A/N: This is where the Zonecops come in. If you've read my other story that I'm currently writing (Angel With A Shotgun) don't get confused cos that story has no connection with this story. I'll change things slightly in No Zone; it's gonna have a futuristic touch because that's how I imagine No Zone and the Zonecops will be three years older.
Here's a quick summary of what No Zone is: The No Zone is a zone that is literally 90 degrees from everywhere. The nature of its inhabitants is largely unknown, but it apparently serves as the home world of a trans-dimensional police force, of which Zonic is a part. Due to the zone's unusual juxtaposition, individuals from the No Zone tend to appear sideways in other zones, and visitors to the zone tend to appear sideways in the zone (whereas they would have been upright in their own). This can be prevented, however, through the use of advanced technology created by the Zone Cops. Because of this strange property, the No Zone is sometimes referred to as the Perpendicular Zone.
Since I'm teaching myself some Japanese, I've learn't quite a lot of insults x'D They're the best things to learn and there will be a lot in this chapter. They're a mix of Kanji and Romanji just to let ya know. Here's the meanings in advance just in case:
Itazura - mischievous

Nicky jumped up in the air and curled up into a ball before spin dashing against the first row of the EM droids. He managed to successfully dent them but it wasn't enough.
"These are tough cookies," Nicky uncurled and dodged an oncoming laser ball by one of the droids he dented. In a second, the dented droids began to shoot at Nicky continuously with the laser orbs as he used his fast reflexes to dodge them. ""Er...Silver? Help por favor?" Silver lifted his arms and a teal light emerged from his figure.
The albino hedgehog managed to lift up two of the heavy dented droids ceasing their shooting. Unfortunately, the row behind the dented EM droids marched forward and joined the shootout with the others making Nicky slightly sweat in anxiety.
"Silver! I need light!" Nicky ran to a random direction across the room praying mentally not to crash into something while avoiding the laser orbs. Silver grunted and put his hands together which not only resulted with the two EM droids above being smashed together into scrap, but has also created a shield of light around him. This gave Nicky some quality vision and managed to avoid the device that the EM robots were made in just in time.
"Phew," Nicky huffed but his break lasted for only a second because the EM robots were still shooting at him.
"Nicky! You distract these robots while I smash them together!" Silver yelled and the blue hedgehog gave a nod. Nicky ran around the laboratory dodging the bullets and delivering a couple of punches and kick towards the robots. Silver gathered around three to four EM robots with his power and made them smash into each other with all his might. Despite that, the more he kept on doing this, the more exhausted he was feeling. "Nicky! How many are there left?"
Nicky peered at the fatigued hedgehog after delivering a blow to one of the EM robots with his fists and frowned.
"Nothing I can't handle. Silver, you try and destroy that weird machine that's been creating these scrap metal..." he avoided a laser ball and then kicked the head off of the EM robot that was responsible for the shot "I'll deal with these nuts and bolts." he smirked cockily and carried on his half dodging half fighting fest.
Silver thanked Nicky mentally and flew towards the machine carefully without getting hit by an orb or get attacked by another EM droid. He scanned the machine with his eyes and then swiftly went behind it. Silver gave one punch and the panel plate was open. It revealed hundreds of wires and multicolored LED lights. 'I may be naive but I'm not stupid,' Silver thought to himself and began to fiddle with the wires. Unlike Nicky, Silver was attentive to Tails' speech and babbling about machines and other bits of technology. Silver fiddled with the wires once more before coming with a dilemma.
The red wire and the blue wire...which one should he cut?
Silver cursed silently and groaned. Nicky's ears picked up Silver's distress.
"Silv, you 'Kay?" Nicky spin dashed through the EM robot.
"Nicky, it's these stupid wires! Which one should I cut? The blue one or the red one?" Nicky froze for a second before giving Silver a nervous grin and a sweat drop was just on the side of his head.
"Er...I don't think I should answer that one..." an EM bot managed to shove the teen to one side and Nicky let out a 'Ooof!' "I'm a bit busy here..."
Silver banged his head against the machine only to hear a...
BANG!
"Silver? How hard did ya hit your head?" Nicky's eyes widened but Silver looked at him with a joyous expression. He pointed behind the blue hedgehog.
"Not me, it was them!" Silver had sparkles dancing in his golden eyes. Nicky turned around only to give a cocky smirk.
"Did you boyz miss us?" Emi twirled her hammer with one hand and smacked it against an EM droid. Nicky chuckled and stared at Emi in a dazed expression. An EM droid was about to shove Nicky but he automatically punched it in the head without breaking eye contact with Emi.
"Emi, Emi, Emi, you sure are late," Nicky teased as giggled. He peered at her other hand to see that there was a chaos emerald in her possession. 'Awesome! Now we have three chaos emeralds with us!' Nicky thought to himself excitedly.
"Sorry to interrupt but I really need help with this." Silver groaned and knocked on the machine. Amy, who was by Emi the whole time and wasn't noticed by Nicky stomped towards the machine.
"Silver, forget the wires," she took out her piko piko hammer "Let's just smash it!" Silver tried to protest but the pink hedgehog payed no heed towards him and smashed the machine to her heart's content. "See, that's the way we do it." Silver let out a small 'oh' and chuckled to himself.
"Now we have three chaos emeralds! All we need to do is find Sonic and Shadow." Amy piped up. She ran out of the room dragging Silver with her ignoring his cries. Emi was about to follow suit but her arm was grabbed by Nicky.
"Wait a sec. You think I'm gonna let you go on your own with that chaos emerald?" Nicky's eyes were lowered and gestured for Emi to give him the emerald.
"That's not fair. You've got one already! Plus, I think I've earned it for smashing that weird ugly robot that we had to fight earlier with my hammer." Emi turned her back on Nicky making him realise he's somehow let go of her arm.
He ran in front of her and shook his head.
"No no no. I don't want you to be a target again." Nicky stifled a laugh at Emi's pout. 'She looks so darn cute,' he mused to himself. Suddenly, Emi flashed a smirk making Nicky step back and realise how dangerous the situation is now.
Oh great, she's going to ask that question again.
As usual. No he was not going to give in! Sonic The Hedgehog never gives up without a fight or a chaos emerald in this situation.
"Emi..." Nicky warned but she didn't listen and took a big step forward. "Oh man,"
"If I give you this emerald, will you marry me?" Emi grinned mischievously.
"Here we go again." Sonic rolled his eyes "We don't have time for this Emi! Ii kagen ni shiro!" he tried to snatch the emerald off of Emi however she had her guard up and put her arm up in the air when Nicky had his hand below it.
"Emi!" Nicky reached for the emerald in her hand again but Emi swiftly put her arm down and sticking out on the side. She blew a raspberry at the annoyed teen. Nicky wiped the spit on his face and reached for the emerald again. "Getting fast now are we?" he teased but Emi put her arm back up. Nicky's ears stuck up in frustration and tried to snatch the emerald off of her but the cycle continued.
His arm went up, her's to the side. His hand went to the side and hers up again. The cycle continued for a few more seconds before Nicky tugged on his quills in annoyance.
"Just gimme the emerald!" Emi shook her head and tucked the emerald in her short quills. "Oh come on! That's it! I don't care now. I'm taking the emerald." Nicky grabbed her waist with one hand and attempted to reach for the back of her quills to claim his prize however the cunning pink preteen caught his wrist.
She slipped her fingers with his and had them intertwined. She put her other hand on his shoulder. Nicky's muzzle turned to a cherry colour as all the blood rushed through his cheeks.
"It looks like we're dancing now teehee~" Emi replied in a singsong voice. She dipped herself down but Sonic wore an evil smirk and let go of her waist and hand making her fall. "Whoa!" she landed on her bottom first and then her back on head. The chaos emerald she tucked in her quills popped out and dropped on the floor along with her.
Nicky grabbed the emerald and then pulled a face and tongue at Emi. She had a bewildered expression plastered on her face which was instantly replaced with fury.
"Ooh! How dare you drop a girl like that NICKY!" she clicked her fingers and a piko piko hammer that was twice her size appeared. Nicky gulped and dashed out of the laboratory with Emi hot on his tail. "Get back here young man! I'm not done with you!" Emi knew he was teasing her because he was keeping a meter distance between them both.
"I'm not sorry!" Nicky yelled back and gave a cocky laugh. At least he was able to go look for the others instead of being stuck back there. He looked back at Emi and said: "Itazura shojo." He accelerated slightly at the sight at Emi's fiery aura. 'Oops, went too far...' he panicked slightly.
"Shojo!? I am twelve nearly thirteen! Kisama!" Emi roared and her cheeks were flushed in anger. They were nearly to the exit. 'Perhaps Sonic and the others are already out.' Nicky thought. He looked back at Emi and his eyes widened. She was catching up.
"I have one more thing to say," Nicky smirked as he increased his speed just a tad bit to distance himself more from Emi.
"Yakamashii!" Emi's jade eyes were tinted in a slight red colour and her aura was stronger.
"Fuzakeru na!" Now Nicky was gonna get it. Emi shrieked with fury. Nicky purposely slowed down when he realised Emi has sped up wildly. When Emi jumped up to whack him with her hammer, Nicky ducked and opened the door. Emi gasped and before she could blink, she landed out of the doorway and onto the floor of the outside world. Lucky for her, the ground was full of grass and softened soil otherwise she could've grazed her face. She looked around and squinted her eyes to see they were all in a dome made of glass and the grass must've been planted on the floor or something. They were underwater.
Her hammer disappeared as she sat up to rub her face. It hurt a lot and it was humiliating. Not to mention the fact that Nicky was barking in laughter at her clumsiness and fall as well as the fact the other hedgehogs that got out of the base earlier were keeping in their chortles.
"Hahah!" Nicky had tears pricking out his eyes from laughing to hard. "Noroma! Ahaha!" he was clutching his ribs now. Suddenly, a sharp blow was delivered on the top of his head making him fall on his butt. He rubbed his sore bump on the head and glowered at the cause. Shadow was standing in front of him with one of his fists clenched. He bopped Nicky?
How dare he...
Nicky was about to pounce on him but Shadow interrupted him.
"Aho! We haven't got any time to muck about yet you still try and make Emi cry?" Nicky turned from Shadow to see Emi sitting on the floor trying to wipe her tears away. She was avoiding eye contact with him. Immediately, guilt weighed down his heart.
"Chikushō, Emi..." he was stood up and took a step forward but was stopped. It wasn't Shadow who stopped him though. "Amy?" Amy glared at him.
"Don't go anywhere near her you jerk! I thought you were a sweet guy and maybe sweeter than my Sonic but looks like I was wrong. I'll be with Emi. You stay away away from her and think about what you've done! Hmmph!" Amy threatened and went towards Emi to console her leaving a gobsmacked Nicky and a frowning Sonic by Silver. "Emi, don't worry-" she was cut off by her counterpart.
"Amy," she wiped off the last tear and gave a smile "Don't worry. I'm fine! Big girls don't cry; they can look after themselves." she sniffed. "I'm used to it and Nicky didn't mean any harm to start with. I didn't give him the chaos emerald when he told me to so it's kinda my fault..." Amy put a hand on Emi's shoulder.
"Look how sincere she is Nicky! Even after what you've done, she blames herself." Amy hugged Emi. Silver glared at Nicky and glanced at the base.
"Not that I'm moaning or anything but I was sort of expecting Eggman to come out and gloat while we were fighting those Emerald powered droids." Silver stated. Nicky blinked and Sonic piped up:
"Yeah, it's not like him to not come out a gloat about his so 'great' inventions." Sonic looked around and then realised something. "While we were fighting those robots and when the security alarm went off, he didn't come at all!"
Amy gasped and smacked her forehead.
"He's either escaped or he's already wreaking havoc on land." Amy turned to Shadow "We need to chaos control right away!" Shadow nodded. Before he got his emerald out, he gave a stern look to Nicky.
"You have two emeralds on you right? Give one to Silver so you don't end up being chaos controlled somewhere else." Nicky's mouth shaped into an 'o' and didn't hesitate to give the emerald to Silver. His emerald eyes took a sneak glance at Emi only for her to blank him and stare anywhere else but him.
'I've to make it up to her,' Nicky had his head down solemnly. He loved to tease Emi but he hated to make her cry. Maybe his insults went a little too far this time? After all, Emi is a big girl now and wouldn't cry about everything- right?
"Hold onto everyone." Shadow spoke. Nicky took this chance to put wrap his fingers around Emi's arm. He saw her eyes move up to see him and then back down again. "Chaos Control!" Shadow yelled and they were all engulfed in the chaos light.
(Knothole)
A bright light appeared in the center of the village of Knothole by the destroyed Freedom Fighter's HQ. From the light, out came the six hedgehogs that's just came from Eggman's base. Silver looked around to see that there was hardly anyone around.
"I thought Eggman would be wreaking stuff here right now." Sonic shook his head at Silver.
"Eggman doesn't know the location of Knothole. He's in the city, I can see his Egg-carrier from here." Sonic was right as Eggman's trademark Egg-Carrier was hovering above the city and some smoke was visible from below too.
"What are we waiting for? Lets go and kick some Eggbutt!" Nicky was about to run off but was held back by Emi. Was she still mad at him?
"You're not gonna recklessly run off Hedgehog!" yep, she was still mad at him. "We need to attack Eggman at another direction so he doesn't find any clues that Knothole's here." Nicky relaxed in her grip.
"Sorry," Nicky tried to make the apology have a double meaning but Emi just puffed out her cheek and got out her hammer ready for combat.
"Bakayarō..." Silver chuckled and ignored Nicky's death glares that was directed at him.
"But don't you guys need to go and receive the other emeralds from the other dimensions?" Sonic halted them. "Amy and I and the rest of the Freedom Fighters can handle Eggface while you guys look for the emeralds." Amy nodded in agreement.
"No way, I wanna fight Eggman too." Nicky whined.
"Urusai." Shadow hissed. "I want to get this emerald hunt over and done with. Who knows what Robotnik is doing back home."
"I suggest you got to Zonic's world first. That way you could also prepare for Scourge's world next. We could join you to that snot's world." Sonic added.
"One, how are we going to get to Zonic's world if we don't know what it looks like. Two, how are you going to join us if the chaos emeralds are with us?" Nicky had his hands on his hips. If a light bulb was able to come up when one had an idea, Amy would have a very bright one right now.
"There's a photograph of Zonic in our album Sonic! Maybe if Shadow concentrates really hard after looking at it, they'll be able to chaos control to No Zone!"
Sonic replied with a 'Oh yeah,' and ruffled Amy's bangs.
"Where would we be without ya Amy?" he smiled. Amy shrugged her shoulders and ran off to get the album from chaos knows where.
"Eeee! I can't wait to go to No-Zone! Apparently I shoot guns and do awesome things like that!" Emi squealed.
"Lemme guess, Amy told ya?" Sonic chuckled "Yep, you're a Zonecop there. A very good one too." However, Nicky had to blink twice to sink in what Sonic said.
'Nani? Emi...shooting guns?' Nicky tried to picture it in his head but failed badly. He just couldn't imagine sweet little Emi with a huge dangerous looking gun in her hands. It's simply just no way.
"And does Zonic like my counterpart there?" Emi asked slyly. Sonic scratched he back of his head while Nicky groaned. At least she wasn't mad anymore.
"Why are you asking me? How am I suppose to know?"
"Am I also a Zonecop?" Zilver asked. He was quite intrigued with all of this Zone talk.
"Yep and so is Shadow!" Sonic put a finger under the bridge of his nose. "But I don't think he's as badass as my counterpart though," Shadow merely scoffed at Sonic. He spotted Amy running back to them with an album in her hand.
"That was fast," Emi chirped as Amy panted slightly "I bet one day you'll catch up to your Sonic!" Amy giggled at this. She slipped a picture out of the album and handed to Shadow. He raised his brow at the sight of the picture but didn't let anyone else see it.
"Oi! Show me," Silver pried but Shadow just swatted his hand away. "Not cool..."
"Okay, you guys take care while we take on Eggman. Our Tails will try and contact you as soon as we're done fighting. Just try and not get into any trouble." Sonic winked.
"Funny coming from you," Nicky added. "We'll catch you guys later!"
"Dewa Mata!" Silver waved at Sonic and Amy who sweat dropped in response.
"Chaos Control!" Shadow yelled and him, Nicky, Emi and Silver were engulfed in a bright light on their way to No Zone. The only thing that was heard was the wind and distant explosions from the city.
"Come on Ames, lets go!" without giving her a chance to reply, Sonic scooped Amy up in his arms and darted off to the city. Amy's instincts was to wrap her arms around Sonic's neck (or where his neck should be considering no one has a neck here xD) and lean her head on his chest. No matter how many times he's done this, Amy will always love the adrenaline rush when ever she's going at this pace.
'I hope one day he'll take me on a run for fun. I'd like to experience the feeling when you break the sound barrier...' she sighed to herself mentally. Her eyes took a quick look at her hero and then was glazed with awe. He looked so...dreamy...
(No Zone world)
The sun was setting and the capital city in No Zone was still awake. No scratch that- it was coming to life. As the sky grew darker, the lights turned brighter and if you were to see the city from above or a far distance, you'd be awestruck by it's illumination and magnificence. In the middle of the city was the headquarters of the fearless trans-dimensional police force in No Zone as known as Zonecops. Zonecops are elite officers that have a range of duties from space patrol, undercover missions, assassins and crime fighters to therapists, nurses, scientists, inventors and even dimension traveling.
Outside, in the fields, where you could get a glimpse of the view of the whole city, there stood a sleek, blue hedgehog. He was wearing a red suit and gold plated arm pads and neck pads along with a gold belt which carried his signature gun. An ebony shotgun with a capital 'Z' engraved on each side in a neon blue colour. The hedgehog himself was wearing a green helmet with a glass mask that covered half of his face. You couldn't even see the hedgehog's face because the mask seemed opaque. There was a golden oval on each side of his face attached to the side of the mask with a red rod coming from it.
The hedgehog paced back and forth in his green boots and tugged on his gray gloves. He was a Zonecop and not just any kind. He was the leader of the cops and one of the best too due to his abnormal speed and abilities and his skills.
"Warden Zobotnik better be right..." he muttered to himself "...he said they were coming exactly 6pm..." he raised the cuff of his gloves to check the time on his watch. It wasn't any ordinary watch, it was touch screen and had many features such as the ability to show holograms, lasers and by a press of a button, it could call the owner's vehicle automatically and make the vehicle come to the owner's exact location. "It's 6.01pm..." he sighed. He was really impatient right now. His watch suddenly beeped and a hologram zipped out of the watch to right in front of him.
"Zonic, have the real prime hedgehogs arrived yet?" the hologram of Zobotnik fizzed slightly as it revealed zone jail administrator full length. Zonic resisted the urge to suck his teeth at Warden. Ever since Tails (Archie Tails to you and me) contacted Zonic yesterday and told both him and Warden about Nicky and his friend's appearance to their dimension and also revealed that they were the prime inhabitants; Zobotnik wouldn't let it slide off of Zonic and that charred the blue zonecop's ego slightly.
Never was he wrong about something as important as this and Zobotnik vowed that he'd prove Zonic wrong one day and man has he got his wish.
"No Warden, they're a few minutes behind schedule." Zonic simply stated. Zobotnik just nodded and grinned slightly. Zonic mentally groaned at the sight of the grin. He's going to say it, he's going to remind him that...
"I still can't believe you've got such a major fact wrong," the human sneered "I mean, Zonic...Zonic The Hedgehog? Wrong?"
Zonic had enough and was about to turn off the live hologram but Warden interrupted the now ticked off hedgehog.
"Now wait, don't be hasty. I've also called to inform you that a powerful energy has been picked up on Zails' radar he assumes that it might be the prime dimensioners' chaos emerald. He's uploaded the location of the jewel and sent it on your watch." Zonic nodded and check the message. The location was quite far and out of the city.
"Roger that," Zonic switched off the hologram and lowered the cuff of his gloves back down. Before he could blink-
BANG! SCWEEEEEEEEERWWWWWWW!
A light was portal opened above the Zonecop and out came Nicky, Shadow, Silver and Emi. They all landed on Zonic causing him to fall and cushion their fall- ish. He heard groans and a couple of mutters. After a few seconds, which felt like hours to Zonic, the hedgehogs regained their senses and quickly got off the poor cop. Zonic stood up and shook his head to snap out of the dizziness. If his mask was completely transparent, the hedgehogs would've seen the death glare he was giving to all four of them.
"Eep! Gomen-sai! I mean...er..." Emi stammered and lucky for her, Silver apologised in English for her.
"We're sorry for falling on you and I apologise on Emi's behalf for apologising in a language you probably don't know and-" Silver was cut off by Zonic.
"It's fine, no reason to apologise for." Zonic gave a very small smirk. A type of smirk you'd expect from Shadow.
"You must be Zonic right?" Nicky walked up to Zonic and put his hand out for Zonic to shake. Zonic accepted the gesture and shook Nicky's hand like a business man. "Nice to meet ya! I'm pretty sure Tails from Sonic's world told ya all about us, right?"
"Fortunately he did and we've already pin pointed the location to one of the two chaos emeralds here in No Zone." Zonic replied. Shadow walked past the others to the edge of the high fields to see the view. The sun has now set and the city was like a neon sign that would attract people like moths to light.
"It's already night? I could've sworn it as barely the afternoon in the other world." Shadow faced Zonic. Zonic zipped by Shadow and crossed his arms.
"We have a three hour difference in time from here to Sonic's world and your world due to the fact we're 90 degrees parallel to every dimension." Zonic answered.
"So right now it's like 3pm back in our world and Sonic's and here it's 6pm?" Emi asked and Zonic nodded in agreement. His emerald eyes scanned Emi from head to toe and he squinted closer at her. He pressed the one of the ovals on the side of his helmet which lifted the glass mask and his face was revealed.
He looked exactly like Nicky and Sonic but he had a more serious expression and his eyes didn't carry that signature cockiness that his counterparts possessed.
"I haven't met Zhadow, Zilver and Zamy's counterpart yet so it'll be quite interesting to get to know them," Emi's eyes gleamed and giggled. She skipped towards Zonic and asked eagerly:
"When do I get to see Zamy? I really want to see her and see what she's like!" Zonic blinked at her childish behavior.
'She's so forward and childish. She's nothing like Zamy. She looks pretty innocent too,' thoughts drove through Zonic's head. Emi gulped at Zonic's serious expression and gave a nervous laugh.
"Sorry, I was being too forward wasn't I?" she chuckled bashfully. Nicky was by her side in a moment and slowly dragged her away from the Zonecop. Emi snatched her arm off Nicky's grip and scoffed "I'm still mad at you! You haven't even apologised yet." Nicky sweat dropped and rolled his eyes.
"I'll make it up to you later, we gotta find the chaos emerald Emi. What if Eggman in our world is bothering Tails already?" Nicky tried to settle this calmly.
"Rose, we haven't got the time to meet our counterparts so we have no other choice." Shadow hissed. Emi's ears drooped in sadness.
"I see," she turned to face Zonic "Zonic! Sorry about that! Forget what I said!" she yelled to him. Zonic crossed his arms and shook his head.
"Emi, you're going to meet her anyway. I have to take you all to the HQ and get a ride to the location of the chaos emerald. Not only is this area foreign to you guys but it's also dangerous. The criminals here are nothing like Eggman you fight back home. They are more deadly and won't hesitate to kill plus the dark would give them an advantage to harm you guys when your guard is down." Zonic informed.
"Pfft, you're forgettin' something. We may be similar to Sonic and his friends but we have different lives and fought different battles. I had old Eggy unleash some dark Gaia thingymagig into me and split the world into pieces. Heck there's so many-" Nicky boasted but was cut off by Silver.
"I don't think he's finished," Silver had his eyes lowered in annoyance as well as Zonic. Sonic let out a small 'oops' and gestured for Zonic to carry on blanking out the annoyed faces of his comrades.
"I am aware of that Nicky but you're not aware of what your anti is capable of." Zonic finished.
"You mean Scourge? That hedgehog Sonic was on about?" Zonic nodded to Nicky. He looked over at the city and glance back at the hedgehogs.
"We need to go to the HQ right away of you want to get the emerald quickly and maybe find the second one too."
"Okay, Emi, grab onto me." Nicky turned to Emi only to see her puffing out her cheek.
"Silver, can you use your telekinesis so I can fly with you?" Emi ignored the groaning Nicky.
"That's going to take too much time. No offense Silver but you're kinda slow." Nicky added.
"I find that very offensive thank you very much..." Silver murmured to himself.
"Why don't Shadow grab Silver's wrist and run while you carry Emi?" Zonic huffed. Nicky tripped Emi so she fell backwards and held her bridal style while Shadow simple grabbed Silver's wrist without any problem.
"Hey!" Emi protested but Nicky ignored her.
"Follow me!" Zonic zoomed off and he was followed by Nicky and Shadow. All three trailing into blurs of colours to the naked eye. Emi had no choice but to lean on Nicky's chest and tuck her arms in while Silver was being dragged by Shadow and wasn't even touching the floor was his feet.
