NICO'S POV

"Joseph. Don't listen to her. She's lying to you" I told Joseph. I looked over and saw that the girls had sunk to their knees, crying. I was holding back tears of my own.

"Joseph" The woman choked out. "Why would lie about something like this?"

Joseph glared at me. And if looks could kill, I would be paying a visit to my dad. His breathing became ragged, his fists were clenched.

"Why would you hurt her?" He asked harshly.

"I didn-"

"DON'T LIE TO ME" With that he lunged at me. He pinned me to the floor and started punching me. I tried again and again to stop him, but he was just to strong. Like, waaaay to strong. Amber and Ava ran over to help. With all three of us pushing him, he backed off. My nose was bleeding, probably broken. My jaw would definitely be bruised.

"Joe! We didn't do anything it was your mother! She...she tried to hurt me and Cassidy jumped in...in front of me" By the end, Amber was crying again. Joe looked so confused, and then angry. He turned towards me.

"Do you know how much she liked you?"

What? "What?"

"Yeah. Whenever it was just the two of us. She wouldn't stop talking about you. She thought you were adorable. And I think you liked her back. So...so you wouldn't have hurt her on purpose, right?" With that, he turned towards the lady.

"You told me that you loved us. That you cared. And you go and hurt Cassidy?" With that he exploded. He grabbed the nearest vase and threw it at the wall. Hermes I guess sensed danger, and in a split second, him and the woman disappeared. I tried to get Joseph to calm down.

"JOSEPH!" I yelled. He stopped and turned towards me.

"What?"

"I might be able to help her. Let's get her to her room first." Nico walked towards Cas' body and scooped her up in his arms. Her once very animated features were blank. Her skin was ice cold. I carried her to her bedroom and set her down on the bed.

"Ok, I need to be in here by myself" I told the others. "You guys go and try to find Hermes and..."

"Nyx." Joe finshed. With that they walked out the door, closing it behind them. Right before it was closed, Jo whispered to me "save her".

I took a deep breath. For this to work, I would have to transfer part of my soul to her. Not permanently. But just long enough for hers to have enough strength to return to her body. If I did this right, it would be fine for the most part. Then again, I've never had to do this. I laid my hands on her. I took a deep breath and willed my soul into her. It started to work, but only for like, a second. But I could tell this wasn't a lost cause. Somewhere in the underworld, she was fighting. That effort winded me so I got water and rested for a few minutes. Then I decided to try again. I held it for a bit longer this time. And I know that I heard Cassidy scream. No doubt about it. That was a good thing though. That meant that her senses were coming back. I tried to speak to her. No luck. This time I needed 20 minutes to try again. I had to be careful. I could very well die too. I decided that to really focus, I needed to go there myself. I traveled to the my fathers realm.

Once there, I stood on the shores on hell. I knew that she was here because when I tried to give her a part of my soul, I could see through her eyes for a split second. I saw her. She was freaking out. I knew that I had to be careful about this. See, when I say that I traveled there, I meant my soul. My body along with Cassidy's are still on in her room. I walked up to her slowly, and placed a hand on her shoulder. She tried to turn her head to see who it was, but screamed out in pain. I wanted to hold her in my arms, but I knew I had to be extremely careful.

"Come back to me baby" With that, I forced a fraction of my soul into Cassidy. It traveled through my arm and into her shoulder. I was sucked back to my body. My vision was turning black. Just before I felt my knees hit the floor, I thought I heard a small gasp.
