Thank you so much for all the follows and favorites! I'm sorry that I couldn't update sooner, I'm a slow writer. Hope you'd like this chapter. I'm going to speed things up in the next one though since the events in this one is rather slow!
Please Enjoy!
"These are the necessary forms you must fill out and send to Hogwarts to apply." England said as he set a cup of tea in front of Prussia. "I'm fairly sure you'd pass, but I want to make sure you have the necessary knowledge to be the History teacher." He continued as he sat down on a chair on the opposite side of Prussia facing him. "I'd like to teach you some things before you go to Hogwarts for application. However, before we go into that do you have any questions?"
"Danke," Prussia first said as he accepted his tea. "Ja I do. I'll have to stay for an entire year right?"
"Yes you would. It is a boarding school." England answered as he sipped on his tea. "Scheiße. I'll probably won't be able to play any computer games now won't I?" Prussia muttered. "Well that's okay! I'll find something to entertain my self Kesesese! Alright my second question. How would I report to you? Wizards still use all that owl thingy for send mail right? If you don't want any leaks I think that'll be a problem."
"I have a plan for that," England said as he stood up. He went to his desk and started searching his drawer. "There it is!" he said as he pulled out 2 pieces of parchment. Prussia raised his brows in question. "This is one of my successful creations," England said merrily. "When one person writes on this piece of parchment, it automatically appears on the other. Messages on both sides disappear in about a minute. You can use any pen to write on it." Prussia nodded in understanding.
England grimaced as he said gingerly "I know I'm being insistent about this whole secrecy thing, but I would prefer if you wouldn't tell anyone about you teaching at Hogwarts. I'd like to keep the amount of information leaked as little as possible."
"Sure, but I'm telling France and Spain when this is all over." Prussia said as he smirked. "Well then I'm sure you made up a good cover story I'm gonna tell west? Or can I just tell him the truth because he could be such a pain in the ass when he's worried." Prussia winced as he said the last part, reminiscing the last time he came home completely drunk worrying his brother. He ended up getting a 3 hour lecture about how drinking excess amount would be bad for the body. "You can tell Germany," England growled, "But I'd prefer if you wouldn't tell―"
"Fat chance," Prussia said as he laughed. He took another sip of his tea. There is no way I'm not gonna tell this to anyone. Well after this is all over but still. He smirked. England saw him smirking and had a sinking feeling in his gut, worrying his not-so-far future of constant teasing about this entire ordeal. Well what's done is done. England thought as he opened his mouth to speak. "I would like to check how many spells you still remember since I do believe you haven't done any magic for a long time now." Prussia nodded as he said, "Ja, I haven't done any magic in about a century or so. But since I'm awesome, I'll probably back in top notch in no time!"
"I hope so," England said as he stood up. "Follow me. We'll do the magic training down stairs. Then we'll check your knowledge on magical history."
For the next few hours, England taught some spells Prussia had forgotten over the years. I sure have gotten rusty. Prussia thought as he performed spell after spell. But I prefer a good sword in my hands anyways. I hated performing those healing spells as 'Maria'*. "Are you all right? You were spacing out towards the end. Should we take a break?" England as worried a little since Prussia had been silent for about 30 minutes, which doesn't happen very often. "Hmmm? Ah nein, it's nothing I was just….. thinking about the past." Prussia said sheepishly. "…. As your time as 'Maria'?" England said tauntingly as he knew how much calling him that ticks him. As predicted, Prussia cheeks a little pink as he glared at England, "I thought you wanted me to help you?" he said as he pointed the wand he was holding towards England. "I won't if you continue calling me that." England laughed a little shrugged and said, "Well it's not that bad. You make a great healer anyways. I think the name is quite fitting."
"Shut up, or I'm going home." Prussia grumbled as he stretched his arms. "I was only joking." England laughed softly. "Let's go upstairs and have some tea. I could make something if you're hungry-"
"No! There's no need for that! The awesome me is not hungry at all!" Prussia exclaimed interrupting England midsentence. England frowned and said, "But it's almost dinner time, and we've been doing magic for a few hours almost nonstop. I'm certainly hungry."
"Why don't we go outside and eat then?" Prussia said frantically. There is no way I'm going to eat his cooking again. He thought. The last time that happened every one became convinced that I was dead!
"Are you implying that you can't eat my cooking?" England snapped, glaring at Prussia dangerously. "Nein! Nein! I just thought it'll be too much trouble since we're both very tired right?" Prussia said, quickly thinking of other excuses to use so that he could avoid England's cooking. Thankfully those excuses weren't needed when England replied, "Well, I guess so. There's a good pub around the corner. They serve good food as well. Will that do?"
"That sounds like a great idea!" Prussia exclaimed, "Let's go there then kesesesese," I'm saved, he thought. Never, again he shivered.
"I think you're ready now," England said. It had been 3 days since Prussia arrived, and with England drilling Prussia he had been able to be back in top notch. "Lastly let's check if you could still apparate between countries. We need to give your brother an explanation any ways, let's see if you could go back home." Prussia shrugged and raised his wand. He was gone with a loud crack. When Prussia felt himself arriving somewhere, he heard a loud crash to his left and quickly whipped his head to see where the sound came from. "Bru- Bruder?" a man asked, at first he seemed surprised of Prussia's sudden appearance, but quickly shifted to anger as he shouted, "Prussia! Where the hell did you come from and where were you these past few days! You surprised me, I dropped the cake I was making and are you even listening to me!?"
Oh so that's what the loud crash was. Prussia thought as he leaned onto the kitchen table. Ahh I don't like this at all. I prefer a good car or horse for transportation. Prussia thought. "Bruder are you ok? You seem a little pale," Germany said worryingly. Right when Prussia was about to respond, the doorbell rang. "Wait here, I'll go get the door." Germany said as he quickly put the apron he was wearing onto a nearby table. Prussia went to the sink to get himself a large glass of water. He started draining the cup while he heard some talking. When completely the cup was completely drained, he set the cup on the kitchen counter. "Your control was terrible by the sound of it, but I guess its fine. I don't think there would be instances where you'd have to apparate over borders anyways." England said as he came into the kitchen. "So are you both going to explain what's going on?" Germany said as he crossed his arms. Prussia smirked and replied, "Well it's a long story, we should probably move to somewhere else then the kitchen."
Germany knew the look Prussia had, and he knew it wasn't good. He sighed as he said, "Go to the living room with England. I'll bring some coffee."
"Kesesesese, sure thing little bro!" Prussia said as he dragged England to the living room. Germany sighed again, getting three mugs as he heard the two bickering over to the living room. This is going to be a long day.
Germany's prediction proved to be true, as the story Prussia gave him was too unrealistic to comprehend. "Let me get this straight." Germany started. "You're going to go to a Wizarding school."
"Yep," Prussia replied, "You're going to teach History there,"
"Yep,"
"You're going to Hogwarts to keep an eye on a child called Harry Potter."
"Yep,"
"You're going to be gone for an entire year,"
"Yep,"
Germany took a deep breath and mumbled, "And magic is real."
"Yep," Prussia said, as he smirked. Germany was putting his head inside his hands as he mumbled things about how this can't be actually happening. "The chap's taking the news quite well isn't he?" England said dryly. "You can't really blame him. America would probably have a similar response." Prussia said as he stood up and strode over to Germany. "It's alright. You don't have to do anything! You just have to lie to your boss that I'm being a good boy at home." Prussia sneered. "It's not that hard,"
"That isn't the point!" Germany exclaimed, "Besides won't you be in danger? This Harry Potter is a target isn't he?"
"You don't believe your big brother could kick the bad guy's butt?" Prussia pouted, "You have no faith for your brother."
"Nein! I believe you are strong enough however…." Germany coughed once and looked down in contemplation. Come on West, Prussia thought. "Fine," Germany sighed out after a while. "You can go, but I want to hear from you at least once a week. Do you understand?" Germany said as he slightly glared at Prussia. "Kesesesese, awesome!" Prussia laughed out. "Thank you Germany," England said. "He probably wouldn't have stopped even if I said no anyways," Germany snorted. "I want him safe though. I don't want a repeat of that again."
"Nobody does," England replied quietly. "Oh yeah! England, I can take gilbird with me right?" Prussia exclaimed oblivious to the conversation the two just had. "Hmmm? Oh yes he should be fine." England replied. England stood up, and took his wand out. "You know what to do to apply right? I want to know how things go so write to me when you get any kind of reply from Hogwarts. If you fail for application, there are some other ways to sneak you in. Anyhow, good luck!" England exclaimed, waving his wand at the end of his sentence disappearing with a loud crack.
"Bruder can you do that too?" Germany asked, "Ja, but I'm not gonna be your transporter for world meetings," Prussia replied.
"Scheiße."
*The maria thing came from when Prussia was the teutonic knights. It's original name in English name would be Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem. I thought it would be interesting if Prussia was teased by the other nations during this time since he technically had a girl name.
I'll try to post the next one by next Sunday! Reviews are most welcome.
