Tails tests out his transporting machine on Amy however, she's accidentally sent to another dimension where there's another Sonic & co. Where is she? Meanwhile our Sonic, Shadow & Silver are on a mission to bring Amy back to their original world but easier said than done. They've to collect the 7 chaos emeralds to return back! "Curse you Freedom Fighters! I will be back with a bigger robot and it's going to be more evil and-" before Eggman could finish off his rants, Sonic cut him off with one of his own snarky remarks.
"Yeah yeah, whatever Baldy, just make sure to gimme a challenge will ya? I have better stuff to do than kick rusty metal you found from the junk yard!" Sonic pulled his bottom eyelid and stuck out his tongue.
"Why you little brat! Mark my words! I will be back with something spectacular, something evil!, eviiiiil ham..." Eggman escaped in his hovercraft with Decoe and Bocoe crushed under his weight in there.

"Some of us don't eat meat here you know!" Amy cried out and threw her hammer at Eggman like a boomerang but missed pathetically. "Oh.." the hammer came back to her and she caught it without trying.
"You...don't...eat...meat?" Sonic gasped in horror and clasped his chest where is heart is.
"Erm, I don't mind seafood but meat and chicken is just gross!"
"No wonder you never eat a chillidog with me! You don't know what you're missing Amy." Sonic shook her shoulders shaking her like a little doll.

"Wait for me Doctor!" Bokkun cried out. Before he followed the obese human, he turned to the freedom fighters and grinned. "This is for storming in the base to begin with!" he picked out an old fashioned television box out of his backpack and threw it at the heroes and then flew off with an ear-aching cackle.

"Duck!" Knuckles cried out and he grabbed both Sonic and Amy to the ground shielding them both from the T.V bomb which exploded quite a few feet away from them. When the smoke cleared, Knuckles gave the two hedgehogs a heated glare.
"T...Thanks for the save back there Knux." Sonic chuckled. Knuckles got up and picked Sonic up by the quills. "Yeowch!" he yelled in alarm.
"Next time, find a better time and place to flirt with Amy! I know, maybe on one of the dates you never show up on." Knuckles added the last sentence sarcastically.

"We weren't flirting!" Sonic hissed. He let go of Sonic making him fall on his butt with a 'thud'. Knuckles clasped Amy's hand with his mighty mitts and helped her up like a gentleman.
"Amy, find a better place to talk to the pest next time, okay?" Knuckles gave Amy a brotherly warning.
"Sorry, but he started it." Amy pointed at Sonic.
"Did not! You're the one who answered that you're a vegetarian."
"I'm a pescetarian for your information. And I said to Eggface that 'Some of us don't eat meat'. I didn't say I'm a vegetarian did I?"
"Guys..." Knuckles tried to break the conversation but he was ignored.

"Knuckles, what's going on?" Sally ran towards the red echidna only to observe Sonic and Amy arguing about the most stupidest thing ever. She snickered and then added: "Actually, I'll go see if the rest of the crew is fine, you handle those two love-hogs." she giggled and darted off.

"...if you don't eat meat..."
"...and chicken, Sonic!"
"Same thing!"
"No it's not! A chicken is a bird! A meat is a mammal!"
"As I was saying, if you don't eat any of that stuff, what happened to that basketful of chillidogs I gave you on your birthday? Huh?"
"...I..."
"Yeah?"
"I threw them away..."

All was silent. Knuckles' jaw dropped on the floor. Tails froze in place. Sonic's pupils dilated. The wind blew on their sides and there was no sound. Not a sound until...

THUD!

Sonic dropped on his knees on the ground and had both his hands on his head. He trembled. And then let out a small whimper as he murmured out something.
"What was that?" Amy cocked her head to one side in confusion. The air suddenly started to send chills down Amy's spine and she cautiously took a step back. Sonic stood up but his eyes were still hidden from anyone's view.

"I said..." he took a step forward and then looked up facing directly at Amy. "Run." his eyes seemed to be tinted with specks of red and his mouth was twisted in a malicious smirk. Amy didn't hesitate to dash off into the the nearby hilltops and boy was she running for her life.
"Sonic...are you okay?" Knuckles carefully placed one of his mitts on top of Sonic's shoulder however, Sonic ignored him.

"Her ten second head start is up, now she's mine!" Sonic zoomed after the pink blur leaving Knuckles just standing there. Knuckles turned to Tails with a horrified expression and tried to speak but his mouth only opened and closed like a goldfish.
"Don't worry Knuckles, I'm sure Sonic knows what he's doing." Tails smiled nervously but he didn't sound the least bit reassuring. Knuckles gave him a look and then dug underground to tunnel towards Sonic's destination.

"Knuckles! I wouldn't go after Sonic if I were you!" Tails yelled through the hole of the tunnel but all he got was a echo of 'I'm not just gonna stand there...' Tails sighed. "I better go and finish off building my planes then." he sent a weary look towards the same direction Sonic ran off to.

(With Amy)

The pink hedgehog was now huffing and puffing. She has been running non-stop for five minutes at full speed. Don't get her wrong, her endurance is much better than that. It's just it's nearly evening and she hasn't even had her breakfast yet forget lunch. Amy spun on her heels to look around her surroundings. Not a hedgehog to be seen. Just grass and rocks and trees and more grass. Amy took this as a cue to relax and leaned on one of the trees by her to take a breather.

"Phew, that was a close one." Amy panted and had her arms wrapped around the tree for support. "I'm so hungry and thirsty and tired. Eggman really has done it this time." she buried her head on the tree trunk and sighed. Suddenly, she realised something and her head snapped to the direction behind her. "For the fastest thing alive, he really is taking his time." Her ears turned to another direction. The sound of branches snapping was heard from the opposite direction. Amy turned around to see the blue hedgehog leaning against the tree with one hand to support his weight while his height towered over Amy's.

"I didn't know you were a tree hugger." Sonic hissed as Amy gasped. She gulped and chuckled nervously while twiddling with her fingers.
"Yeah, me neither-heh, it's a new trend! You should try it eheh..." she spoke casually. Sonic raised a brow and remained unamused to Amy's excuse. Amy took a step back however, wrong move for Amy because Sonic (using his signature speed) trapped her between him and the tree with both arms on each side of her. "Eek!" Amy squealed. She felt really small in this position.

As much as she loving the closeness between her and Sonic, the situation on the other hand...

"Do you realise what you've done?" Sonic asked with an intimidating tone. His face was just inches away from Amy's. "There were at least fifteen chillidogs in that basket. You threw them away just cos you don't eat meat...all that food gone to waste..."
"Sonic, you're the only one here who likes to eat chillidogs. The rest of us likes to eat normal food! Like pizza or pasta or-"
"You know the punishment of wasting chillidogs, right?" Sonic ignored her statement and leaned in closer to her face. She could feel him breathing on her face now.

Amy shook her head but froze when Sonic let out a quiet chuckle. He lifted both his arms and his fingers wiggled.
"No...NOT THIS AGAI- Stop! Ha ha haha! Sonic!" Amy guffawed as Sonic tickled her. His fingers tickled her from her hips to under her chin to behind her ears as Amy tried to get out of his grip. "S-Sonic! P-please! Stop! Hahaha!" Amy tried to push him away but it was futile since he was stronger and older. She dropped on the floor trying to run slash crawl away.

"You kidding me? I'm not gonna let ya off the hook just like that Ames. Now endure the torture!" Sonic exclaimed and his fingers tickled her faster reaching under her quills and on the side of her legs making her howl in laughter and clutch her stomach. Tears were visible on her eyelashes as she kicked and tried to stop Sonic.

"P-please hahah! Sonic! I-I'll do a-anything! Hahah!" Amy begged. Finally, Sonic's tickling ceased allowing Amy to catch her breath. She tried to sit up but found that Sonic was still hovering above her on the ground. 'He's so close...is he going to kiss me?' Amy hoped to herself trying to read Sonic's emotions through his apple green eyes.

"You thought I was going to kiss ya now didn't ya?" Sonic teased and flicked Amy's nose earning a protesting squeak from her. He helped her up by grasping her hand gently.
"Well, what do you expect when someone's so close to your face that you could literally feel them breathing on you?" Amy spat back and huffed. She straightened her headband and dress.
"Touché," Sonic clicked his tongue. "Anyyyyy-way, you said that you'd do anyyyy-thing if I stop tickling ya. Wanna hear my offer?" Sonic's eyes shimmered with glee.

"Something tells me I'm not going to like this one," Amy muttered but it was loud enough for Sonic's ears to pick up. He smirked in a more sly way releasing more butterflies in Amy's stomach.
"You've threw away fifteen chillidogs- which I spent so much time picking for ya. I had to see which one had the most chilli on top with melted cheese and sweet, sweet caramelised onions and the most freshest buns..." he spoke in a dreamy fashion but was cut off by Amy's fake cough to grab his attention. "Because of that, you've gotta make me one hundred and fifteen chillidogs." he ended quickly.

Amy blinked and shook her head to double check of she was dreaming.
"You're joking right?" Sonic shook his head at Amy's answer. "One hundred and fifteen? Are you mad? I have better stuff to do than make you chillidogs." Amy attempted to storm off but Sonic grabbed her arm.
"Those chillidogs costed me ten rings each!" he pouted "And you threw 'em away!"
"So you bought them. Didn't make them."
"I don't even know how to cook without food poisoning anyone and besides..." Sonic tugged on Amy's arm making her fall onto his chest and grip his shoulders for balance. "If you don't make 'em," a shadow was casted over his eyes giving him a demonic look "I'll torture you again."

Amy took note of it but also wanted to take advantage with the physical closeness between her and Sonic so she trailed her finger in circles on his chest and replied with a smug grin.
"O-kayyyy Sonikku, but don't I get anything in return?" she batted her eyelashes flirtatiously receiving a confused gesture from Sonic himself which then turned into a sweat drop expression.

'Just when I had things under control, she tries to claim dominance again.' Sonic sighed and shook his head.
"Nope." he simply stated and softly pushed Amy off of his chest earning a frustrated growl from Amy. He started to walk towards the direction of the destroyed HQ with a 'victory' smile plastered on his face.
"You always do that!" she folded her arms and walked by Sonic. Her lips were twisted into a pout.
"Do what?" Sonic asked innocently.

"Don't act dumb you jerk. Just a minute ago you were happily flirting with me and trying to sweet talk with me and then you just push me away like it never happened." Amy put her nose in the air and had her eyes closed as she walked with him.
"I wasn't flirtin'. What cha' on about Ames?" Sonic sucked in his teeth but had his eyelids lowered. Amy's eyes snapped opened.
"You were TICKLING me."
"Yeah, tickling. Not flirting."
"It counts as flirting." Sonic scoffed at her answer.
"Mmm? Since when? What proof do you have?"

Amy stopped walking and pointed a finger at his nose making him stop as well.
"Google it!" she walked off leaving Sonic behind. Alone. With no one around. Except an odd bird flying or two.
"Hey! Not everything on the internet is true!" Sonic yelled but Amy only shouted 'Whatever' from a distance and waved him off. Sonic rolled his eyes but then grinned to himself silently.

"Was I flirting or was I flirting? Heh heh. You'll never know the answer Amy." he chuckled to himself and rubbed the bridge under his nose with one finger. "Well, maybe one day." he added.

Rumble...rummmmbbbbleee...

"Whoa...yoooooo!" Sonic stumbled as the ground below him began to crumble looking like something is about to pop out any moment right now. In a second, a familiar oversized spiked fist shot out of the ground followed by a red arm and then the rest of the owner's body. "Knuckles?" Sonic squinted at the echidna in confusion. "What are you doing here?" Knuckles gave Sonic a furious looking glare making the hedgehog's ears bend downwards.

"Where is Amy!" Knuckles grabbed Sonic's shoulders and shook him like he weighed as light as a feather. Because he was getting shaken up, Sonic was finding it difficult to answer. "What did you do to her! You better not have done anything stupid you idiot!" Now there were swirls on Sonic's eyes indicating that someone is a little dizzy. It took a few seconds for that to trail to Knuckles' brain making him drop the blue pest on the floor.

"Uggghhhhhhhh." Sonic groaned and clutched his stomach. Imagine going on a ride that spins you round and round and round and then tips you upside down at a very fast pace. Yep, that's how our blue hero was feeling right now. He shook his head to snap out of his daze and kicked one leg in the air to flip backwards and land on his feet. He then looked at Knuckles and glared at the rad red. "What was that for?" Sonic had his hands on his hips and tapped his foot impatiently.

"Don't play dumb with me! What did you do with Amy?" Knuckles growled and had his fists in front of him.
"I didn't do anythin'! What's goin' on in that pea sized brain of yours pal?" Sonic pointed to Knuckles' head angrily. Knuckles shoved his finger out of the way roughly and gritted his teeth before retorting.
"How do I know you're not lying? Me and Tails saw that evil look on your face when you went after Amy! I swear if you've laid a finger on her or dared to ruin her innocence-"
"Why would I hurt Amy? You know I'd never do that no matter what!" Sonic got a little defensive and clenched his fists by his sides.

"Why should I believe you? Get here you pest!" before Knuckles could aim a punch at the speedster, Amy came into his view running up the hill. "Amy? You're okay?" Knuckles cocked his head to the side. He glanced at Sonic who sent a look 'I told you so.'

"Hey you guys! Vanilla and Cream has made some sandwiches for us all." Amy cheered as she showed the two older males before her the basket of food in her hand. "It's so very nice of them don't you think?" Amy stopped by Knuckles and tilted her head to the side and giggled as chibi blushes appeared on her cheeks.

'How the heck does she do that?' Sonic gulped. In his vision, he could practically see bokeh dots sparkling around the pink girl as she was still in her cute smiley stance. A hit on the back of the head brought him back to reality. Sonic turned towards Knuckles only to see him whistling not so innocently.

"So, looks like you're not hurt or anything Amy." Knuckles stated and relaxed a little. Amy blinked twice.
"Why would I be? All I did was go get food. Anyway, come on you lot! Lets eat! Sally is with Bunny, Antoine, Rover and even Monkey Khan! Or is his name Monkey Ken? I dunno but anyway, they already filled up a table by the park so that just leaves us three and Tails and Cream." Amy winked.

"Well, I sure am hungry. Thanks to you, I missed a 'Knuckle' sandwich." Sonic casually put an arm around Knuckles' shoulder who simply rolled his eyes at his friend.
"Well hurry! I'm dying to eat the salmon and cream cheese sandwiches in here." she lifted the basket and lead the boys towards the nearby park. Luckily for the boys, she was oblivious to their whispering.

"And you thought I would hurt her." Sonic spoke in a harsh but quiet whisper.
"Even Tails was kinda freaked out by your face." Knuckles replied slightly louder. Sonic raised a brow and shook his quills.
"And I thought Shadow was the only over-protective brother like figure Amy has."
"Pffft! I'm a better brother figure than anyone else here." Knuckles gloated.
"Sure, sure. But can you use your brain sometimes? Why would I do anything drastic to Amy for something as simple as throwing away chillidogs? Even if they were meaty...juicy...spicy...and...tasty..." Sonic's ears drooped at the thought of his prized food rotting away in the dump somewhere.

"Are you seriously gonna cry over chillidogs? You big baby." Knuckles snickered. Sonic playfully punched his shoulder and put on a pouty face.
"Me? Cry? When have you ever seen me cry?" Sonic had his arms folded behind his head.
"When you were ten, I pushed you in the kiddie pool and you cried like a waterfall cos you couldn't swim. And you still can't." Sonic sucked his breath in and his eye twitched.
"I...I-um...I dunno what'cha talkin' about Knux." Sonic bit his bottom lip.

"I know all your secrets hedgehog," Knuckles proudly stuck his nose in the air.
"Oh yeah? Like what?" Sonic challenged "Me not able to swim is no secret. Practically, the whole world knows about it bro." Sonic didn't hear an answer from the guardian and smirked. Obviously, this hedgehog has no secrets kept. I mean, Sonic has no reason to keep a secret. He's too outgoing and loud. What secret could there simply be? Sonic waited for Knuckles to give up in frustration but he received a complete opposite.

"Aha! I got it!" Knuckles exclaimed in triumph. He peeked at Amy to see that she was ahead and a fair distance away from the duo humming a tune and skipping. She is only twelve after all heh. Sonic glanced at Knuckles in curiosity.
"Found a secret yet Knuxter?" Sonic's emerald eyes met Knuckles amethyst ones.
"You bet."
"Oho? And what might that be?" Knuckles took a deep breath before starting:
"...Sonic and Amy sitting by the tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G," Knuckles sang quietly. Instantly, blood rushed to both of Sonic's cheeks flustering him with the colour of raspberries putting Knuckles' fur to shame.

"W-what?" Sonic yelped and clasped his hand over Knuckles' mouth to prevent him from saying anything further. "Shut up! It's nothing like that. I don't like her that way." Sonic's blush said otherwise. Knuckles removed Sonic's hand from his moth and replied:
"It's getting too obvious lately. Everybody knows that it ain't one sided. By that, I mean everybody but Amy sees the obvious." Knuckles chuckled at Sonic's expression.

"What do you mean obvious? I'm not d-doing anything." Sonic muttered.
"It's not the clichéd you looking at her dreamily while she's not looking or you blushing 24/7 when she's around. You're always so over-protective of her, you always check on her in the morning before she awakes-"
"So that I see whether Eggman has kidnapped her or not, again!" Sonic interrupted.
"There are a ton of reasons I could list-"
"I. Don't. Like. Her. That. Way." Sonic spoke in his final tone.

"Alright man, so defensive. Don't worry; your super obvious secret is safe with me." Knuckles shoved Sonic in the side of his rib jokily and added a wink.
"Grr, Knuckles, drop it." Sonic puffed out one of his cheeks to the side and pushed the laughing echidna away from him.
"Usually I'm the hotheaded one here and you're the one acting cool." Knuckles sped up his walking pace while Amy was far ahead of the duo.

"At least I'm not the one who's fallen for Rouge." Sonic came back with a comeback that halted Knuckles to a standstill. The cerulean hedgehog gave a small 'heh' as Knuckles turned to face him.
"Are you mad? Batgirl? Why the heck would I fall for her!? She's always trying to steal MY Master Emerald and don't forget that she's a thief and worked with Scourge once!" Knuckles roared making the birds in the nearby trees fly out. However, Knuckles' outburst also attracted some unwanted company.

"Hey boys," speak of the devil, Rouge the Bat appeared out of nowhere (well, to the boys) and walked towards them in her usual flirty way, swaying her hips and her hands on each side of them as her high heeled boots made 'clip clop' noise against the dry soil ground. "What's with all the shouting Knuckie? Something about me being a thief? I hope you're not speaking behind my back cos you know what I do to those who do so, right?" Rouge played with one of Knuckles' dreads between her fingers.

"Er...err..." Knuckles stammered confused on what to do. "What are you doing!? Stop that!" Knuckles swatted her hand away very red in the face causing his muzzle to blend in with his fur. He took a step back but then narrowed his eyes when Rouge laughed at his fuming face. "What's so funny, Batgirl!" Knuckles raised his fist and jarred his canines at the bat but she didn't seem the least bit fazed.

"Your face! Hah! Anyway, that's not why I've come here for." Rouge added and looked to her side. An annoyed Amy came into view with her arms crossed.
"It doesn't take five minutes to walk down that hill you know!" she huffed and grabbed both Sonic's and Knuckles' arm and turned around dragging them both with her to their destination. Rouge followed suit with them.

"Hey Pinky! Try not to break Knuckie's arm while you're at it." Rouge remarked
"The name is Knuckles! N-U-K-E-L-S! Knuckles!" Amy let go of Knuckles' arm and stifled her laughter with the very same hand. She looked at him as if she was about to burst in laughter.
"Knuckles..." Sonic bit his tongue to prevent angering the guardian any further.

Rouge took this opportunity to link her arms with Knuckles and pull on one of his cheeks and then bursting out in laughter- again.
"Did ya ever go to school buddy?" Sonic snickered but then let out a yelp as Amy tugged on Sonic's arm even harder in order to increase the pace.
"We're here," Amy chirped and presented the table that was occupied by Tails and Cream along with a basketful of assorted yet delicious sandwiches, fruits and juice.

"Hey there bro!" Tails gave a wave and beckoned the four mobians to join him and Cream with supper "It's getting dark soon so we better finish this off quickly." he added.
"Oh boy I'm starved!" Sonic quipped in his quirky 'tude and ran towards the table this time dragging Amy with him. Rouge turned to the Knuckles who looked slightly embarrassed.
"Hey Knuxy, next time I see you, I will teach you how to spell, okay?" she winked. Knuckles raised his brow and looked away.
"I know how to spell well enough Batgirl. But, if you insist, I'll see you trying to humiliate yourself." Knuckles gruffly accepted the opportunity his own way as they both approached the table.

"Awww, there's no meat here! Only fish and other stuff." Sonic whined as he picked up a cheese and tomato sandwich. He bit into it and chewed thoughtfully. "Mmm, not bad." He spoke with his mouth full and took a bigger bite.
"Thanks again Cream." Amy bowed her head in gratefulness. "You have no idea how long I've been hungry for." Amy bit into her sandwich with a satisfied smile.

"Grapes, yum yum." Knuckles grinned and popped several of his beloved fruits at once into his mouth. "Very sweet too." he ate with content and continued to scarf down more grapes into his mouth.
"Careful, you might choke." Rouge slapped her hand on Knuckles' back- very hard making the grapes shoot out of his mouth and onto Tails' face. Tails wiped off the excess spit off his face and let out a little 'oh brother'.
"Hey! What was that for?" Knuckles barked and then grumbled. "What are you doing here anyway?" he had his eyes closed as he enjoyed his fruits.

Rouge took a sip of some juice and then answered.
"While you guys were fighting Eggman, Shadow and I received a message at G.U.N from Zails in No Zone." Rouge stated and leaned her elbows on the table to carry on speaking.

"Oh, now that I think about it, I wonder how Nicky and them lot are doing." Amy added. Sonic's ears perked up and sat up straight. He was curious on how their counterparts were doing at the moment.
"They're all safe and sound at the moment however, Scourge stole a chaos emerald from No Zone and disappeared back to his own world without a trace." Rouge'd tone changed from calm and cool to slightly annoyed.
"Wait, whut? Ah man! Does he always have to ruin everything? Now that's three chaos emeralds in the anti world." Sonic groaned and stood up. "Have they found the other emerald in No Zone?"

"They're on their way. They've mapped the location of the emerald." Rouge turned to Tails and asked "Are you guys going to help them or not?"
"Of course we are when they reach the anti world. They can handle themselves in No Zone, especially under Zonic and the other Zonecops' guidance." the kitsune had full faith in his and his friend's counterparts along with the Zonecops. Nothing will make him think otherwise, even if Scourge did steal all the chaos emeralds that belongs to Nicky, they will always find a way to defeat him. Good always overcomes evil.

"I just wonder, why would that mean Scourge need Nicky's and Emi's world's chaos emeralds." Cream spoke and folded her arms on the table leaning on to them. Her chao Cheese babbled in agreement as he watched the sunset along with the rest of the group.

'I hope they're okay...' the very same thought ran through the groups' minds as the sky turned from baby blue, to flaming orange, to light pink and then fading into darkness.

(In No Zone)

"Konbanwa! Onee-Sama!" Emi and Silver chorused as they entered Zails' laboratory and glomped Shadow who was there before them. Shadow was taken off guard and responded with a surprised grunt.
"Samishi katta desu, were you here the whole time?" Silver asked but at a fast speed since he's still in his hyper state. Shadow took a moment to compose but before he could answer, Emi beat him for it.
"No, he was with you at one point, remember?"
"I. Can't. BREATH!" Shadow tried to push the two young hedgehogs off of him but they refused to let go and only loosened their grip on the ultimate life form. "Ii kagen ni shiro..." Shadow tried to keep his cold hearted persona up.

"We won't let go until you hug us back." Emi cooed and nuzzled against Shadow's chest fur. 'His chest is so fluffy!' she giggled to herself. "Hey Nicky! Don't just stand there with that look, come and join us in this group hug." she gestured Nicky to come. Nicky snapped out of his annoyed stance after seeing Shadow getting all the attention- especially from the pink one. After all, those hugs are only meant for him and HIM only.

"Er...I would but Shadow looks like he's about to kill me." Nicky zipped by the black hedgehog who was still embraced by Emi and Silver. "Right Shadow?"
"I have no reason to kill you at the moment." Shadow raised his brow and had one hand on the back of Amy's head and the other on the back of Silver's head. It was a rare yet funny sight since Shadow's not the one you'd see have a paternal side of him. "You better not be drooling on my chest fur Silver," he threatened the hyper hedgehog.
"In that case..." Nicky had a cheeky grin creeping up his face. He opened both his arms wide and glomped Shadow as well shouting out "Kusojijii!"

"Did you just call me...an old man?" Shadow's ruby eyes lit up in fury causing all three hedgehogs to let go of him. Emi let out a little 'Oh oh' while Silver just cheered on with 'Faito! Faito!'. Nicky let out a big sweat drop on one side of his forehead and had his hands out in front of him.
"Heh, calm down Shadz. I was just kidding." Nicky took a step back as Shadow advanced. You could literally see his whole body flaring up. "I won't say it again..."
"Emi, hammer." Shadow gestured his hand towards her. She looked at him horrified. "I won't kill him," she summoned her hammer and handed it to Shadow "For now." her horrified expression was back.

(five minutes later)

"Kisama! Emi!" Nicky whined as he kept the ice pack on the big bump on his head. "Why'd you give him the hammer for? I thought you forgave me."
"Sorry but I should always listen to Onee-Sama because that's what good little sisters do." she answered with her eyes closed.
"He's not even your real brother." Silver snorted now back into his normal state. "On the bright side Nicky, he didn't kill you did he." the albino boy sat up straighter on the chair he was sitting. The four hedgehogs were sitting on a high tech table that was made of a thick blue tinted glass that had holograms of a few plans the Zonecops are coming up with. Speaking of the Zonecops, they were at the end of the room having a quiet discussion of their plan ignoring the four hedgehogs and their recent antics.

"He'd never want to kill me though he's never gonna admit that." Nicky huffed as Shadow let out a 'hmmph!' Nicky glared at Emi again who was daydreaming on her seat. "Hey, next time he asks for your hammer, don't give it to him." Emi snapped out of her day dream and glanced at Nicky. She pretended to think for a moment before replying.
"Okay, but I can't promise you that, haha." she giggled and watched Nicky's face turn from annoyed to shock.
"You little-" Nicky was cut off by Shadow.
"Touch her, you die."

"The advantages of having Shadow as your big brother. Can you be my big brother too?" Silver tilted his head slightly and drooped his ears to give him that boy lolita look. Shadow's eyes twitched and couldn't look away before resulting with a sigh.
"Looks like I have another brat to look after..." he muttered paying no attention to Silver's small victory yelp.
"Does that make us brothers and sisters now?" Emi's eyes sparkled at the idea of it. Silver nodded and and raised his hand for Emi to high five him. "Yey! Oh, too bad Nicky-Kun can't join us. He's my future husband after all~ not a brother, ew." she added while Nicky just face palmed himself.

"I'll decide who you marry Rozu, and it's definitely not going to be Nicky the Faker." Shadow smirked and folded his arms along with closing his eyes.
"Wait, you can't decide who she gets to marry!" Nicky banged his fist on the table. Unfortunately, the holograms fizzed from the impact of Nicky's fist against it. The fizz made a horrible electric whirring sound causing the hedgehogs to cover their ears in annoyance. Luckily, this caught the attention of the four Zonecops making them approach the hedgehogs. Znuckles pounded the table again causing the fizzing to cease relieving Nicky, Emi, Silver and Shadow allowing them to uncover their ears.

"See what I mean. You leave them for five minutes and this is what happens." Zonic scoffed but it was more or less directed at Nicky who puffed out his cheek in annoyance.
"Always picking on me, eh?" the cyan teen muttered under his breath.
"Leave the kid alone Zonic, at least he didn't break the table like you did last year." Znuckles chortled and clasped his gloved hand on Zonic's shoulder. "And boy did you get some scolding from Warden." Zonic's eyes widened and then shrugged Znuckles' hand off of his shoulder and cleared his throat.

"That wasn't relevant Znuckles." Zails shook his head. "Despite what has happened so far, I've located the chaos emerald in this world and it's quite far from here. The good thing is that we can go aboard our hovercrafts to the destination however, it's by where a large assassin organisation group was recently spotted. They are ruthless and merciless killers and if they find that emerald before us, lets just say it's bye bye to going home and if they see you guys, it's bye bye to your life." Zails clarified and let the hedgehogs soak in all the information.

"We better hurry. It's already nine and night time is dangerous in No Zone. Very dangerous." Zamy warned. "We should suit up right now. Should we give the Primes any weapons or anything like that?" she peered at Zonic. He shook his head letting his elongated quills shake at the same time. It's one of the physical features of Zonic that Zamy admired so it was kind of hard for her to not look away.
"Their natural abilities are reliable enough. But, I suppose it wouldn't hurt if we give them a gun or something." Zonic's emerald eyes drifted to Zamy and realised that she had a dreamy expression on her face staring at him. The four Zonecops walked out of the room to suit up quickly.

"I get to use a gun? Er...I don't know how to shoot. I mean-um..." Amy chuckled nervously and cowered a bit down on her chair. Shadow stuck out one of his hands and mimicked it as a gun.
"You just pull the trigger and then, BAM!" Shadow put his hand down. "But then again, there are times where the bullets have ran out and you've to refill them and I just showed you how to shoot a simple pistol."
"Wow, you won't let her choose who she gets to marry but you're alright with her handling a gun? Some big brother you are." Nicky glared at Shadow while his rival just rolled his eyes.

"You still angry about that?" Silver spoke in a unamused tone. "She's still got a long time to get married you know." Nicky turned away from Silver sweating slightly and stood up from his chair.
"Yakamashii," Nicky muttered. "Besides, I don't think any of us needs a gun. I have my speed, Shadow has his chaos powers, you have telekinesis and Emi has her hammer. We've beaten Eggman too many times, we've defeated weird creatures and monsters not to mention Black Doom, right Shadow? What harm could a bunch of assassins do to us? I think the Zonecops just underestimates us just cos we're the youngest and rebellious."

"I hate being seen as useless." Silver admitted and stood up as well. "But, I always wondered what it would be like shooting with a gun. I never tried it before."
"Noroma, guns are unethical and merciless. That's why I hate them so much. You definitely don't need a gun to begin with. You could just lift up a boulder with your powers and throw 'em at the assassins." Nicky clamped his hand on Silver's shoulder. Emi stood up from her seat as well and gave a smile. She summoned her hammer and twisted it between her fingers.
"You're right! As long as I have my hammer with me, I'll be just fine." Emi blew a kiss since it's her signature move.
"Atta girl Emi." Nicky winked and ruffled her bangs. Nicky then stood in front of the table opposite of Shadow. "Well, aren't you gonna say somethin'?"

"I'm using a gun." Shadow stated without hesitation. Nicky narrowed his eyes before insulting that wiser hedgehog.
"Yowamushi. You're gonna depend on a piece of metal instead of your so called 'ultimate' powers hmm?" surprisingly, Shadow didn't break into a raging fit and try to kill Nicky. Instead, he smirked.
"You'll regret not trusting the Zonecops. They all have the same abilities as us yet they're using these weapons too. If they say that we need guns, we'll need them. It's not like I'm a wimp or anything. There are average humans and mobians out there that could actually kill us out there you know. Well, you guys, after all I'm practically indestructible."

The door of laboratory opened and Zonic, Zamy, Znuckles stepped inside the room in their suits and a belt armed with a gun. Zails was the only one without a suit however he had a belt and wore a weird high tech gun.
"You didn't break anything else while we were gone right?" Znuckles asked and only received a face palm from Nicky. "Just kidding, we changed our plans slightly though." This got the four hedgehogs' attention.

"I've got some cloak that has an alloy that camouflages with everything. Literally, it's like an invisible cloak." Zails introduced the cloak to the four. It looked like an ordinary green cloak that was big enough to cover at least five mobians but when Zails wrapped it around Silver's body, it turned invisible like there was nothing there other than the uncovered head and parts if his quills. "We thought it would be best if you guys wore the cloak and looked for the emerald while we help as well as fight any oncoming threat."

"Hey Nicky! It's just like the cloak in Harry Potter!" Emi squealed and using the corner of the cloth, she wrapped it around her hand only for it to turn invisible. "Omoshiroi! Could we keep it? Please?" Emi zoomed towards Zails waiting for consent. The fox chuckled and scratched the back of his head.
"S-sorry. It's the only one we have at the moment since I just recently made it. The alloys are quite rare to find in this world."
"Oh, okay! Then we'll make the most of this cloth right guys?" Nicky and Silver shrugged.
"So, no guns for us?" Shadow spoke monotonously and Zamy shook her head at him. She got out a very advanced pistol out of her belt and studied it.

"Nope. You do more than just pull a trigger on these babies." she tossed the gun in the air and caught it swiftly putting it back in her belt giving a wink the Shadow. Zails gestured the Zonecops to one of his tablets and showed them some other information about the whereabouts of assassins. They haven't been seen for a while now making suspicions rise.
"Looks like Emi doesn't need to learn to shoot with a gun after all." Nicky gloated and waggled his eyebrows at Shadow who only made a noise of disgust at him. Looks like the ultimate onee-sama doesn't have control over everything his little rozu.
"You're still not marrying her." he countered back. Nicky furrowed his eyebrows and stood in front of Shadow.

"I didn't say anything about marriage! I'm never gonna get married, never!" he blew a raspberry like a little child across your street who always makes faces every time you walk past its house.
"Never say never Nicky-Kun. We are definitely gonna get married. You're just too shy to admit~" Emi cooed and you could see floating pink hearts bubbling in her jade green eyes.
"But Shadow says no." Silver reminded her the ugly truth. Emi wasn't fazed and only waved him off.
"Oh hush you. Shadow's just trying to make fun of Nicky. But if he really means it, then I'll be a runaway bride! And Nicky will be my runaway groom. We'll elope and live happily ever after." Emi smugly held her nose in the air.

"Get real Emi," Nicky snickered "I'll be a free man all my life." Emi pouted and leaned in his face.
"Hidoi. Don't deny it Nicky, I know you love me." she rubbed her nose against his making Nicky step back and put his hands on her shoulders to stop her from giving him any more Eskimo kisses.
"Hey Shadow, try and imagine Emi running away in a wedding dress." Silver nudged the Mr Grumps- I mean Shadow, yes Shadow. The said hedgehog tucked a finger under his muzzle and cracked a tiny smile.
"I'd be lying if I said that I didn't find that humorous." Silver nodded but let out a small sigh while Nicky and Emi carried on their 'lovey dovey' conversation.

"Why are you so glum? That's my job." Shadow enquired while his ruby eyes scanned Silver's now depressed form.
"Oh? Me? What are you on about-"
"Don't chat crap. Now spill," Shadow admonished in a spine chilling voice. "Since you made me become your brotherly figure, my responsibility is obviously to look after you." he tried to keep the tough act up and as unemotional as possible. Silver smiled at his concern for him and decided to tell him. After all, Shadow can keep a secret since he really doesn't have anyone to tell them to.

"I...I just miss Blaze, that's all." Silver quickly confessed and ducked his head down in embarrassment. "I know it's only been two days but I don't really feel complete without her, it kind of makes me uneasy and..."
"Insecure?" Shadow was now looking at Silver and really looking at him. He studied the emotions Silver was displaying and the feelings that were bubbling inside his eyes metaphorically of course.
"Ki ni shinaide, I know how you feel."
"R-really?"
"Every time when Maria had to be taken in the infirmary room at Ark for tests and cures, I had to wait days for her to come back to me. I wasn't always this cold before you know." Silver blinked in awe. Shadow was not one to care usually forget emphasizing. It warmed up Silver's heart of the fact that Shadow trusts him about this fact.

"Okay Shadow, I trust you." Silver gave a goofy grin while Shadow scoffed at him.
"Keh, just don't end up like our Kyapi Kyapi Gyaru here just cos I told you something." He nodded towards Emi who seemed to have the upper hand of her argument with Nicky.

"...why are you so obsessed with marriage?" Nicky cried now feeling really defeated at this very persistent girl. Emi was about to begin before getting cut off by him again "Actually, forget what I said. Don't answer that."
"Oh? And why not?" Emi had both her hands on her hips and held a smile full of sweet victory on winning the argument, while kind of.
"Cos you're just gonna start a huge lecture on love and dresses and kissing and all that yucky stuff."
"Why you? How dare you insult the beauty of marriage? Huh? I'll teach you a lesson!" Emi summoned her hammer to the same size as herself. Before she could yield it;

"Emi, muri shinaide. We still need Nicky in one piece." Zonic called out sternly as he dashed between Nicky and Emi. "All four of you, follow Zails and Znuckles. They'll lead you to the hovercraft. Zamy and I will gather the cloak and meet you guys there in a bit." he ordered.
"Yes sir!" Znuckles yelled and walked out of the laboratory with his head held high along with Zails. The four hedgehogs trailed behind them still getting used to the complexity of the advanced building. As soon as they were all out of the room, Zonic took this as an opportunity to discuss something with Zamy.

"Zamy," Zonic called her making her heed attention to him.
"Yeah?" she picked up two of the corners of the quilt while her ears were still perked up to show she was listening to him. It's natural for the young Zonecop to multi task all the time.
"What exactly did you discuss with young Emi? And don't fib, you know not to." Zonic crossed his arms. He didn't have his green helmet on, just the mask therefore, his quills were visible and free to move about. Even Zamy and Znuckles are without a helmet too.
"Ummm," she bit down on her lip and looked up at Zonic grasping his intense stare on her. It was only times when they were alone or with less people that Zonic would be more open with her and she would be more open with him.

"You told her about your past inability to walk, didn't you?" he read through her straight like a book. She shouldn't feel surprised at this but it was just unexpected. "I'm not angry or anything. It's your secret to tell after all." One moment Zonic was like a couple meters away from her, the next, he was right in front of her with little personal space. She breathed out in relief thanking God that Zonic wasn't angry but as well as cursing herself for thinking that in the first place.

"You feel better now? Hmm?" Zonic pressed the golden oval on the side of his mask to lift it up so the glass uncovered the top half of his face. He did the same for Zamy. "I've observed that your stealth skills goes down when you're worried or nerved about something." his voice was now at a low and husky tone. "We don't want that happening out there do we? You've seen what those anonymous assassins did to Zector and Zlaze. I don't want a scar on your pretty face either." his face was terribly close to hers.

Unlike his counterparts, Sonic and Nicky, he didn't really resist Zamy's affections frequently or run away from her most of the time. Sometimes, he's the one who pursues her and gives her some attention. Not dating or anything like that. He's already kissed her once without hesitation but that was so she could walk again from the power of the chaos emeralds in their world which are now deceased. There isn't any reason for Zonic not to kiss her again. Maybe his duties and ego and the fact he's constantly targeted.

His lips brushed against hers first. A tease to see her reaction.
"Zonic? Are you going to-" Zamy blinked down in confusion. He was getting bolder and bolder as time goes on. She was cut off by his finger on her lips.
"Ssh, close your eyes and feel." Zonic hushed and wrapped one of his arms around her waist pulling her towards his chest while his other hand held her cheek. This caused her to drop the cloak in progress. "I will ease away all your negative thoughts." his voice was barely above a whisper for Zamy's ears only.
"Zonic..." she breathed his name out. Her stomach felt like it was twisting up and down and the sensations of his touch on her body tingled around her whole frame.

Zonic's lips connected with Zamy's in a sweet embrace. He captured her top lip first before moving to the bottom letting his lips do the magic. Zamy leaned in trying to get deeper into the kiss wanting more of that feeling. Genuine. Sincere. Care. Possessiveness. Love. Her knees were wobbling in pleasure and gave way. Luckily, Zonic had her in his arms which made her body lean into his more. He pulled away, his eyes half lidded and pecked her on the forehead.
"I've waited for a long time to do this," his face was serious but full of desire at the same time.
"Do...do you love me?" Zamy attempted to pull away from Zonic's arms but he tightened her grip around and answered.
"Would I kiss you if I didn't?" he smiled making Zamy's lips brighten up into a smile.

"Holy sweet love of Mobius..." Nicky whispered at the sight that was before them. His knees nearly gave way at the majestic contraption and the complexity of it.

It was nothing other than a hovercraft of the Zonecop force. It was a deep silver in colour. The lines of the metallic plates were replaced with a cyan glowing energy running through it. It looked like advanced electricity. The hovercraft itself was humongous, it looked extra-terrestrial. It was coated in a smooth even metallic silvery paint. On the sides of it was the 'Z' logo imprinted on it glowing in the very same cyan colour. The windows was only at the front but it was tinted in black so the people outside the hovercraft couldn't see the people inside. The machine was already floating and you could hear the electricity inside of it humming.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Zails stroked the side of the machine. "I designed as well as built this one based on Zilver's psychokinesis and the colour of his fur. It's my newest product so far," Zails sighed contently.
"Wow, it really does capture my looks. I could actually blend in with this." Silver bounced about looking at every handiwork that Zails has made on the machine. "If our Tails back home saw this, he's be really jealous." Silver stroked the side of the hovercraft.

"What is this blue light? You could see it flowing through the gaps." Emi awed at it. The blue light contained tiny specks of spheres that was floating through the gaps and sticking towards the surface of the gap.
"It's actually an accident. I designed it to have normal electricity running through these gaps making it glow yellow instead and act as a shield to anyone who touches it. Zilver accidently used his powers to move some wires in process of building transforming the electrons and currents to a soothing blue light. Touch it." Zails dipped his hand in one of the gap. Nothing happened.

Shadow put a finger in and felt it going warm in a soothing fashion. He took his finger out and saw some of the cyan electrons on it. The electrons was suddenly forced back into the gaps.
"So do these electrons have any source of metal in them?" Shadow asked.
"Yeah, they contain potarophyl in them. Zilver's telekinesis and the electrons fused creating this new element. The gaps in the hovercraft has a coating of liquid magnet that is very weak but can only attract potarophyl electrons."

"I can't wait to see what it looks like inside." Nicky quipped. Footsteps echoed on the floor gripping everyone's attention. They all turned around to see Zonic and Zamy holding the cloth. They both had their masks on along with a serious expression.
"Everyone ready?" Zonic spoke in a professional tone.
"Yes sir!" the Zonecops saluted while the for hedgehogs merely nodded. "Then lets go."
"Ryoukai!" Nicky saluted making the leader of the Zonecops crack a smirk. Zails turned to one of his control panels and a hologram of the hovercraft floated above it. Zails tapped a few times in the air. You could see the cyan ripples in the air where his fingers made contact.

The hovercraft hummed louder and revved up indicating that it has now powered on. It sunk down on the floor and a metal plate on the side of it pushed forward revealing that it's a rectangle shape and lifted upwards. The inside of the machine lit up making some of the seats visible.
"I didn't even know that was even there." Nicky gasped.
"The lovely world of technology." Silver concluded and decided to go inside first.

The inside of the hovercraft was a dim cyan colour and the the sheets of metal on the walls were translucent showing that some of the potarophyl electrons were just on the other side of it. The seats were pitch black with seatbelts and the driver's seat had a glass control board in front of it with cyan signs and buttons and symbols on it. They all took their respectable seats in the hovercraft with Zails as the driver, Zonic on the seat by the driver and the rest of them in the passenger seats.

"This is way past cool." Emi kicked her legs excitedly but accidently kicked the seat in front of her which was occupied by Znuckles.
"Hey!" he yelled and looked back to see Emi bending her ears down apologetically.
"Sorry." Znuckles gave a grin and shook her off.

"You used one of my famous lines, didn't ya?" Nicky poked her shoulder as his seat was by hers. Excluding Zonic's and Zails' seat, there were eight seats in the hovercraft four by four (four on the right, four on the left vertically)
"Maybe," she answered with a fake innocent tone making Nicky guffaw.
"Oi Nicky! Think that fox-boy back home will be able to pull off something like this?" Shadow raised his brow at his faker. Even he himself was quite fond of all of this futuristic stuff.
"Don't underestimate my little buddy, of course he can. Just wait till he's ten and you'll see!" Nicky spoke in a determined town.

"Alright everyone, listen to me," Zails called from the front "I'm now going to turn this machine to stealth mode before driving off. I'll warn you just so you expect the unexpected." he pressed on a one of the symbols. "Engage stealth mode." he spoke into the small microphone he had on.

Stealth Mode Engaged

A robotic voice that sounded feminine boomed through the hovercraft. A moment later, the potarophyl electrons were no longer visible and the lights were turned off. The only source of light was Zails control board. The hovercraft floated up and the doors in front of it opened automatically. The machine then shot off out of the HQ and towards their destination.
"Here we go!" Nicky's eyes gleamed in excitement.

(Back in SEGA world- Tails' workshop)

Our young kitsune was sleeping on his desk after a tiring fight with one of Eggman's latest creations recently. Since Nicky, Emi, Silver and Shadow wasn't present, it was a lot harder to defeat the useless piece of junk. Luckily for him, Knuckles, Rouge and Blaze was there to help along with some assistance from Cream. When Eggman realised the rest of the team wasn't present, especially NICKY, Tails had to lie.

(Flashback)

"Where is that blue pest? In fact where is the rest of the team? Answer me you two tailed freak of nature!" Eggman demanded when Tails and the rest of the team showed up.
"They're off to fight a real villain." Tails fibbed and the stupid doctor fell for it.
"Nani? Real villains!? How dare you insult the great Eggman-Sama!" Eggman spat out "Robo-Eggnog! Attack!" he declared and the battle began...

(End of flashback)

"Eughhhh," Tails woke up and rubbed his eyes. His head was still sore after that nasty bump from getting hit by the robot itself. "Nicky...Emi...Silver...Shadow...what's talking you so long?" he moaned and stood up stretching his back and limbs. "Baka, they all should've listened to me instead of going into the machine like that. This is what happens when no one listens to me." his ears drooped down in sadness. "I miss you big bro," his thoughts changed to Nicky, his big brother and inspirational figure.

"Tails?" a female voice jolted the fox to reality. He turned to see that it was none other than Blaze. Her high heeled shoes tapped as she approached him. "Any news about them yet?" she asked.
"No, it's been two days already too." Tails sighed.
"Yeah, I just hope that Silver hasn't gotten himself into too much trouble." she was really concerned about her best friend. Especially since they're so close with each other. "You know what he's like," she sighed.

"Yeah, at one point he's all serious and stuff but most of the time, he's childish like Emi." he giggled. Blaze's lips upturned from a frown to a smile.
"How are you doing? You seem a little down."
"I miss them all."
"Oh,"

Tails then wore a determined face. He looked up at Blaze.
"But I know they're all going to come back. They will! I'll never lose faith in Nicky and the rest."
"Nicky?" she tilted her head in a confused manner.
"Oh, I mean Sonic. We call him Nicky so we can distinguish between him and his counterpart." Tails cleared it up and Blaze nodded. "Silver's going to be alright. He's a strong guy after all." Tails added to comfort the lavender feline. Her golden eyes lit up in glee.
"I know that already, he's my naive friend after all." she looked out of the window and into the sky. It was a cloudless night and stars were dotted around it.

'I miss you Silver...' she thought to herself.

A/N: aaaaand that's the end of this chapter folks. I asked my cousin how to spell 'Baka' and she told me that it was one 'k' after all. She made a blunder before therefore making me think it was double 'k' the whole time. Gomen everyone. Also, you know the hovercraft, I got inspired by EVE form Wall-E. The sleekness, the glossy texture. Ooh! And also Tron! Awesome movie that is.
