Chapter 22 Hiccup's night part 2
Hiccup's POV:
Okay so I had to admit it felt amazing being back in my body, being able to control every part of myself! Astrid had explained everything and know I was just playing around with my new wings and tail, along with my other dragon parts of me. Astrid just laughed at me.
"What, this is pretty cool Astrid, think about it as soon as Drago turned me, gave me these wings I became his weapon, I killed you and yet you survived, how?" I asked.
She frowned. "I'm alive because the Gods want me to fix the balance, you are one of their most powerful champions Hiccup, they need you back on their side, not the dark side." She said.
"Y-you m-met the gods?" I asked shocked.
She nodded. "yes, I have and I am here to make sure you return to the light, but...I haven't been able to fine any long term spells or anything that could turn you back, not fully at least."
"This is the best thing you could ever do for me Astrid to be back in my body even for a little while it gives me hope, I have control and I'm not dark, well not fully. ugh rurrr!"
"Hiccup! what's wrong?" She asked as she got to my side.
"I-I don't know, huh and its gone now..." I said.
What was that, I saw me, the dark me with bodies laying beneath my feet my sword in my hand I didn't want to think about it!
"I wanted to spend time with you Hiccup, you know...like before?" Astrid asked.
"Yeah, of course." I said.
that's when I notice what's on my dresser. I walked over and picked up the medal necklace.
"I-I remember this, I made it for our third dating anarvsery." I said. The necklace was all hand crafted and had Astrid's symbol and my symbol on it as charms.
"I haven't really worn it, the thought of you being gone, it hurts me so much to have to now that I couldn't save you, this is the first time in a long while since I've spoken to you." She said.
I pick up the second idem and tears prickle my eyes as I hold her wedding ring, the one I made for her.
"I will make him pay Astrid, he took me away from you!" I snapped.
"Our wedding isn't as important as getting you back to normal." She replied.
I relaxed, she was right I had to look at this carefully Drago took me so I could be his puppet to bring him the Stones of Life, he needs them so he can control every element and he has dark magic and technology on his side, Astrid couldn't even come close to getting through to me completely, and even know I'm not even sure if this is all really i-it could just be all a dream that the dark me is dreaming, I mean it feels like a dream...
She kisses me. She's real, this isn't a dream this is real. I kiss her back sliding my hand over her back only to have one hand on her mid-back and one on her waist. Gods how I missed her, this emotion, this power that I posses- I pull away quickly and shack as I curl up in the corner.
"No, no I can't!" I repeated over and over.
"Hiccup what's wrong w-what happened?" She asked kneeling to my level.
"I can't the spell, my happiness, if I get to happy then your spell stops working, I felt myself becoming consumed by bad ideas and thoughts and I don't want to hurt you." I said.
"It won't happen again Hiccup, I promise." She said.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"I'm pretty sure." She replied.
I sighed, I trusted her. I took her hand and she helped me up. "Hehe, I guess it was just shock or something, seeing that I haven't been around all that much."
She smiled softly. "what do you say, we go out and just hang out like we used to do."
I smiled. "Sounds good but there's something that I have to tell you first."
She raised a brow as she crossed her arms. "What would that be exactly?"
"To get your wedding dress, so that way when I turn back we can get married right away." I said.
Her face turned pale slightly. "Hiccup I-"
"No buts' Astrid, I want you to take Mom and the others with you, I-I kind of drew some designs, I wanted to show you them before you went to get it." I said as I walked over and took out my sketch book.
She walked over and stood over my shoulder as I opened the book up.
"Wow, you made theses, for me?" She asked.
I nodded. "Yes, but there's one in particular that I like."
I turned to the page.
"Okay, Hiccup I'll get my wedding dress but on one concision." She said.
"What would that be?" I asked.
"You have to give me a massage once we get to the tree fort." She said smiling.
"Gods the outpost, we haven't been there for a while, but sure I'll give you your massage." I said.
She smiled as we both backed our saddle bags and flew off towards our outpost. Once we arrive I hope off of Toothless and stretch. Astrid walks over and takes my hand and we sit down on the bench.
"You want to see something cool Astrid?" I asked.
"Sure." She said.
I formed a plasma ball and shot it into the fire pit ignighting it.
"Not bad, know love, you promised to give me a message." Astrid said.
I smiled and begun messaging her shoulders, she was tense, I've never seen her this tense before and we've been through a lot.
"I know, tense, right? I-it's been a hard few weeks since you disappeared into the darkness." She said.
The last thing I remembered was the world falling dark...
Dragon Hiccup POV:
"Hehehe, hello my love." I said running my hand over the small of her back. I felt her shiver and froze stiff.
"H-How are you in control?" She asked slowly her voice shock in fear.
I smiled darkly. "You're very naughty, you know that? Maybe you need a good smack to be corrected."
She turned to throw a punch which just missed me and I put her in an arm lock pinning her to the wooden floor. "Oh so you want to play ruff do you?" I smiled at the thought of what I could do to her all the ways to make her mine, to make her a slave to me...
"et ferent secum signa et tenebris lux!" Astrid shouted.
(A/N: Translation- I banish the darkness and summon the light.)
I recoiled away. Then laughed. "Nice try love but Latin spell's don't quite have the same effect on me but nice try, you have been practicing your magic." I said as Astrid pushed to her feet.
"You'd be surprised that was just to get you off me!" She said.
I just smirked I had magic, but I don't normally use it.
" Jeg lys av gudene kommandoen for å forsegle bort denne mørke skapninger tantied sjel og bringe frem den rene sjelen som lå dype innenfor tanited mørket , ta med deg ut for å gå amoungst verden over levende og gjør dette holdt en søvn till ned skal brems forhenget av natten , jeg befaler deg, bringe frem den rene sjelen og forvise mørket inn i tomrommet av natten til morgengry skal stå!" Astrid chanted.
(A/N: Translation- I the light of the gods command to seal away this dark creatures tainted soul, and bring forth the pure soul that lay's deep within the tainted darkness, bring thee forth to walk amongst the world of the living and make this tainted one sleep till down shall brake the vial of night, I command thee, bring forth the pure soul and banish the dark into the void of night until dawn shall rise!)
I gasped and gripped my head and side. "Dame it, how do you do this!"
"Because I have a job to do, save my lover." She said as the world turns black.
Hiccup's POV:
I groaned as I stirred from sleep. When I opened my eyes I was met by Astrid's coinsured face.
"How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Okay, what time is it?" I asked.
"About five in the evening." She said helping me to my feet, well foot and prostatic.
"Do you want to eat here or back home?" I asked.
"Here." She said.
I nodded and began cooking dinner for Astrid and I.
As I cooked I felt better, I just wished that Drago didn't own my soul, I would be free and be with Astrid, I did it to protect everyone.
Once dinner is ready Astrid and I just eat in silence. Once we were finished we spent some time walking around and watching the sunset.
"It's been a nice day, to bad tomorrow I have to go back to Drago, and take something of yours with me." I said.
"Wait, why? What do you have to take?" She asked.
"Something of value but I can't do that to you, this is the one order that I won't do!" I said.
"No, Hiccup if you defy an order Drago might do something to you!" Astrid said.
"Yeah like re-program my chip." I said tapping my head.
"H-he put something inside your head?" She asked.
I nodded grimly. "Yes, in a matter of specking, I needed to have it because the other me was becoming two self aware, so it's able to control my actions."
She touches my head. "I'll find a way to help you, somehow, but know it is time for sleep." She said.
I leaded back agents my cout Astrid in my arms soon she fell into sleep and I knew when morning comes I would leave this world and fall into sleep once more.
