"Hey! Are you alright?" Prussia woke up to someone shaking him. He slapped the hand in front of him and growled out, "Weg von mir. (Get off me)" He shook his head trying to get the memories that haunted him a while before, and looked around his surroundings. He was still in the same compartment as before, but the train was moving. He saw Lupin giving him a worried look. He looked to the right to see Harry sitting on his seat with Hermione and Ron looking worriedly at him. "Are you ok?" Ron asked* Harry. "Yeah,"* he answered while he also asked, "What happened? Where's that – that thing? Who screamed?*" "No one scre-,"* Ron started to say, but Prussia interrupted him asking, "Lupin what the hell was that?" Lupin ignored the question and started to break an enormous slab of chocolate giving one of the two biggest pieces to Prussia and Harry. "Eat it. It'll help," Lupin said.

Prussia eyed it warily, but decided to take a bite. He felt a little better when he felt warm flow in his veins. He then took a deep breath and sighed deeply resting his back on the wall behind him. When Lupin had given chocolate to all of the people in the compartment, Prussia asked again. "What were they?" Lupin raised a brow as if to ask if he didn't know. "A Dementor. One of the Dementors from Azkaban."* He said as he stood up. "Eat, it'll help. I need to talk to the driver excuse me," he said as he left the compartment.

With the revelation, Prussia cursed himself for his own stupidity. I should have known. I shouldn't have showed any weakness to the people here. He saw Harry and the rest not eating their chocolate yet, so he said, "Eat it. Like he said it'll make you feel better." And took a big bite in demonstration. The trio eyed their chocolate and wearily took a bite. All three of them had surprised expressions on their faces and a little color returned their pale faces. Prussia chuckled then shoved the rest of the piece into his mouth.

"Professor Beilschmidt, do you know what that was?" Harry asked while nibbling his chocolate. Prussia nodded and answered, "I didn't recognize till the professor told me," Which was quite embarrassing, he continued in his head. "But that was a Dementor. They are the guards of the Azkaban. I'm sure you know where that is. Basically, Dementors suck good memories out of a person and just leave the bad. Your worst memories come back to you lividly." Prussia sighed again, "I think you get the gist now."

"It was horrible." Ron said, "I felt as if I'll never be cheerful again."* Harry looked down at his chocolate, and seemed troubled. Prussia looked blindly at the three eating their chocolate. Verdammt it's not even the first day yet and I'm already in trouble. England's probably gonna get pissed when he hears about this. Dementors in a school? What the hell is the headmaster even thinking? They should get rid of those things not keep them. He sighed for what seemed the hundredth time in 5 minutes. I need to remember to stay away from those things. I can easily lose my sanity around them.

Lupin came back, and said "We'll arrive at Hogwarts in tem minutes.* Are you alright Harry and Professor…?" Prussia raised a brow and realized he still hasn't finished introductions. "Gilbert Beilschmidt, new history teacher" he said as he offered his hand. "Remus Lupin, the new Defense against the Dark arts professor." Lupin answered as he took Prussia's hand and shook it. "I'm fine, now thank you." Prussia said with a small smile. Lupin answered that with a smile of his own and turned to Harry. "Harry all you alright?" "Fine." He muttered.*

There was little conversation for the rest of the trip. Finally, the train stopped at Hogsmeade station and everyone bustled to get out. It was freezing outside, and Prussia shivered in his robe. "You're taking the stagecoaches right?" Lupin asked Prussia. "Hmm? Oh yeah." He answered. "Then follow me." Lupin said as he started to walk briskly.

He and Lupin walked to a muddy track, where a hundred stagecoaches waited them. They were pulled by skeleton horses and for a second he stopped wide eyed, but then realized that they were only Thestrals. I need to get used to these things and quickly too. He cursed internally. I can't slip up. Prussia and Lupin climbed into one of them and shut the door and the stagecoach started to trudge forward. "You can see them?" Lupin asked out of the blue. "Huh?" "I just wondered if you could see them." Lupin asked softly as he pointed in the direction of the Thestrals. "Ja," Prussia answered seeing no point in hiding the fact that he could see them. But he looked away to indicate he had no intention to talk about it. Death? Ha, I've seen more than you'll ever know. He thought as he looked out of the tiny window next to him. There was no conversation until they arrived at the doors of Hogwarts.

Once they got off, Lupin and Prussia went into the Entrance hall. Prussia was surprised at how big it was, and looked at his surroundings. It's quite nice. He thought grudgingly and imagined how smug England would act if he actually told him that and tossed the idea out of his mind.

The two Professors went into the Great Hall with the crowd of students also headed that way. Students were taking their seats on the tables of their respected houses, while the first years were lining up the front. Prussia allowed a small smile to slip as he looked at the children.

Prussia quite liked children. They were honest, and they were fun to hang around with. When he was still a nation, sometimes he would sneak away from his work and go play with children outside. He still does it time to time. They made him forget all the things he didn't like about being a nation, and gave him a purpose to fight.

He was quickly slapped back to reality when he heard the headmaster calling out to him. "Professor Beilschmidt, are you here with us?" Dumbledore said as his lips curved up into a smile. "A-ah yeah just admiring the room and stuff." Prussia stammered a little embarrassed. "I have heard you have gone ill on the train. Are you alright?" The headmaster continued. "Ja, I'm fine. I was just….. surprised that's all." Prussia said with a small smile. "Well, tell any of us if you anything. But for now please take a seat."

Prussia nodded as he sat down on one of the seats. He marveled at how well he could see all the students from up at the High table. He felt nostalgic as he remembered how he was forced to stand next to his king when he was younger. He didn't like it then, he didn't like to stand still. It was against his nature. But now that he had grown up, he felt mature enough to stand sit still without fidgeting. Gott, I must be getting old. He thought giving himself a dry smile.

The first thing that surprised him was the sorting. And boy was it long. He may have gotten patient than before, but that doesn't change the fact that he was hungry. He was fascinated with how each student was sorted to each house, but it grew dull as it went on.

When the last student was finally sorted into her house, he let out a soft sight. He saw Hermione and Harry entering the hall from the corner of his eye. He glanced over to Dumbledore when he stood up. He started giving a speech, which sounded customary. Welcoming students back, and warning students of the Dementors. He then introduced Lupin, then Prussia who gave a little wave after his brief introduction. Then came Ruberus Hagrid's appointment as a professor of Care of Magical Creatures.

Then began the feast. Before he knew it, he had finished dessert and had a full tummy. That was actually good. He thought as he washed the food down with some water. Maybe it's just England with the bad food then. Wonder what he'd say to that though. He snickered at his own thoughts. Then he remembered the Dementors. Gotta tell him about the shit.

The feast ended, and Prussia was ready for a good night sleep considering he was utterly exhausted. He was led by a house elf to his classroom and chambers. He flopped face down on the bed with all the exhaustion lulling him to sleep. He didn't mind just sleeping there, but he needed to get a few things down.

Getting the enchanted parchment England gave him, he got a pen and wrote down;

Got to Hogwarts.

Dementors are being used as guards against Sirius Black.

There's a new professor called R.J Lupin. Defense against the dark arts.

I'll write again if something happens.

Gilbert

Satisfied that he had written everything that he needed to tell him, he quickly changed into more his pajamas. He climbed into his bed. Sleep claimed him in seconds.

England was crying. He couldn't help it. He couldn't help but be afraid of what was about to come. The message from Prussia didn't help him in the slightest.

Wizards knows who I am. Dementors in the school grounds. This can't be a coincidence. Voldemort knows, Voldemort will know. No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!

Crash!

He heard a loud crash and he relalized he broke a tea pot. It was one of his favorite ones. He felt more tears on his cheeks. He crouched down to pick the broken china, but quickly retracted his hand when he felt sharp pain. He looked at his hand and saw blood flowing.

So it all comes down to this. He thought as he picked got up to bring a broom to actually clean the mess he made.
