Disclaimer: I do NOT own Naruto!

Sasuke and Sakura watched their new teammate try to set up a prank. Everyone had already left with their senseis. The newly dubbed Team 7 was all that was left. Sakura shook her head in disapproval. "Naruto, what are you doing?" Naruto gave the pinkette a foxy grin. "Trying to teach our new sensei a lesson. This should be a reason as to why you should never be late." Sasuke scolded.

"Loser."

"Bastard!"

"Bitch."

"Asshole!"

"Enough!" Sakura demanded. She had a migraine and their constant rivalry didn't make it any better. Sasuke smirked and watched as Naruto stuck out a tongue.

Creeeeeeeeeekkk! The door whined to life. The trio turned their heads and watched as the eraser came down onto the head of a silver haired man who wore a mask that covered seventy five percent of his face. Upon meeting eyes with him, Naruto's own blue orbs bugged out. "Kakashi, what are you doing here?!" The cyclops eye smiled. "I'm your new sensei, Naruto." Naruto pointed her fingers at the man. "Why do you have to be my new sensei?!" Kakashi gave a fake pout and said in a mock-hurt tone, "Why wouldn't I be? I did train under your father." Sasuke and Sakura's eyes widened significantly at that.

"Meet me on the roof in ten minutes." Kakashi ordered. They all groaned.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura made it to the roof in a matter of seconds. They saw Kakashi and sat down on the benches. Kakashi spoke up, "As a team, getting to know your teammates are important. So, we will do basic introduction. I'll go first. My name is Kakashi Hatake. My hobbies are none of your business, my likes, I like a lot of things, and my dislikes, all of you. I have no discernable ambition." Everyone sweat dropped.

'He only told is his name." Kakashi pointed at Sasuke. "Emo, you're next." Sasuke's right eye twitched at the offensive nickname. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. My hobbies are training with my brother and father, I like tomatoes and," his face immediately turned a bright shade of crimson, "Naruto." If Naruto was drinking anything, she would have spit it back out. "I dislike fan girls and my ambition is to train and take over the Leaf Village's Police Force after my father retires."

Kakashi pointed to Sakura. "Okay Pinky, you're next."

"My name is Sakura Haruno. My hobbies are training with Ino and my Dad. I like clothes. I dislike annoying people, like Kiba Inuzuka, and my ambition is to become the best Medical Ninja in the village." Kakashi smiled at her. 'Maybe this isn't such a bad group after all.'

He finally pointed at Naruto. "Looks like it's you're turn."

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze and my hobbies include training with my Mom and Dad. I like Ramen and my best friend Hinata Hyƻga. I dislike people who act like they're better than everyone, and vegetables. My ambition is to take over as Hokage for my father after he's gone."

'Looks like I have a very promising team.' He thought, clearly amused at their answers. "Alright, I want you guys to meet up at training ground seven for one final test. It would be wise if you came on an empty stomach. So why don't you go and enjoy your lunch break? I will see you all first thing in the morning at eight o'clock." In a puff of smoke, he was gone, leaving behind three very confused Genin.

To say she was bored was under statement. Kushina felt lonely without her child at home. 'I hope Naruto is alright... Who knows what could happen with Kakashi being her new instructor.' The dull sound of a door opening alerted Kushina to the presence of someone. She smiled brightly and gave her daughter a giant bear hug. "Oh I missed having you around! How was your day?! Did Kakashi put his hands on you? If he did, I will kill him!" Naruto was beginning to find it difficult to breath. She alerted her mother, and Kushina let go. "Mom, I'm fine."

"Are you hungry? I could make you something for lunch, if you want." Naruto nodded. "Can we have miso soup? I really want some." Kushina nodded. "Sure, but after you eat, I want you to take some to your father. Okay?" Naruto gave her a toothy grin. "Sure, Mom!"

A loud knocking sound alerted Minato that he had a visitor. He finished signing an important document and put down his pen. "Come on in." He was greeted by his daughter holding a bowl with a lid. "Hey, Dad. Mom wanted me to bring you lunch." Minato raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

"Miso Soup."

"My favorite!"

Naruto laughed at him and handed the bowl over to him. "Isn't anything that Mom makes your favorite?" Minato glanced at Naruto as if to say, "What's your point?" Naruto gave a disapproving shake of the head. "Dad, you truly are hopeless."

Morning came rather abruptly. Naruto woke up at five o'clock to get a kick start to her morning routine. She brushed her teeth, got dressed in her Ninja attire, and did some training. It was six thirty by the time she was done. Deciding to heed Kakashi's warning, she decided on an early morning stroll through the Leaf Village. It was quite peaceful. Not many people were willing to be up this early. It was perfect. She took a detour through the book store and decided to buy a book on traditional flower arrangements.

The book had a beautiful design. She took her fingertips and gently brushed them over the cover. The shop owner came up to her and gave her a very warm smile. "Naruto, we have the book you requested. It was a bit of a hassle, but we found it. Do you want it?" Naruto nodded. The shopkeeper handed her the book and as she was about to pay for both of them, he stopped her.

"Take them! They're on the house for my best customer."

"Are you sure?

"Yes, consider it my graduation gift. You earned them!" Naruto's face lit up in happiness. "Thank you!" She took the books and hugged the older man. She ran out the store with her new items. The man was suddenly surrounded in a puff of smoke, and out came a rather tall figure. He had spiky, white hair that ran down his back. The man smiled for his God daughter. She had surely grown up.

Naruto sealed her belongings into a scroll and put it in her pouch. She looked up at the sky and say that the sun was in the seven thirty position. She walked to the training grounds. She saw Sasuke had already been there. He acknowledged her. "How long have you been here?"

"About ten minutes." Naruto sat down next to the raven and took out the scroll that held her books. She marked on the paper and one of the objects popped out. Sasuke smirked. "Didn't think you were the type to read." Naruto scowled.

"I didn't think you were the type to like me, but I guess we both thought wrong." Sasuke's face flushed. "Loser." He blushed.

"Bastard." Sasuke 'hn'ed in response. Sakura appeared a few seconds later with stars in her eyes. "I can't believe that we're finally Ninja!"

"Well, we aren't until we pass Kakashi's test. But I think we can." Naruto explained. Sakura simply ignored her. Naruto turned to Sasuke and saw that his face was still a little flushed. Naruto spoke up, which broke the awkward silence. "The test is probably to show off what we learned in the Academy. If we work together, the test will be easier." Sasuke and Sakura pondered what the other girl had said. "But who would be our leader for the team?" Naruto's glimmered at that. "Who do you think it should be?" Sakura pointed at her. "You. You have great leadership qualities. I think you would be a great leader."

"Okay then."

Sorry for not being able to update for two days. I have bad insomnia that has bee going on for two months now, (hence me writing and posting late at night -.-) that won't go away and it's been affecting my health. I can't guarantee me updating at decent times. I would never wish insomnia on anyone, not even my enemies. If you took a look at my picture and looked at my eyes, you would see how bad it truly is.

As always, read, review, favorite, and or follow.
