"Oi...Faker...wake up..." Shadow poked the mass of blue quills. The Ultimate Life Form let out an irritated huff before shouting in Nicky's ear "OKIMASU!" Unfortunately for the ebony hedgehog, Nicky still remained asleep tucked under his blanket snoring slightly. If someone was to come into the room and see the peaceful hedgehog, they'd coo at the cuteness of the scene. Sadly, that's not the case for Shadow as he wants to wake our blue hedgie up.
"Shadow-San, just leave him be..." Silver yawned as he put his boots on. Even he was woken up by Shadow. He was silenced at the death glare given to him.
"Look at the time," Shadow pointed at the very advanced clock on the wall with its blinking digits. Silver let out a low whistle and scratched the back of his head. "It's nearly 1pm and this stupid blue spike is still dozing." Shadow then faced Nicky again before a malevolent smirk made way on his muzzle.
"Nani? I don't like that look on your face." Silver bit the bottom of his lip and crossed his arms. "You look like a psycho," Shadow ignored him and snatched the duvet off his form and a small chaos spear appeared in his hand. Silver's eyes widened before covering his ears and looked away.
"CHAOS SPEAR!"
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAA! NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDEEEEE!" the blue blur let out a shriek and ran around the room holding onto his sore tail before a blob of water crashed down on top of him soaking him to the skin. Nicky looked to his side to see Silver's hands glowing with telekinesis and a guilty look. "Silver..." Nicky growled as Silver took a step back.
"Eh...matte!" Silver flew up just in time otherwise Nicky would've had spin dashed him to a pulp. "Shadow burned your tail! Not me!" Silver yelled.
"Doesn't mean you use your telekinesis to throw water all over me!" Nicky argued back but then looked down to face Shadow with fire lit in his eyes, "And you! I'm going to kick y-"
"Naroma," Shadow cut him off before he dashed out of the room leaving behind a red blur. The soaked hedgehog was left with a bewildered face before letting out a few curses and chased after his older counterpart.
Silver was left behind. The albino hedgehog let out a small sigh and noticed Nicky's gloves, shoes and socks left behind scattered over the floor.
'Well someone's gotta give it to him,' he mused to himself before picking about the belongings and calmly headed out of the room. The room that consisted a bed and a bunk bed along with some other futuristic indescribable objects were left as a mess due to the double trouble hedgehogs. Pity should be felt the person who has to clean the whole room up.

The canteen in the Zonecop headquarters is rich with fragrance of all the cooking from the best of the best chefs in the dimension. Even a cop deserves a well earned brunch, no? Since it's the early afternoon, the place is still packed with Zonecops of all sorts and species during their well earned break after working so hard in the office or out at the front. As you come in the middle of the room, you'll see in a big table, the leader: Zonic and his three main team mates (Zails, Znuckles and Zamy) sitting there along with young Emi. What was odd about her currently was the fact that she was eating breakfast.
"Gomen nasai, for sleeping in today." the twelve year old bowed down her head in apology to her fellow counterpart. Zamy let out a giggle and waved her off.
"That's like the hundredth time you've apologised Emi, it's fine. At least you've woken up before the trio." Zamy pointed out. "Now finish your pancakes, the chefs made them especially for you guys." Emi's eyes lit up and let out a cute giggle before popping another forkful of pancakes in her mouth with a squeal of delight. After swallowing, she added:
"Tell the chefs that these are amazing!"
"Will do mini Rose," Znuckles answered with his mouth full of his lunch.
"Don't speak with your mouth full!" Both Emi and Zamy hissed together and then looked at one another before bursting out in laughter. Znuckles rolled his eyes at them but cracked a small grin.
"Znuckles, Znuckles, Znuckles, where are your manners?" Zails teased the echidna receiving a little glare from him.
"I wonder, how long will it be till them hedgehogs arrive-" Zonic was cut off by an angry voice cursing just at the entrance. They were all met by a black blur arriving at their table. Shadow stuck out his leg tripping up the fuming Nicky making him crash just by Znuckles' chair. Nicky groaned and then stood up instantly facing Shadow.
"Manuke." Shadow scoffed. Zonic held Nicky back from attacking the smug faced hedgehog.
"Doke! Lemme go!" Anger marks were flashing all over Nicky's head as he swung is arms and legs repeatedly trying to grab Shadow. "He burnt my tail- AGAIN!"
"He wouldn't wake up- again." Shadow replied bluntly and sat down on the table helping himself to some breakfast. Zails let out a little 'Oh bother' while Znuckles erupted into a huge fit of giggles.
"Shado-Sama! That isn't nice." Emi pouted "All you had to do was tickle him."
"Ne! Don't give him any ideas." Nicky yelled and rubbed his tail slightly "At least your tail isn't being tortured by some faker."
"At least I'm not the big baby who can't deal with a itty bitty chaos spear and screams like a girl." Shadow retorted. His eyes were closed peacefully as he ate.
"Scream like a girl?! Who do you think I am? Plus, how would you like it if I burnt your tail?" Nicky pointed his bare fingers at Shadow.
"With what? Last time I checked, you don't have the ability to make or use any object and power that contains thermal energy in order to attack and defend from others." If Shadow could take back his words, now would've been good cos the next thing Nicky did was grab Emi's steaming hot cup of tea and with his speed, poured it on Shadow's tail.
While Emi and the Zonecops stood there with their mouths agape, Shadow stiffened in his place and gripped his spoon very hard leaving a visible dent on the handle.
"Warugaki..." Fury was written all over the dark hedgehog's face causing Nicky to sweat drop big time and place the tea cup on the table. Maybe Nicky did go a 'little' overboard.
"Yamaro!" Everyone turned their heads to one one direction facing a familiar hedgehog.
"Silver-San? Konnichiwa!" Emi waved with a small sweat drop on the side of her head but was very relieved that Silver's presence stopped the fight that was about to happen between the double trouble. Silver gave her a nod in reply and took a step towards Nicky.
"You left these in the room." He grumbled and handed Nicky's gloves and shoes. Nicky blinked and looked at his bare hands and fuzzy feet and flushed slightly.
As fast as his original namesake, Nicky slipped on his possessions and muttered a little thanks.
"So, you guys cool now?" Znuckles gestured between Nicky and Shadow. Shadow merely glanced at Nicky and let out a disgusted sound while Nicky stuck his tongue out in return.
"Well, they're not trying to kill each other. You four finish your breakfast then come to my lab. Zonic, Zamy, Znuckles, come with me. We have some work from Warden to finish off with and we've to prepare some things for the young hedgehogs." Zails stood up and the other three followed him.
"Why do we have to prepare things for them?" Zonic whined but immediately shut up when Zamy linked her fingers with his. She sent a sly grin to him while he looked away with a smile. Even though Znuckles seemed oblivious to the lovehogs, Zails smiled knowingly while Emi and the Triple S gawked at them in astonishment. As soon as the four Zonecops left the canteen, Emi couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Ehhhhhhhhhhhh? When did this happen? How? Why didn't Zamy tell me? They're so CUTE together and awwwww!" she squealed and kicked her legs back and forth in glee. Her three male friends just crashed their heads down on the table in embarrassment while Emi grabbed unnecessary attention.
Shadow grabbed a strawberry and forced it into Emi's mouth shutting her up. She cocked her head in confusion but chewed on the delightful fruit.
"Rozu...calm down." he smirked. Emi let out a small 'oops' and a nervous chuckle.
"S-sorry you guys but erm...I can't help myself when I see such romantic gestures eheh."
"And that's why Nicky hardly does any with you I suppose." Silver elbowed Nicky's arm slightly ignoring the lime eyes burning through his soul.
"Ehem- Changing the subject now," Nicky interrupted "Lets focus on what we have left to do." He sat down on a chair between Shadow and Emi (much to her delight) "After breakfast, we're going to the Anti-world to retrieve the remaining three chaos emerald, no? We all know how dangerous that world is going to be," he glanced at both Emi and Silver .
"And you don't want anyone to be too reckless or cocky, am I right here?" Shadow finished the sentence. "Funny, coming from you that is."
"Souda, Souda." Nicky winked but then his expression turned serious again. "Since you two wouldn't listen to me and Shadow about staying behind while we head out, we're gonna have to keep an eye on the two of yous and make sure you stay with us at all times." He spoke to Emi and Silver who both rolled their eyes in process.
"We're not babies you know. Even if we did listen to you both, Zonic did say it's almost suicide to go by yourselves in that world. We need all the help we could get." Silver argued.
"It's not like this will make a difference," Emi crossed her arms "You both always kept an eye on us from the beginning." Nicky gulped at this sentence and Shadow puffed up one of his cheeks. "But then again, if we all stick together, we'll be fine." she added. Silver nodded in agreement thus Nicky sighed in relief.
They all ate in a comfortable silence due to hunger but was content in each other's presence (excluding Shadow since he has a very sore tail to deal with) Nicky let out a quick belch making the others cringe in disgust.
"Whut? It's natural." the blue hedgehog shrugged.
"I'm done here...Iyarashii..." Shadow glared at Nicky then stood from his seat and skated out of the canteen. Silver wiped his mouth with a napkin and nodded towards Nicky and Emi before saying:
"Jā mata ne," the cotton coloured hedgehog took of in flight and headed towards the lab leaving pink and blue alone on the table. There were now less Zonecops in the canteen since most of them returned to their work.
"You know, even though you were the first one to come here, you're still that last one to finish your food." Nicky chuckled and flicked her ear jokingly. "Need any help eating your pancakes?" Emi moved her plate away from him and shook her head.
"These pancakes are too good to share Nicky-Kun. And not even that doggy face is going to make me change my decision," she closed her eyes to avoid giving in to his enlarged emerald orbs.
"Are? Then what will?" Nicky pressed on edging closer to the sakura rose. With a devilish smile, he snaked his finger across her arm before intertwining his fingers with hers forcing her to look at him. As soon as she looked into his hypnotizing eyes, she was lost into them and moved closer like a trance but slowly to his face. Before she knew it, Nicky grabbed her other arm that was holding a forkful of pancake and snatched the food with his mouth snapping Emi out of her trance.
"Anata wa-" Emi began to hiss with words reeking of venom but was cut off by her beloved.
"Sugoi? Kawaii?" He leaned in closer to her face and huskily whispered "Irropoi?" in a matter of seconds, her Piko Piko hammer materialised in thin air and aimed for Nicky's face however, the blue blur was expecting such gesture and ducked the blow. The hammer knocked over an unfortunate Zonecop making him land inside a bin but Emi couldn't care less about him.
"How dare you over-abuse my feelings for you just so you could eat my breakfast?" Emi wailed and dove at Nicky making them both fall on the floor. She tried to punch him in the chest as hard as she could but since she was all flustered, her strength kind of decreased. Not to mention the fact his chest was kind of strong. Nicky however was howling in laughter and grabbed the both of her fists.
"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry." He chuckled but Emi let out a little scoff. "But you wouldn't share." he added with a whiny tone.
"You had your own." Emi countered back.
"But you added the right amount of sugar and lemon juice on yours." Nicky tried to sit up with his elbows but it was easier said than done since Emi was still sitting on him.
"You could've said: Oh Emi-Chan, since you're so sweet and cute and since I love you so much, can you help me put some sugar and lemon juice on my pancakes?' But noooooo, you had to just eat mine! Rude! Arrogant! Baka!" Emi stopped mid sentence as she saw Nicky pretending to fall asleep in her.
"Temae..." she admonished but suddenly yelped out in pain. Nicky opened his eyes immediately and saw her shoot her hand to the side of her waist where she was injured yesterday. Emi stood up quickly and took a few step back with an embarrassed smile but Nicky didn't take any of that. He shot towards her and moved her hand away from the wound to see the bandage come lose and the wound slightly bleeding again.
"Nicky...eto..." Emi stammered and bit her bottom lip. Nicky couldn't stop staring at the gash and instantly, guilt flooded back into his mind for not protecting her well enough.
"Chikushō. It still hurts doesn't it?" his voice was a lot quieter. He let out a deep sigh and gripped her shoulders. "This is why, I didn't want you to come."
"I made up my decision and I will repeat it: I'm coming with you." Emi persisted. 'Why can't he just let it be? I'll heal in time.' Emi thought to herself. Nicky didn't reply but focused on placing the bandage on the right place of her waist and tightened it slightly. Emi's cheeks reddened as he did his work. He was so focused, so determined yet behind his eyes was a pained emotion.
'Could it be love?' she mused to herself.
"You're definitely not going to leave my sight for a while now. I'll make sure you stay safe." Nicky murmured and held her up bridal style. "Does it hurt? The way I'm holding ya?" Emi shook her head. Nicky flashed a his trademark grin at her before they dashed away towards the elevator that would lead them to the lab.
'Why is he getting me all flustered? Why's my mouth so dry? I should be the one flustering him!' Multiple questions ran through Emi's mind as she was cradled in Nicky's arms. If she wasn't injured or confused, then she would be cooing at Nicky and his affections. 'Is this how he feels every time I show him my affections?'
They've reached the elevator in a matter of sonic seconds. Nicky placed Emi on her feet and pressed the button. The hovering elevator immediately came down and several Zonecops stepped out of it. The duo stepped in and the door closed. Nicky pressed on the button that would lead them to the lab and waited. He glanced at Emi who was smiling to herself contently. A warm grin made way to his muzzle.
"Emi, come here." he gestured to her with one finger. Though, the tone of his voice made her obey like a lost puppy. It was that one tone which made her knees feel like jelly.
Nicky brushed her bangs away from her eyes with his hand and placed his lips on her forehead. As a result, both their faces were flushed in the colour of ichigo and a shy smile on the older hedgehog's.
"Doushite? Nicky-"
"Cos you're acting all cute. I should probably do this more often if that stops ya from spazzing out every time you see me Emi." Credit to Nicky for ruining every romantic moment that occurs between the two of them. Emi playfully slapped his shoulder and muttered a few words that wasn't very pleasing. Much to her dismay, Nicky picked up every single word.
"Oh?" The cyan teen fake gasped "What was that?" He dramatically covered his mouth in shock.
"Eh? What was what?" Emi narrowed her eyes at him.
"I ought to wash your mouth out with soap!" He jabbed a finger on her nose allowing her to take a step back in confusion and my, was she confused.
"Nani? Nani? Nani? I didn't say anything rude or dirty."
"Chaos knows what goes in that filthy little mind of yours." The door of the lift opened and Nicky casually stepped out followed by an annoyed Emi.
"How am I filthy? I'm innocent! Totally innocent! I didn't say anything wrong."
"Yes you di-iiid." Blue teased.
"No I DIDN'T!" Pink argued back. Nicky guffawed at her tone of voice. It went from her normal high pitch to a squeaky pitch showing her true age. 'Oh Chaos, why is she so adorable?' Nicky thought to himself with a huge smirk. He couldn't get enough of getting her cheeks flush to the colours of her favourite fruit: Strawberry! He couldn't resist making her angry as this emotion lights up her jade eyes in such passion. He couldn't stop staring at her lips which she kept biting in anger.
"Sure, sure, I belie-" Emi cut him off.
"I only said: It's because you're cute that I let you off with a number of things! Chaos!"
"I know," Nicky nudged her while she shook her head in surprise. Emi ran in front of him with her hands on her hips and opened her mouth to talk.
"Then what was that all about? Nande?"
"You ask too many questions." Nicky replied coolly making her grit her teeth in anger. This hedgehog is so cocky yet annoyingly smart mouthed as well. "Anyway, we've arrived."
Just like Nicky pointed out, they've arrived at the entrance to Zails' lab. Everyone in the room looked up to acknowledge the two hedgehogs' presence.
"Yo! Saikin dou desuka?" Nicky stepped in followed by his pink companion. Zonic stepped away from the tablet for a moment and gestured for the four SEGA hedgehogs to take a seat on the table.
Zamy sat on the edge of the table next to Silver while Znuckles stood by Zails near a computer.
"Zails would like to confess something," Zonic grumbled. The kitsune Zonecop chuckled nervously and then gulped.
"You remember the invisible cloak right?" The quadrant nodded beckoning for the two tailed fox boy to carry on "Well, you see, ahem- you four were meant to be hidden underneath it as we all entered the building..."
"So why didn't we?" Silver asked however, Zails started to sweat a bit more.
"I kind of forgotten it back at the hovercraft instead of bringing the cloak with us. If it weren't for me, neither of you guys would've been injured. Especially you Emi and Silver. Your injuries were quite serious."
"Zails, I told you, it's not just your fault." Zonic quickly added. He was right though, after all, he's the leader of the whole team and has to take responsibility for every bit and bob.
"Hmmm..." Nicky pretended to think. Zonic raised a brow at his so called thinking. "Since I'm such a nice guy, I'll let ya off. We should've been more careful as well." He concluded.
"We didn't ask for any punishment or to apologise. It's our duty to keep you out of the dark." Zonic hissed.
"BEEP BEEP! UPCOMING VIDEO MESSAGE!" The computer by Zails alerted the whole team. Suddenly, a hologram of Tails from the SEGA hedgehogs' world appeared in front of them.
"TAILS!" Nicky, Emi and Silver chorused and ran towards the hologram with Shadow lazily walking by them. 'Kids these days,' he thought to himself.
"Hey guys! Long time no see," Tails chirped.
"That's my line." Nicky playfully scolded the eight year old and wagged his finger receiving a little raspberry blow from his lil' bro and a giggle.
"I called to know the reports so far and what you guys are now going to do." Tails clarified.
"I'll tell you," Zonic piped up "First, the blue one is an annoying pain in my backside-"
"Yakamashii!" Nicky yelped.
"-second, they've received a chaos emerald in this dimension and has only three more left to collect. Third, they're all injured somehow during the fight against the assassins the other day." Zonic concluded.
"Assassins? Nani? And one emerald? What happened to the other in this dimension?" Tails babbled, worry was visible in his eyes despite being in a form of a hologram in front of the group.
"My anti stole it." Nicky puffed. A distinct murmur was heard in the background of Tails' hologram. Suddenly, a lilac feline appeared next to Tails.
"Blaze?" Silver blinked rapidly and rubbed his eyes to ensure that he wasn't dreaming. "Bureizu?" He repeated her name again. Blaze gave a slight embarrassed cough signalling the albino hedgehog something. "Oh! Can you all give us a minute?" He pleaded to the group. The Zonecops were more than happy to oblige however, his three friends gave a frustrated expression. "Kudusai?" Shadow gave a quick nod and stepped out of the room. Nicky was about to follow him but, he noticed Emi was just standing there defiantly.
"Ano...Emi?" Nicky tapped her on the shoulder. She shrugged him off and folded her arms.
"Do I have to-ooooooo?" She whined. "I wanna see if anything cute happens between the two of you." As a result, Silver's and Blaze's cheeks burst into a crimson colour while Nicky sweat dropped.
"Somethings never change..." The blue hedgehog humoured himself and pushed Emi's back leading her out of the room as she protested. Lucky for them, she didn't hammer Nicky off of her.
"Ne! Sugu modori masu!" Emi admonished but ended up having Nicky clamp his mouth over hers to silence anymore useless threats.
Finally, both Silver and hologram Blaze was alone in the room as Tails left Blaze so she could have some privacy as well.
"Blaze!" Silver cried out in joy and ran towards the hologram with his arms out but, he ran straight through it and fell on his face. He got up and rubbed his head.
"You're so naive." Blaze shook her head but then smiled at him.
"Gomen ne, I forgot you were a hologram just for a moment." Silver replied sheepishly as he got up to face Blaze. He took a step forward to meet her gaze. "So, how are you guys?"
"Um, other than the fact Eggman wouldn't stop bugging us all, we're pretty much fine Silver. Forget us lot, judging by the state of you guys, I bet you've all been through a lot." Her golden eyes rested on Silver's bandaged leg.
"B-Blaze! Why are you looking so guilty for? This is none of your fault!"
"I know that! Anata wa baka...BAKA!" Blaze blurted out in anger with her fangs bared out. Silver bowed his head down in shame. The princess didn't stop there though. "Why did you have to go? Why did you enter that machine in the first place? Doushite? Can't you see how worried I am about your safety?"
"I know b-" Silver began but interrupted by the pyrokenetic princess.
"But what? For crying out loud Silver your leg is hurt! And I'm not there to tend your health there either an-"
"I know Blaze! When will you stop treating me like a child? We're the same age!" Silver exploded out in frustration causing Blaze to gasp. "Since when wasn't I in danger? Just because you're not by my side doesn't mean I'm completely helpless." His eyes glistened slightly as he held back his tears. "I know I'm not the wisest guy around or the strongest but I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself. Plus, I'm not all alone-"
"Yeah I know, Nicky, Emi and Shadow-"
"No, physically they're by my side and I'm glad they are so but the reason that I'm not alone is because..." Silver took a deep breath "...it's because you're always by my side and will always stay here," He pointed to his chest "My Kokoro..." Blaze looked like she was on the verge of tears.
"Why are you so sweet?" Blaze whispered and had her hand out.
"That's good right?" Silver stammered and let his fingers gently brush her holographic fingers even though it went through it slightly.
"Hai," Blaze smiled genuinely. "Take care of yourself Silver and take care of the others too." Blaze took a step and her holographic lips puckered on Silver's forehead unexpectedly. His golden eyes lit up in surprise. "Cos you're my naive hedgehog," Blaze quickly added and cleared her throat with glowing cheeks. As soon as Silver opened his mouth to say something...
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Kawaiiiiiiiiiiii nyaaaaaaahahahaha!" A familiar high pitched voice squealed by the doorway making the hedgehog and cat snap to its direction with gaping mouths.
"Emi?" The duo felt their mouths dry up and stomachs do a trip flip as they witnessed the bubblegum hedgehog jump crazily in front of them like she won the lottery.
"EMI!" A blue blur hollered and appeared in front of her with anger marks all over his face. Nicky tried to grab her unfortunately, Emi grabbed his wrists and floored him so she was the one sitting on him with a victorious smile on her face. Nicky had swirls in his eyes due to his head hitting the hard floor. Emi looked up at the red faced duo and clasped her hands together and put them by her cheeks with a mischievous giggle.
"Emi! How long were you there?" Silver took a step back.
"Ikanakutewa narimasen!" Blaze spoke quickly "Emi, Sonikku to Shado ni yoroshiku to tsutaete kudasai." Her holographic form disappeared and was instantly replaced by Tails' form again.
"Matte! Blaze!" Silver huffed in defeat as Tails looked at him confusingly and then at Emi and Nicky feeling sorry for his big bro. Shadow stepped inside the room and stood by Emi while the Zonecops peered through the entrance with mixed expressions. You could say that Znuckles was a second away from laughing his big head off while Zails' expression juxtaposed his with a 'really?' look.
"Rozu, I think it would be wise if you got off of him." Shadow picked her up by the shoulders and set her on the floor however, Nicky was still on the floor with a big bump on his head.
"Aw, why?" Emi kicked the floor slightly.
"Cos I don't want faker getting any ideas..." Shadow replied darkly.
"What ideas?" Her innocent mind couldn't understand.
"Shut up Shadow! I'm nothing like that!" Nicky shouted so suddenly that it made Emi jump into Shadow's arm and cling onto his neck before realising that it was her lover that spoke. "You can let her go you know," The blue blur glared at his competitor.
"To a hentai like you? No way." Shadow smirked. This set Nicky off and to bolt towards the black hedgehog.
"KISAMA!" Shadow ran with a confused Emi in his arms as Nicky chased him in the room.
"Tails..." Silver groaned. "You've known them longer than me, how do you stop this?" Tails shrugged his shoulders and sighed. He then looked at Silver oddly.
"Aren't you mad that they were all eavesdropping on you and Blaze?" Tails namesakes twirled in wonder.
"No, more embarrassed to be honest. I should be mad at them!" Silver pouted before his eyes widened as he realised the scene before him has changed.
"HENTAI!" Shadow yelled and tugged on one of Emi's arms.
"KUSOJIJII!" Nicky yelled back and tugged on Emi's other arm.
"HENTAI!"
"KUSOJIJII!"
"Wakarimasen..." Emi muttered as she was tugged like a rag doll. Luckily, her waist was unharmed but her arms feel like they're going to be teared off.
BOP! BOP!
Nicky and Shadow fell on the floor grasping their heads with a groan. Stood by their forms were both Zonic and Zails with one fist in front of them and gritting their teeth.
"Free at last!" Emi jumped up and did a little twirl. Double Trouble sat up glaring at each other and turned away from each other's gaze with a huff.
"I'm not gonna ask what's going on but right now you guys are wasting time. You have to go to the Anti-World now if you ever want to go back home." Zonic had a serious look plastered on his face. The trio looked down in shame.
"That reminds me," Tails chirped up grabbing everyone's attention "Tails from the other Sonic's dimension sent me a video message a few hours ago."
"It's been a while since we last saw Faker no.2 and Rose no.2," Shadow put one hand on his hip and motioned Tails to continue.
"Well, other Sonic and Amy has already arrived in the anti-world with their world's chaos emeralds however, as soon as they reached there, their trackers were somehow fried and now we don't know their location in that world."
"So this means that we have to look for them right?" Emi grimaced. She was quite tired of all the running around and fighting.
"Unfortunately for you guys. But, at least you only have three emeralds to go! Also, the other Tails told me to warn you Emi that you have to take extra care in that world."
"Eh? I know all of that but-"
"Anti Sonic A.K.A Scourge is a bit of a womanizer. Don't fall into his traps or else he's most likely to ruin your innocence. If Amy never got saved, he would've ruined her. We have a feeling that Scourge is aware that our world exist." Tails warned. Emi closed her gaping mouth.
"Whoa, he really is my anti." Nicky growled possessively. The mere thought of another guy trying to get to Emi made his quills spike up in anger and jealousy.
"Plus, you should stay clear of Emi's anti as well: Rosy The Rascal." Tails informed "I have to hang up now just in case Eggman pops in any minute."
"Okay, we'll see each other soon! Sayounara Teirusu!" Nicky waved. Emi and Silver waved as well. The Zonecops gave a salute too.
"Take care of everyone Fox Boy," Shadow smirked with his eyes closed.
"Will do!" The hologram of Tails disappeared into micro cubes and zoomed back inside the computer just like it did previously on the four hedgehog's wrist device.
"Your emeralds." Znuckles handed each of them a chaos emerald they've collected with hard work, blood and sweat. Zails handed them their wrist devices.
"I don't know if you noticed but while you guys were asleep, I kind of nicked your wrist devices and upgraded it a bit. Your Tails' knowledge is almost as equivalent as mine therefore I didn't really add anything new. I just made them work faster and keep them waterproof inside out. Plus, we can contact you anytime we want so we don't lose contact hehe." Zails chuckled and the four hedgehogs thanked him in gratitude.
Zamy gave them all a big hug and squeezed Emi the hardest to emphasize how much she was going to miss them.
"Oh Emi! You should come back soon again! We're gonna miss you guys so much and you haven't been properly introduced to the rest of our team either." Zamy let her go.
"I agree with her and don't grow up too soon and end up like Mr Grumpy here," Znuckles pointed at Zonic who whacked his finger away from him.
"We'll come back soon! I'll make sure of it!" Emi winked and then wrapped one arm around Nicky's shoulder. "Isn't that right Nicky?" She batted her lashes. Her hero raised a brow at her gesture.
"Yep! Don't miss us too much." He gave them all thumbs up.
"Don't worry, we won't. Just look after yourselves properly. Also, on my behalf, beat up that green snot as much as possible." Zonic's eyes glistened with mischief.
"We plan to." Shadow held out his emerald and his three companions did so too.
"CHAOS CONTROL!"
ZWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!
The four hedgehogs were now longer in the laboratory. The silence was as thick as a blanket despite the tablets and super computers beeping.
"Lets go people, we have work to do." Zonic put his helmet on and fixed the glass mask in front of his eyes. Znuckles and Zails stepped out of the entrance and walked down the corridor professionally but Zamy stood in her place and was still staring at the spot Emi was at just not too long ago. Zonic put a hand on her shoulder and used his other hand to tilt her chin in order for her to look at him.
"Hey, they'll be fine." Zonic whispered as his thumb stroked her cheek.
"I already miss them." Zamy sighed. By her surprise, Zonic pressed his lips against hers briefly yet full of warmth. He pulled away and ran his fingers down her quills.
"Don't think negatively. I don't want you to get scolded at by Warden just because of your lack of attention- again." Zonic took her hand and led her out of the door. Both Zonecops wore a determined smile. They believe in their counterparts. They know that they will beat Scourge.
(In the Anti-World)
It was still morning in this world but the clouds were dark like it was going to rain any moment blocking all the sun light. Most of the vegetation looked like they were on the verge of dying and the greenery was replaced with the colour of dusty brown. There were hardly any buildings in sight and the wind was a spine chilling temperature. You'd be a fool not to wear any warm clothes.
A pink hedgehog with long quills at the back of her head similar style of Nicky's and Sonic's quills walked along a bumpy stoned pathway. She wore a black corset along with matching shorts. Her ebony combat boots were up to her knees along with fishnet tights. Her gloves were finger less and they too were the colour of darkness and so was her headband. In one of her hands was a huge green hammer that was pointed on both sides dangerously. Perfect for smashing and for gruesome battles.
"Scourgey...look what you've done to our kingdom..." The hedgehog purred out her words and stroked her hammer. "None of this would've happened if you'd just stay still and let me smash you..." She smashed her hammer against the floor "OR LET ME RULE WITH YOU AS YOUR QUEEN!" She panted like she ran a marathon but then held her breath and stood up straight. "Eugh, remember what Kintobor said: Keep calm and don't let Scourge take over my thoughts. Focus on regaining the kingdom." She took a deep breath and pulled her hammer out of the ground.
She took a moment to glance at her clothing and smiled in a sly way. "I wonder, if Scourgey sees me now, would he find me irresistible? Hmm?" She moved her bangs out of her eyes only to see a flash before her. Instinctively, she wielded her hammer in front of her only to lower it as soon as she realised who it was.
"Another Amy Rose?" She cocked her head to the side and blinked. The girl wore her usual red dress and attire but had a huge wrist device by one of her gold bangles. Said girl looked up and blinked at the same time as the other pink hedgehog.
"Rosy?" Her voice lacked any fear but was rather full of curiousity. Rosy gave a toothy grin.
"So you must be the REAL prime counterparts to our world right? You're still called Amy Rose right?" Rosy took a dangerous step towards her and smiled like a psychopath.
"Emi Rozu...but just call me Emi..." Emi stated and took a step forward towards Rosy. She looked around her surroundings with a frown making Rosy cock an eyebrow at her. "What's with the look?"
"One) You're the first person not to run away as soon as you saw me. Two) Just what are you looking for?" Rosy narrowed her eyes at her.
"Oh...erm...I don't think you're that bad or anything and I'm looking for my friends. I think we got split up..."
"What do you mean? Just look at my hammer! It can smash things real good." Rosy smashed a huge rock nearby and laughed in a blood curling way.
"Say, how do you know about us being the real prime counterparts?" Emi ignored the maniacal moment of her fellow doppelganger and stared at the horizon in wonder.
BANG! BANG!
The sound of guns being blasted made the duo jump up in fright. Rosy looked behind herself snarling at the intruders. She grabbed Emi's hand and ran to a direction that would lead them to the dry woodlands.
"Hey! Where are you taking me!" Emi felt her heart race as fear dug it's way into her. She had enough with guns already and now she has to deal with them again? Her question fell death to Rosy's ears as she was only determined to get them out of there. Emi looked back to see dark figures running to another direction.
As soon as they entered the forest, Rosy stopped running and let go of Emi's hand. She panted for a bit before looking back to see if there was anyone still out there.
'Good there's no one.' She mused to herself.
"Emi?" Emi twirled around to see the very person she thought of during the chaos control.
"Amy?" Emi smiled and immediately pounced on her counterpart. "Long time no see!" She cooed and soon let go of her. Before any other words were exchanged, Rosy cleared her throat.
"Who else is here?" She asked with a hint of annoyance.
"Sonic from my world," Amy replied "And Sonic, Shadow and Silver from her world." Rosy made a sound of understanding and proceeded to walk. The two Amy's shrugged their shoulders and followed Rosy.
"Em, Rosy?" Amy broke the silence.
"Yeah?"
"You've changed...how?" Rosy stopped walking and then turned around to face them. "You'll get your answers as soon as we reach to Dr Kintobor's hideout. For now, keep quiet and follow me." Her voice was quite coarse and husky as she spoke. Emi and Amy sighed in disbelief but carried on following her.
"I wonder...where's Nicky, Shadow and Silver?" Emi whispered to herself and held onto Amy's hand. Amy squeezed it in reassurance as the duo walked behind their anti.
(With the Triple S)
"Chikushō...CHIKUSHO!" Nicky slammed a fist into the ground and gritted his teeth. Shadow kicked a stone in frustration while Silver paced back and forth. "After all that talk of staying together, she gets separated from us...AGAIN!" Nicky kept on punching the ground leaving holes.
"With that womanizing excuse of a hedgehog around as well..." Shadow growled and kicked the rock harder till it smashed.
"Nande...why her!?" Nicky bit his bottom lip a little too hard causing it to bleed and him to yelp. "Dammit..." He wiped off some of the blood leaving a smear on his glove.
"She's injured too." Silver pulled onto his front quills. Nicky stood up and faced his two friends. With new found optimism, he spoke:
"We'll find her. We always do! Lets go!" The other two nodded and ran after him as he bolted off.
'Chaos please, don't let Scourge get to her before us.' Nicky prayed in his mind. If anything else happened to his rose, he would never forgive himself.
