcoming Episode VII: The Force Awakens coming out in almost two weeks, have decided to discontinue my story with no promise of recalling the inspiration to continue.

I'm sorry for ending the story just like the show was gutted. FanFiction has done so much for me. I had, for a while, a deep interest in writing despite my low self-esteem. I hope to work for Lucasfilm some day, though with what exactly, I do not know. Story consultant, I hope, but maybe that will change as time goes by.

Either way, despite my talent in writing that I know I possess, I have found it more and more difficult to write chapters in a story that is getting less and less viewership and support as time goes on. I made a promise in the past to finish my story, but as time went on, my limitless imagination expanded this AU into a mess.

If someone wishes to take up the helm for this story, though I don't believe anyone would now, please contact me. IF you are interested and I accept you finishing the story, I'll like to proofread the chapters before publishing them.

Once again, I'm sorry for the dour disappointment at me "throwing out the towel", but I remember a time when I couldn't forgive Disney for cancelling The Clone Wars. Not only was it one of the stupidest decisions ever made but the cancellation drove into me like a twisted dagger. I still am a huge fan of The Clone Wars and always hope that it will eventually be finished the way it was meant to be finished, but hate and anger is not the way of a Jedi. I will love The Clone Wars and show my children the sensation I felt when watching that series, like the Original Trilogy has for a lot of older fans.

Hope and optimism for Star Wars will never die. This fanfic may never die with some of you, for all I know. And The Clone Wars series will never die and who knows if we fans will finally be rewarded for our patience and perseverance. We just need to show, even after seeing this exciting movie coming out in December, that we still care about The Clone Wars.

But even if that hope is never realized, that doesn't mean The Clone Wars finally got the last nail to the coffin. As the Jedi Code has taught, "There is no death, only the Force."
